well it makes no sense to experienced player at all. One look at the fleet layout before the fight and u can guess where will those dds go anyway. U need no perk for that. Now for ppl with less games under their keels its a huge help. It does come into play when there is only 1 vs 1 ships at the end game. Say enemy CA left and friendly DD. CA has the perk, DD doesnt. CA knows where to go even without sonar or radar. DD has no idea until the CA is spotted. Then it could be too late. It gives a kind of unsporty advantage which can turn the game around. Lose a won game or win a lost one. Whether u like it or not depends on which side ur team ends up. In general i do not support its introduction but then again if u r skilled enough u realy dont care. U will win the game with or without the perk.

Also got AGS on mission and i actualy love it. Not the best cruiser at tier 6, someone said... well that depends how you use it. She feels like some sort of CA/BB hybrid. I find her not good hunting DDs, ROF is a pain there. I need smaller cal but fast firing to dispatch that DD quickly. But definetly she is a cruiser that handle 1 vs 1 with BBs in a head on clash the best. Last fight i got 1 vs 1 with a Fuso. I just came out of fight with Omaha, Leander and Budyonny while Fuso supported them from distance. Managed to oneshot Omaha but Leander was not an easy target. Took him for 15k hp and had to break the fight cause his friends were hurting me. Dropped to 10k HP and used land to hide and go all the way around them only to pop infront of that Fuso at 8 km. He was at 46k hp. It was too late to run away so i went bow into him. He did 3k dmg per salvo while i was getting 7-10k with a faster reload. He was broadside and i was angled. Put in 2 torps in him and when i got to 3 km i landed 2 citadels and finished him. He got a last salvo good on me but on 3km i didnt expect AGS to bounce. He took me down with him. However i lost 10k hp he lost 46k. AGS at its tier actualy has awesome guns. That Omaha oneshot was not the only one. That was a third time AGS oneshoted poor Omaha, but other cruisers suffer gretly too. Cit hits i scored on all of them, even Cleveland. They take massive damage even when angled but u have to aim real good. Hiting softspots just melts them down. I even landed 11k salvo on tirpitz on a max range and he turned away and ran. LOL. If u can bear the reload pain but enjoy a powerpunch, AGS is boat for you. Craziest cruiser out there. Hits like a BB but armored like a cruiser. A few more knots of speed would make her perfect actualy And a bit more AA, she cant fight planes well. And of ofcourse, premium economy. Makes a ton of silver. TY WG! I love Graf Spee

But in that case they didnt make it work. After playing Gneise i am seriously thinking about getting Scharnhorst. On the other hand, i never had the cravings for Eugen. I did go thru hipper, and paying rl money for a clone doesnt apeal to me. But Scharn.... i just have to try that thing
-
Gneisenau requires a certain play style. As for gun accuracy, i can land a cit per salvo on myoko at 14km. Those 380's are weird guns and it takes a lot of practice to master them. I have a feeling that a bunch of you try to play Gneise like u play Nagato and end up hating it cause u cant get the same results with it. As for me, Gneisenau is the best BB in game. For me. It has all i ever wanted in a BB. Superior armor, strong guns ( not the strongest but strong enough ), good secondaries, torps for instant 25k dmg, and most of all speed. Cruisers fear her, BBs run away to a safe distance, DDs die as soon as they make a single mistake like firing guns at it or getting spoted by a floatplane... I am certain that if the devs gave her better accuracy there would be nothing on a map that could stop that beast. Maybe stealth torping jap DDs could be the only counter. I guarantee that every1 who figured out the right way to play her fell in love with the boat instantly. I have 380+ games with Gneise and i cant get enough of her... But i guess it all comes down to a persons favourite playstyle. I really like coming close and brutalize what ever stands infront me. Iowa or Kirov, makes no difference, within 5 km they all die the same. If u enjoy mid or long range sniping than dont bother with Gneisenau, she is mediocre in that role. If u like to rip apart steel mountains in a knifefight, she will be the love of ur life.

