    The 75% WR in my DD tells you a different story :D This mode especially if matched against your natural counter becomes very skill dependant. You can still win if you outplay the enemy ship. The fights against BBs were pretty one-sided though, they basically have no chance against a well played DD with the caps surrounded by Islands for ambushes. Only played against one CV though and he was pretty easy to come by since he rushed the cap :D I guess Enterprise will be the main pain here. Torps against BBs, AP Bombers against BBs and Cruisers and the Rockets against DDs with insane squad size. You might consider banning her ;) But I don't get this mode either. Make it 2v2 with divisions so you can counter the counter. This would make it really skill heavy. Sprint is my most favourite iteration of ranked anyway :)

    PTS 0.8.11 - Bug reports

    I'm also getting the bug there I stuck in the result screen... This is a prio 1 bug!! Also in the spectator mode the HP bar of friendlies vanish if you spectate them and they get hit. Same bug is in the current version. Also my settings for the Minimap will not save in this version. So far this is the most unstable PTS I have ever experienced! I really hope this will not transition to the main game this time.

    You my friend need to read the post again. This shell will not cause fires but will ricochet. So angling is a thing here. If put in correctly this can be a nice addition to the game.

    So just for the record: I like the current system, please don't change it. 0.8.0 is bad enough without this change, no need to put this in for a new record.
  8. Sub_Octavian shared some nice stuff with us! I don't want this to vanish in the "Questions of the Community" section of the forum so I opened a new thread. Share your results here as well, I bet there can be a lot of cool stuff done with this tool! Haven't tried it yet, but would be nice to see what you can do with this.

    @Aslain I checked the files and the problem are the modded shell textures. As for a quick fix, I made a version without them, so only tracers: http://www.mediafire.com/file/4kq4n4l9objeh2b/0.7.9.0.rar/file @Leo_Apollo11 you can download and put them in your res_mods folder manually or you wait for the update.   10. Was die Namenswahl angeht bin ich eigentlich froh über die Änderung! Helmut Schiffmann war jetzt nicht grad der größte geistige Wurf, Franz von Jütland passt da schon besser.
  11. Warum folgst du dann deinem Kredo nicht und beachtest mich nicht weiter? Oh entschuldige, ist jetzt nicht so, dass ich dich stalke und daher jeden deiner Posts verfolge. So und wieso kann dann der englische Kapitän 3 haben? Wusstest du nicht? Ja WG hat vergessen den zu markieren, vllt deswegen. 3x2er Skills die gebufft sind, 2 davon top, der dritte für die Mino ganz brauchbar bevor man ihr smoke deployment erhöht hat. Als wäre mein Vorschlag auf einmal so Balancing zerstörend. Summa summarum kommen wir so auch auf 6 Punkte wie beim englischen Kapitän. Also alles super, mehr Auswahl für alle. Man wird auch nicht in eine bestimmte Skillung gezwungen, 3 Punkte sind schon ganz schön viel was man investieren muss, da muss man dann auf einiges verzichten. So zum Thema CB: Jeder Kreuzer fährt mit Hydro, ich sehe leider nicht, wie dieser Skill so "ein muss" sein soll? Es kam bis her noch nie vor, dass ich jemanden hab sagen hören "Mensch, jetzt 400m (Achtung, keine Übertreibung! empirischer Fakt!) mehr Torp spotting auf Hydro hätte dieses Match aber gedreht" Noch dazu sind CB ja eher die Ausnahme als die Regel. Einen Kapitän darauf auszulegen wäre schlicht kurzsichtig. Hey wie wäre es wenn wir AFT und BFT buffen? Etwas mehr Salz aus den Tränen der CV schadet der See doch nicht
  12. Ich sehe, das Stilmittel der Übertreibung ist dir kein Begriff. Du lehnst scheinbar auch eine Umfrage ab. Ich lasse mich gern eines besseren belehren, nur wirkt es durch meine Erfahrung nunmal (übrigens auch hier in dem Thread) so als würde die Mehrzahl die Skills des Kapitäns (insbesondere Vigilance) ablehnen. Ich gebe einen Vorschlag, wie man den Kapitän vllt noch für mehr Leute interessanter gestalten kann und von dir kommt nur "kann man nicht jedem recht machen"? Sehr konstruktiv, ich frage mich wer hier etwas begrenzt ist.
  13. Genau, ich stütze meine Erfahrung nur auf das deutsche Forum und die Leute die ich kenn sind auch alles nur deutsche! Die fahren auch alle nur deutsche Schiffe und haben keine Meinung zu den anderen Kapitänen... EM und PM sind doch top skills? Moskva, Khaba profitieren, Kommende BBs ebenso. Vllt sollte man mal eine Umfrage dazu machen? Man kann auch ein Gesetz verabschieden gegen das 75% dagegen sind und dann sagen "Wir werden es nie jedem Recht machen können", aber daran findest du dann bestimmt auch nichts "komisch" oder? Mhm also EM und EL sind top auf der Desmo, in unter 1,5 sec Munition wechseln = top!

