  1. Hello fellow captains, I want to discuss with you, your suggestions and thoughts about the new skill tree. Since we have some threads about our opinions about the new tree I want to open one for new ideas, lets do some brain storming! I'm really interested in your thoughts! To make it more clear, if you have a new suggestion you want to put in, mark it with Suggestion at the top of your post (makes it more easy to filter them out from comments). If you want to raise your concerns about that suggestion, quote it. Make suggestions in detail, so no "I want this and that to be gone or buffed DOT" I hope to get a nice and structured discussion with a lot of new thoughts. So lets get started!

    Maybe a skill that makes these BBabys jump so they can hop over torps? Or just make them fly so they can shoot everything from above, to get constant citadels

    I will drop this here as well since my thread kind of died I corrected it a bit and dropped rudder shift buff out of it, because there are already 2 modules addressing this. Its not the best solution but at least something and better than RPF! Suggestion I have the following in mind to replace the new RPF skill. Reason why I want to change the skill: I think it can be game breaking especially in the late game. The detailed concerns can be found here: http://forum.worldof...03#entry1533903 I agree pretty much 100% with USS_Trump on this he pretty much nailed it. So I think no further explanation is needed. What I come up with: A skill that gives you a buff on turning circle and speed. We have a lot of modules that can be picked but nothing like this in the captain tree that improves the ship agility. So what do I have in mind? I'm thinking about a skill that lets say improves turning circle by 20% and speed by 10% (just numbers I thought of quick, I did not check if they are too strong, that is something I want to discuss with you in detail.) Maybe make it only work on cruisers, destroyers and carriers to not buff battleships further more or have different numbers for different shipclases to make the impact less on for example battleships. Why do I think it is a good idea: First its something new, we do not have a skill addressing this. Second it would be a 4th row skill so you have to spent a lot of points, that makes it not overpowered imho. It would fit perfectly into the "Versatility" column. The numbers can be changed to make it more fitting. Third it would be a viable choice for example cruisers which have it not that easy in higher tiers, it can lead to cruisers pushing further up front to help destroyers or hunt them. Destroyers like the German ones could benefit as well since they are really sluggish. So what do you think about this? Let me know!
  6. I like your ideas, especially the first one! That 20 seconds on DDs is sometimes really annoying. Could be a good replacement for RPF if you increase the percentage. How about 50%?

    Well it would be also possible to just drop rudder shift out of it. Only buffing speed and turning circle like I also mentioned in the post. You also have to keep in mind that the one module gives 40% on rudder shift, you don't have to combine it with the captain perk if you have the feeling it is just enough. But it makes also a stealth build possible with only the first rudder shift module and the benefit from the perk. More choices, more builds. But you are right, if you combine all three you don't get much value out of it any more, but that is something you don't have to do.

    well with his latest [edited]talk its -1! I liked his captain academy vids but the quality of his videos just dropped down to [edited]... But I guess I'm just a sheep, so don't mind me, I'm out again to get some grass from the fields.

    For his first DD build on US DD as he picked RPF he was thinking about last stand and expert marksman... sorry but I can't take him serious for this! Not even picking last stand from the get go but smoke expert made me sit here in disbelieve. Yes the new skill tree offers a lot of choices but that is his only real reason against this skill. A lot of players do not skill reasonable, so a skill with a potential to ruin the game for you and reduces the skill gap should not even be an option to pick imho. No comment on late game impact or the potential danger that comes from modding this skill to make it even more accurate. I also think that BBs profit a lot more from the new tree than other shipclases. I will start a new topic to make some suggestions what do you think can be done better. I will put the link here then everything is set up.     First I want to thank our CMs as well. I'm glad that this mess is settled out now. But I really hope that for the future something like this will never ever happen again. Please improve the communication with the community. As an example for the weekly missions: Start a poll and ask about their difficulty level, I guess you would get a lot of feedback there. Interact with us, a lot are happy to give some proper feedback. Make this your new years pledge. With this I wish you all a good start tomorrow into the new year.

    Happened to me as well! This needs to be fixed because it is highly annoying and not really dependent. Give us 2 puffs and it would be fine. But I get sometimes 1 sometimes 2 and sometimes even 3 puffs very unpredictably...

    Well I'm not sure if I like it or not. But I like the fact, that if I spot a ship it fades in immediately! Not like before were it pops up on the minimap but it still needs time to render with sometimes not even appearing because it gets unspotted before it was able to render. So I love the new speed of rendering the ships, that feels way more fluent! The fade effect on the other hand is a bit strange.

    Got told today, that this RPF skill is absolutely fine and I must be a mongoloid and a player who needs this skill because I must be crap - I want it to be gone.... yeah, that ... sounds logic I think maybe, just maybe it is the other way around ^^

    No more likes available so Quote with +1! The RPF skill should just be removed because of all the reasons already mentioned in this thread. I also love the game because of surprise attacks and this skill can completely ruin this experience! And don't tell me you have much to sacrifice for it in a BB... All in all the new skill system somehow works and has just some flaws in it with some skills being to expensive for what they do (e.g. torpedo reload on 3) and a lot of crap at one. A little rework would solve this. And again, get rid of RPF, this is something, this game does not need!!

    It is good to hear that something is going on right now! But consider in your plans, that we don't want a special treatment now! We just want the same as the other servers get, for now and for the future! Enough of this discrepancies, stay in contact with the other servers and try to run events coordinated so neither we or any of the other servers will feel disadvantaged ever again.

    Who decides these missions?!?! I mean, this can't be someone who plays the game because the difficulty level is just insane! That's nothing you achieve every single battle even by the standards of a good player. But hey, Christmas Convoy mission were to hard to do! I feel so heavily mucked I have no words for it...

    Mhm ich seh da folgenden Zusammenhang: Missouri wird eingeführt, freispielbar mit Free XP - Eine neue Tirpitz camo erscheint, mit einem 100% boost auf... Free XP - Alle Server bekommen die Möglichkeit, sich diese Camo zu erspielen, auf EU entscheidet man sich dagegen, da man es für unfair hält, Spieler die über die Feiertage nicht so viel Zeit haben die Camo eher nicht erspielen können. - Anstatt eine ZUSÄTLICHE option eines Kaufs einzuführen, wird die Mission ganz gestrichen und die Camo für Geld angeboten. - Auf EU gibt es rein zufällig die meisten Tirpitzbesitzer... Aber hey, man will natürlich nur unser bestes (und das ist wohl unser Geld)

    Woh woh woh WHAT?! Okay, I was reading this in disbelieve, then I came to the marked sentence. Fairly cheaply?!?! 3k doubloons, exact the same amount you have to pay for every T8 prem camo?! I... I... I just don't have the words to describe this without breaking every single forum rule right now... Honestly! I will just say nothing more about this but I'm really shaking in anger. Guess WG EU just spoils us again... Keep your voices up mates, we will not tolerate such an incredible handling with your customers there are a lot of us who have sunk tons of money into the game because they like it! I hope you see the danger you are in right now! After this even I'm thinking about leaving WG EU and I'm a very lazy person. THIS!! You should pay this man actual money because he solved the whole problem in a single simple polite question!! Something I'm only barely able to do right now, being polite!
