An automated horn / alarm should become activated, if you are getting too close to sail into another player. Maybe the same way the collision sound, sounds like. As in only you can hear it, and nobody else. Ingame horn everyone can hear you activate, what purpose would that even serve?

Cleveland is my highest tier ship in the entire game. Without the cleveland at its current tier (and counting every single other ships at same tier and below) we dont have any decent AA against enemy planes. The shel ltravel time is a fine nerf. I fear Omaha ships more than I fear Cleveland ships. I hope WG dont mess with Cleveland.

I quite enjoy the New York after I got two days ago. The only thing I dislike is the super x2 slower turret turning speed. Which I think were a little bit quicker on the Wyoming. I only need to unlock the Hull upgrade. But I doubt that will make the turrets turn just a little bit faster.

well I admit I sometimes forget to look at the timer. And I pay the price afterwards. But IMO the timer is just way too small and hidden up there in the upper corner. The timer just blends in and is easily overlooked.

BB's turn really really slowly. It's very hard to turn in time, so close torpedos don't hit ya. You can't always think 20seconds ahead in every situation in a BB, so you can somehow try and manage to dodge the torpedos in super close combat against DD's. Now BBs at least perhaps got a better chance against DD's in super close combat.

Cleveland is fine IMO. The slow hitting shells is a fine tradeoff for better AA. Without Cleveland at its current tier, we wouldnt have any decent AA support against planes.

hmm...well I tryed the "Main Battery Modification 2" but I didnt really see any improvement of the turning speed. Any thoughts on that? I then took "Gun Fire Control System Modification 1" Is that what you people playing battleships are taking too? -

Perhaps just this one here then. It's my first battleship, that allows this range of options. WHat does people take for a battleship here? -
Well...I'm just going to keep my Cleveland. As I think it is kinda insane spending real money so you can get the Atlanta, which is 35 euro, just to get a little bit of better AA. Because my playstyle in my Cleveland is to either support carriers or battleships. And to spend 35 euro for only a little bit of better AA, is just too ridiculous for me.

It will take quite a bit long, before I can research and buy the Cleveland. So untill then I have just rebought the st. louis with a fresh captain as of now. That captain and his skill, will then one day get assigned to the Cleveland. So I dont want to mess things up. 1) Do I need all captain skills from the first techtree besides "Expert rear gunner"? 2) Do I need all captain skills from the second techtree besides "Torpedo Armament expertise"? That will do for now, since it will take quite some time, before I reach the next captain skills techtree.

hmm...so when playing with the Atlanta, you kinda need an aggressive playstyle, to get more xp compared to the free ships? Yeah sure its a premium ship, but you still need to make up for it somehow. If we compare: Cleveland aggressive playstyle, hits alot of targets, gets 100k xp Atlanta staying as escort ship, doesnt see much action. But because its a premium ship, it gets just as much xp as the cleveland did?

So the Atlanta beats the Cleveland when it comes to AA by alot? if we assume both captains have the same commander skills.

Thanks for all help. Now I only need 1 more point, before I can take the Advanced Firing Training. "only" need 53k commander xp :/ But once I have it, my Cleveland will be complete.

My best one, were in my Omaha. Which is my now 2nd highest tier ship. As I unlocked the cleveland +1 week ago. Still, I havent been able to do better than this, in any other of my ships. -
The Atlanta is a beast. In my fully upgraded Cleveland, I somehow got so unlucky, that I got caught in a tag team of 2x Atlanta enemies at 10km range, Their rate of fire quickly took me from my 35k health, down to 3k in a very very short time. Before they got to me, they killed an 100% full hp pensacola in less than 20 seconds.

Awesome. So I have taken that upgrade skill now. Now for the last one here. This upgrade, will only decrease the chance for either one getting destroyed under enemy hits, right?

Dumb question: The Advanced Firing Training and AA Guns Modification 2, one of them wont override the other one? Since they pretty mich does the same thing?

So I just finally unlocked the cleveland after 6 days of hard working. And my commander got: Basic Firing Training, Basics Of Survivability, Expert Marksman, High Alert. Next skill will be Advanced Firing Training. My next issue is for those that currently play Cleveland alot, or have played it alot. Which ones to avoid and best picked. In either case if you know alot about the upgrade stuff.

SomeoneYouKnow: See my picture in #7. That is my current status. But now I have 4 commander skills to spend instead of 3. So its either "High Alert" VS. "Superintendent" And then I have 1 skill point leftover. I am unaware about superintendent's function tho. Once I get to Advanced Firing Training, I won't hesitate to pick it. I cannot redistribute anymore.

Kawachi is no matter how you put it, in a desperate need of some kind of buff. Even dev must be able to see it.

I am curious about superintendent. It increases consumables. But consumable of what? And it is still alot better to take High Alert instead of that superintendent? Also #9 is talking about something called BFT. But what is it? I cannot find it.

I have the ability ro retrain all my skills yes. I am a bit confussed. I have attached two screenshots. One is my current commander I was suppose to assign to when I get my cleveland (the two red circle is the ones I wanted). And the other picture is for you to edit.

Alright. Will get "basic firing traning" then. Do I need any other rank 1 commander skills? Was thinking about "basic of survivability" Then in rank 2, I will take "expert marksman" as you suggest and the other one. But what is the last one AFT? I will mention rank 3, once I get rank 1 and rank 2 cleared out.

Alright. Let's do one step at a time then. "basic firing traning" it gives +10% AA efficiency and -10% reload time for calibers up to 155mm. So the Cleveland is all about the AA. And its secondary guns, would benefit from the -10% reload time? So "basic firing traning" is a must for Cleveland?