Battleship players: what is your problem? Why won't you tank?
CPL_Sivi replied to Ferry_25's topic in Archive
U r the only one. I take Gneisenau out alot and most kills i score are DDs. Now being a BB i shouldnt be killing dds in a knifefight in a first 5 minutes of a game. I do play Gneise aggresively, i take her to front lines always and i mean always. She is fast but she is not faster than CAs (Graf Spee aside) or DDs so how come i always engage DDs first? I guess cause in the opening stage of the game every1 is reluctant to push. I actualy dont mind my team not following me cause i know Gneise in close range fight will sink just about anything. Even when outnumbered and focused atleast 2 boats will go down before Gneise does. Dont show broadsides and u wont get more than 1 torp per salvo and Gneise can take that. The thing is Gneisenau is one of the rare BBs that reward that kind of play, last 2 games with her were 9 kills and both wins. 4 out of 9 kills were destroyers. When you drop first coupla boats down the rest of the team always kicks in cause they want piece of that action and then victories come almost easy. But i would never try that in USN or Jap BB. Not even in Bismarck. With Gneisenau i can outbrawl even Bismarck. But for what its worth, i never get called a camper But the thing is that coming to engagement should be in this order, DDs come first followed by CAs and the last wave should be BBs. When u see a fleet layout before the fight it looks just like that. First lines are DDs, second line CAs and third BBs. If a BB comes to a fight first it means that DDs and CAs are not doing their job right in the opening stage of the game and that can be crucial. Just like in a chess game, if u dont position your pieces in the opening stage right its a sure loss. Here u lose time to reposition, in a chess game u lose tempo. While u r repositioning u have little or no effect on game, giving enemy time to suppress ur team and gain control of the map. In some cases when u reposition and joined the rest of the fleet u can still win even if u were losing by points and u didnt control the map. But that takes team work and a lot of it. Still those are my favourite victories, they leave such a sweet taste. And u cant help not having that stupid grin when u look at post battle stats. But i still need to find a BB that can safely push no matter the support aside from Gneise/Scharn. To have BBs that close to a front line u need to screen for them. If u dont do that dont blame them for staying in the back. Recently i find even DDs staying back which is apsurd. BB can have an excuse but to use a jap DD with superior camo away from caps and hiding behind land even negating spotting ability thats just mindnumbing. Thats sabotage. U deliberatly want your team to lose. After the battle he should be taken out in the back and shot for treason! So its not only a BB sindrome. Its spread to general population... must be a virus. An airborne one. Yuck! -
When u get citadeled in a cruiser it doesnt mean u made a mistake. U can play CA perfectly and still got citadeled. Its a life of a cruiser. Only way to avoid that is not getting hit. That means keeping at an arms length from a BB which again means u often being behind the front lines, which means u cant hunt DDs with effect... So when in a CA i make peace with my Maker before i sail out and go flank speed ahead. Killing 2 DDs before they land a dev strike on me i consider a good game

Why does everyone hate the New York Class Battleship? :(
CPL_Sivi replied to Battleship_USS_Arizona's topic in Battleships
Well stock New Mex might feel different than upped NY but as far as i remember New Mex was the best BB in that line up to NC. Much better than NY. It was 4X3 turret assembly that made it work for me. Back in the day it was just murdereous. Fuso had to keep at 20km+ from that thing in order to live. Ofcourse GE BB was still on the sketchboard then so New Mex had easier competition but i think it could rule the waves even with Bayern around. The only pain i had with that line was Lolorado. Gives me the creeps when i remember those days.... -
Well the ships are not intended to be exact RL replicas. Some actualy are but if u make them all exactly like in RL the game would lose diversity, also u wouldnt have ships like FDG and GK or Hindenburg since they never sailed. Its not a bad thing to make Sharn and Gneise different. Otherwise there is no point in having 2 clones with only difference one being premium and one a standard ship. I think this way WG made it work, Sharn is selling good, Gneise is powerful enough even with reduced number of barrels and altho very similar there is enough difference between them that makes u wanna have both of them

Hardly wait to get the fiji. I have Leander now and it comes a bit dissapointing after that crazy emerald. Main complain is crippled torp power on which i relied very much with emerald. 4 torps per side is weak for my gameplay. Guns are much better than Emmy but i miss my torps so much it doesnt compensate. Guess i will have to go in guns blazing with Leander which i kinda avoided on early tiers cause of long range instant death from a bb. I do hope they fixed torps with Fiji. Otherwise i kinda enjoy new line. Its different, refreshing and fun when u have just a bit of RNG luck to avoid getting cited. And i am generaly Kriegsmarine fan.
-
I dont exactly understand Emerald trashing in earlier posts and i seem to be a minority here. Danae was a hard grind but i find emerald much more playable than danae. My stats are not amazing at all but i manage to play that ship effectivly in more than 50% of fights. 52% to be exact. She kills BBs, DDs and CAs. I just have 20 something games with it but it shows a lot of promise. Just last game i found myself badly out of position vs 3 enemy ships. Myoko Colorado and Nurny came all after me seeing an easy kill i guess. Popped smoke and waited them out, Colorado i saw first and let him come to 3km and then i dashed forward already switched to torps. Sailed right between them launching starboard side at Colo, port at Myoko and firing guns at Nurn. 16 torps launched and 11 hits killing both tier7s and sustaining 15k dmg myself. Myoko did it, colo never had a chance tracking me. Kept firing guns at nurn but his single shell killed my engines and i was left dead in a watter. A bit of luck on his part. He torped me but i got 15k dmg on him aswell and got his engines too. My teammates finished him off but emerald actualy broke entire flank, cleared a path for a dd to brake behind enemy lines killing CV and a BB and the game was over. 85k dmg in 60 seconds of actual fighting. Not many cruisers can do that. The way i play this thing is actualy like a torp platform. I use guns only when my tubes are reloading or if i have a soft broadside target. Keeping outta sight to survive long enough to deliver torp runs. 8 torps per side is Hindenburg strong, u can oneshot any t7 BB at full HP just dont launch them too early. Even Colo with OP torp protection sinks if u hit him well. Nagato i also oneshoted the game before that. Smoke is great asset when u have no land cover. Just use it smart. I also got deleted in emerald more than once from salvos accross the map but it was my fault not ships. Every time i was in tunnel vision chasing dds away and got instakilled. But if she can take on two tier7 boats and not just win it but survive to tell the tale i must call her a good ship. No matter what other ppl say. I did notice that all of complaints come about her guns. I guess that those ppl dont use much torps because they are "situational" weapons or "defense" weapons. By the angles of the tubes u can conclude that they are designed as attack weapons. Use them that way. Dont go suicide, but choose the time of attack, make enemy play under ur terms and Emerald can realy shine.