Komisch nur, dass ich bei den anderen Kapitänen keinen kenne der sich beschwert hat und hier meine beiden Hände nicht mehr ausreichen um die Personen abzuzählen... und damit mein ich nur die, die ich persönlich kenne und zähle nicht die Leute hier dazu. JOAT ist okay, Vigilance für Leute denen das deutsche Hydro immer noch nicht reicht um Torps auszuweichen. Vigilance kann komplett mit Erfahrung wett gemacht werden und wer es braucht und dem die normalen 25% immer noch nicht reichen... Naja sag ich mal dem helfen auch keine 35%. Dann legt doch noch nen 3. 1er skill wie EL dazu und gut, wäre ich für meinen Teil schon ruhig, könnte ich schon mal was mit anfangen.
  15. Mhm also in Wachsamkeit seh ich jetzt eigentlich überhaupt keinen Nutzen, hab doch das super Hydro. Da gibt es Kapitäne wie Jack Dunkirk der mit 3 Skills daher kommt (Wovon ihr übrigens einen vergessen habt zu markieren) und hier sowas. Klar ist es der erste 3er Skill aber dafür muss man hier auch mehr Opfern um ihn mitnehmen zu können. Nicht ein einziges deutsches Schiff nutzt bei mir diese beiden Skills. Tausendsassa kann ich ja noch nachvollziehen und man bekommt ihn vllt noch irgendwie auf der Z-52 unter aber Wachsamkeit? Hätte die viel lieber Expert Loader gehabt um das situative AP besser einsetzen zu können... Für mich also ziemlich enttäuschend der Kapitän... Und dazu noch der Name

    Ship Horn

    I was very sceptical about this one, but you surprised me! The horns are very well implemented and thought through! You are able to disable them in the options if they annoy you, and they are not really spamable. I really wish this level on quality on all other parts of the game! Only the santa sound at the end annoys the [edited]out of me! But I hope this will only stay during the xmas season and you keep the horns after it.

    Public Test - General Feedback

    So since this is kind of patch regarded I put it here in general for the actual tested update. This game needs a balance patch before everything else! Big fat battleships that get better concealment than same tier cruisers? Light cruiser that made heavy cruisers obsolete with the right skills? What do you guys do? You bring more BBs with ridiculous stealth (brit BBs) you plan a T8 BB Roma with again around 11km detection if skilled right. You plan a light cruiser US split - will you give them AP only like the brits to balance them or how are you going around this time? You couldn't bring in the brit cruisers with HE because they where ridiculously overpowered so you made them gimmicky with AP only. French cruisers powercreeped the crap out of some lines. Charles gets a 10sec reload with good HE, good range, good arcs, good AP. How does a New Orleans with ridiculously bad HP pool or a Hipper with bad AP, now mediocre reload, less turrets, bad HE and bad speed compete with this? There is a complete balancing mess in this game, its so bad you even had to ban CVs from CB because of it. But you still happily release new prems and lines without working on the existing ones! I know so many who stopped playing because of this like my self and I will not come back until you fix some things. There is so much stuff there no data is needed just a bit of sense. This game used to be so much fun. Right now its just a mess... played one round on the PTS and stopped after it because it is so bad. Why the brit cruiser smoke buff?? Because idiots are not willing to learn to slow down their ships before they deploy it? Make proper tutorials instead of lowering the skill it takes to play this game! I'm not interested in playing battleship the whole time but since you are catering them so much nothing else is really left to play without frustration. Thank god I now can play conq with HE only and still make 300k dmg. THIS.IS.SO.BRAINDEAD

