i just recently got the furrytaco I was initially excited to get into the IJN heavy cruisers, I think the main issue people have with this ship is coming from the previous cruiser like the Kuma which are basically enlarged destroyers the furrytaco handles like a three legged pig and the turret traverse speed always catches you by surprise compared to the earlier ones, the reload does not help either, the way to play it I found suits me and it most is to stay at long ranges making long zig zag runs across the mat at about 9-11 km, 3/4 engine speed which increases manoeuvrability slightly while keeping my guns trained in the direction of the enemy while sailing with the main body of the fleet, that way I do not expose myself and I don't get caught alone under concentrated fire, I try to make my zig zags diagonal as well to maximise what little armor I have and reduce my citadel profile then when turning around you use the turn to turn the turrets as well, this is early in the game, later on with less ships kicking about I lone wolf it closing the distance and increasing speed to maximum to make zooming passes launch torpedoes and if I can one or two full broadsides, what I find is the most important thing is patience when playing the ship and simply wait it out, if I find myself outmaneuvered I use the ships speed in a straight line which is still pretty good to get out of range as fast as I can and then come back when my turrets are turned and my guns reloaded
