Thanks for the advice. I am not a big fun of ships like satsuma. Otherwise I would already have got the Shiklishima. I simply find them lacking in mobility and therefore not really fun to play. So I dont plan to buy it.

Sorry not sure to understand? Which packet (bundle?) I am supposed to buy? I have more 300 million silver. So no reason to get more tobuy the CONDE.

Hello Fellow Commanders, a recent Dev blog has announced the introduction (probably in the second half of the year) of a new Italian Premium Tier VIII CV. The Aquila. The CV is based on an historical project that was started just before the beginning of the war but never completed. According to Dev Blog the ship should carry rocket planes and torpedo bombers. And this triggered my interest. I hope that the torpedo bomber will be the Savoia Marchetti 79. This plane was the real workhorse of the Regia Aeronautica (Italian Air Force) during the war. It was produced until the very end of the conflict and it was used as a scout, as a bomber and as a torpedo bomber . In the latter role it achieved its most relevant success. Not having a CV the Torpedo Bomber Squadron were positioned in Sardinia , Sicily , Tunisa and Lybia. They were under the command of the Regia Marina (and not of the Air Force) which created several problems of coordinations. Nevertheless in this role the plane proved to be very successuful due to the combination of sturdiness of the frame, the 3 engines and the capacity to low level flight. On the negative side was its low manouvrability. Because of this weakeness the Italian Pilots adopted a diffent tactic. When engaging a target they pushed the engine to maximum power and after releasing the 2 Torpedos instead of turnig away from the target they prefered to fly over it, It sound crazy but performing a slow turn and exposing the huge wings would cause the plane to be an easier targt than screaming over the target ship and causing sailosr to panic. In this role the SM 79 proved to be very effective both aginst merchant convoys and military ships. Each plane could carry 2x 450 mm Torpedo therefore the chance to hit a target was good. Below a list of the confiremed ships sunk and / or damaged. No other Italian service has achieved such success during the war. The source for this list is the Italian Wikipedia. Because of this histarical background and heritage I wish that the SM 79 Torpedo Bomber will be the Torpedo Bomber of the new Italian CV. FR 25 another disappointing italian premium Tier VI Leone probably the worst DD at its Tier Tier VIII Roma is a mediocre ship (only saving grace is the special earning if u have the Kobayashi Camo) Tier IX premium BBs are simply BAD. and now the FR 25 which hoinestly I was waiting for. BUT buyers beware, look at you tube before u decide to buy. All CCs (both in english and German) say the same. This ship is not an hibrid is simply a bastard (in the sense it take the worst of both lines Italian and french). Therefore WHY to spend 20 + Euro (as a minimum) to get a BAD ship? Perhaps before introduicing new ships Developers shouyld really TEST them. Good luck with sales.. I suspect this will become the next Makarov in the next Xmas Boxes.

OK first of all I did not intent to disrespect the sacrifice of your brave navy sailors who lost their lifes in the curse of war, fighting against a very superior enemy. Therefore I apologize if you felt offended it was not my intention. Going back to point : Java is a Tier III and De Ruyter a tier IV if I recall correctly. But what about Tier VIII and above? were they real?? This is a game and I dont really mind if and when a new ship is introduced to add more variety to the game. Even when a nation like Netherland, certainly famous for its Navy had few planes and in game they have this increedible gimmick of air superiority (why not giving it to UK or a new US line) . Therefore I dont understand why someone should consider "unacceptable" the introduction of a real plane that was used all along the war even if not on a CV.

So for the same reason the new US CV Hornet should not have B 25?? I think this kind of things mnake the game more interesting., If you stick to the reality than we should cancel half of the tech trees.

but never used in war. Since the beginning I made clear that this is my WISH even if I know it won't happen. The german market is the most important in EU for WG. Thats why we have a full line of CV that were never built and same goes for German BB. The biggest one built in WWII was Bismark and Tirpiz. Still more tier IX and X and now even a super BB . So to put the SM 79 on a cv in a game like this would NOT be a scandal in my opinion.

Never employed in war. Same as the B 25 for the Hornet. We have seen a lot of paper projects and / or adaptation to the game. I dont think my wish is so strange. So I dont really understand your hostility.

Dear friend thanks, I am aware that this was the "project" however the Reggiane 2001 was never employed as a naval bomber. While the SM 79 was extensively used in combat. After all WG introduced the Stuka on german Tier VI CV because of its historical relevance and because people wanted it in the game. So I WISH they will do the same with the SM 79.

Thanks! After all we have a full tree of soviet CV which never exhisted., Whatever plane WG will put on the new coming Aquila it will be a fiction anyway. At least this plane was real and really saw a lot of action.

As you know recently Hornet is coming wiht B 25 bombers. Now aside from the experiment of Doolittle raid the B 25 was also a land based plane. So why not. introducing the SM 79??

You are absolutely right, Nevertheless because the Aquila was never launched and therefore no plane served on a carrier I hope to se this plane in the game..

Dont think so. My game crashed while I was in queu waiting to play my Brindisi in random battles. I would say the problem is with random cause I had no problem playing tier X sub in coop.

OFC it may be another bug. But on regular server we assume all players are form the sdame region (for example EU) . On PTS it is clerly stated beside your name the region. So this could trigger some ... conflicts . But as I say it's my personal opinion. I would more happy to see my penalty canceled. OFC everything is SILENT from WG perspective...

Now I have a 13 Penalty and can play ONLY COOP!! It would be nice to reset all penalties considering this is due to the server crash and disconnection.

My personal opinion so I may be wrong; On regular server you meet only players from same region. On PTS as you know you meet players from NA Asia and Russia. Due to the international situation in the UKR I suspect that chat has been disabled to avoid verbal wars between players.. As I said is my opinion I dont know for fact.

@Seraphice Critical error continue to affect the test server. It's really annoying especially because we also get the sanction foir leaving the game.... Can you do somethjing about it??