    Update 0.6.9 - General Feedback

    Is it just me or is the MM going a bit strange recently? I get tons of games with unbalanced ship classes and it is highly annoying if you are one DD and one BB off at the start and get 2 cruisers more to make up for it... cruisers... The things that tent to get devastated rather quickly... Just some examples: It makes no sense for me because you could balance it out rather easy... at least a bit better than this. For example in the last one just switch the Aoba for the Fubuki and it is a bit less retarded... This really happens a lot and while a DD or a BB more can make a lot of difference both at the same time is just a bit crazy and if the skill between the players isn't to far apart you get handicapped right from the start... It also happens a lot now that you get, lets say and Udaloi and a Tashkent and the enemy gets a Fletcher, a Yugumo and a Kagero. Now try to fight for the caps...

    On my end it is hitting the ship! I got puddles all over the ship and little splashes from the rain hitting it. I hoped for so long now that we will get also different weather through out the battle without decreasing the spotting in a cyclone but nope... Fighting in light rain with big clouds in the sky would be so cool...

    Public Test 0.6.10 General Feedback

    Don't know there else to put this... so here we go: About the Lion... this ship definitely is OP! It has to much of everything! I started a fire on an Izumo with every volley I hit! First 3 volleys on different battleships started a double fire! The firechance is ridiculous. If it had some drawbacks maybe but it doesn't have them! It got super heal, that heals about what? 35k in 10 seconds? So the low HP pool is no argument at all! That ship is almost imune to fires! Because you can just rep the dmg out. The AP is strong enough to punish every broadside ship with ease and if something angles you got the napalm flavoured HE shells... but that is not enough, no they also have a concealment that is better then on most of the cruisers of the same tier!! These ships (if they are all as strong as the Lion) definitely need a rework for the sake of balance! Otherwise I will sail nothing else than these ships any more unless I get bored of them. Then I will most likely play something else. Hope your server stats will show you that a nerf is needed... From what I have experienced the Lion is just OP since it is easy the strongest T9 BB and we all know in what state BBs are right now. Edit: Oh yeah, completely forgot about that citadel and that these ships are immune to them from mid to close range! They are also fast and quite manoeuvrable... nuff said

    Public Test 0.6.10 - Interface

    Guess this is for the new "spotted by plane" icon etc. First I have to say I don't like them that much at the place where they are right now. A bit more to the right (towards the border of the screen) would be nice. So they have like an area they all can pop up and I can check them but not in the "middle" of the screen. Second the new spotted symbols. They are nice! But if you update them, also update the "spotted by ship" icon, because is is still the same and looks a bit odd now. Everything should have the same visual standard otherwise it looks a bit strange.

    Public Test 0.6.10 - Sound Improvements

    I don't know if I like them, but in the end the more sound effects in this regard the worse because to much of this can give me a headache. So I also wish for a tick-box to deactivate additional sound effects for the ribbons. I can see them popping up, I don't need extra sound feedback for this and I can concentrate more on the real battle sounds!

    1. Description The game froze while loading into the battle. 2. Reproduction steps None - Happened only once while clicking into random battle. 3. Result I had to shut the game down via the task manager, restart it and then it loaded into the battle properly. 4. Expected result The battle should launch without freezing. 5. Technical details None right now.

    Public Test 0.6.10 - New Effects

    I like the new water splash effects, especially on the torpedoes! But the new smoke / gunfire / fire effects are like others before stated a bit wired looking. They seem to have a low frame rate and they move a bit with the ship... all in all it doesn't look that harmonious any more... The quality of the effects doesn't fit the overall game graphic. They look so low quality so maybe think about getting different settings for this one, to make it more volumetric and realistic, so that is fades properly and also stays in place for a while. With such a big effect you also have to look at the motion of a ship. It looks okay if your ship is not moving but if it is moving at full speed this really locks wired. I personally think this needs a rework! Or at least a switch to turn it off and stick with the normal ones until it gets a better quality.