T6 and T7 are bad but Fubuki makes up for all the pain. Those were worth the grind. 5.5 camo and 10 km torps, cant get stealthier than that. I just dont think u gonna make it before split. And noone knows what lays ahead after.
-
I really love this little thing. Camo is not a strong side but I am aiming at ce at 5th so that should be improved. Made me a ton of silver. Good battle is 100k easy. And at tier 3 fights dont last too long. So far I am loving it.
-
The way i see it aiming at the narrow strip of the bow where 25mm armor is and hitting the same are 2 different things. I realy dont remember anygame where Colo managed to hit my upper bow unless when it was too late. When they managed to hit it that means that i was angled enough and torps are already in the watter. Usualy game ends quickly after that. Now at a distance fight, say 10km to 15km u realy think its easier to hit narrow strip of 25 mm armor on the angled Gneises bow or go for that big chunk of structure amidships where u can deal same amount of dmg? i dunno, but when i rebuy colo i will try both but i feel i will just do better at structure cause those are sure hits, bow is very much a gamble and i dont wanna gamble with Gneise.

I wouldnt call Yorck an HE spammer. Her strong side is AP but they are very slow. Viable against slow or straight running targets. Yeah, u can still find those. When those things land they hit like a truck. I actualy like to take her under 10km of any cruiser and as soon as i see them starting a turn switch to AP and quickly put them out. But she is so much different ship than anything else in her line. I struggled a looooooong time to get her right and finaly did, so now i do keep distance and combine HE and AP depending on the target but when the enemy force thins down i take her into a brawl even with nagato and colorado. Not so much vs NC or Iowa unless i have 20k HP to spare and i am able to oneshot them with 6 torps. But things like new mex fuso and such are realy easy targets to brawl in 1 vs 1. And realy she shines in DD hunts with hydro, saved a bunch of games chasing those damn things out of caps. Anyway u put a strong fight with it there and timed switching HE-AP perfectly. Something it took me ages to figure out. Almost started hating the damn thing. In the end she was the only boat i kept for fun games And even today i find myokos who underestimate the power of yorck and rush in close range to fight it out with guns. LOL! Once you figure out the shells yorck is actualy a great boat.

Nice writting. Colo is an odd ship. When the situation favours u she can brake the game no matter what tier r u against. But when the fortune looks the other way she will die maybe even quicker than her t7 rivals. Good thing about her speed, or lack of it, is that she will not face dds in the first 1/3 of the game so u can actualy go for raping soft targets without worries that u will eat half dozen torps. On the other hand she has very little to offer against dds. But as u said, keep angled and fight midrange she will shine. U can brawl anything that doesnt have torps and u will win (maybe not an Iowa but u know what i mean). However in knifefights Colorado can get citadeled. I just did it today with gneise. Altho inferior gunwise, Gneisenau and even Bayern can get a cithit when close enough. The way i understood when i played Colo 10-13 km is a sweet spot for causing massive damage and taking very little in return. Just make sure that u hit those targets cause once u engage in a fight u cant run away. U must make those shots count. And never wander too far from your escorts.
-
I couldnt agree more. Gunnery is actualy a weak point for Gneisenau when compared to any other T7 BB. Just few hrs ago i charged down a Colorado and went for torp run with his bow on me, launched at some 1.5 km and got 2 hits with 3rd missing in inches. If i waited 1 sec more all 3 would go in even bow on. So Colo altho being very agile for a BB cant fit between torp lanes. He did a solid broadside salvo on me as i passed but when i returned he took all 6 shots with a cit hit. That was the end of him and i still had 20k hp to go on with. Took out 2 of his ca escorts as well and an ambushing Leningrad. It wasnt actualy the greatnes of gneise that won that fight but a very bad coordination on the other team. No focus fire, cleveland using ap on me hitting belt all the time, aoba just ran away and leningrad launching his torps on my stern. But still 1 vs 4 on the flank and when it was all done i had 4 kills, 125k dmg, 20k hp and sipped my beer while taking easy caps. So when u ppl sail in Colo and u see gneisenau coming at you u realy need to have ur stern at him before the distance drops below 10km. Keep angled and hit the superstructure to cause pain.Even the most persistant chaser will brake off attack after the 3rd salvo. U try to pull anything else its gonna be a short fight.

I might as well try a redo on Lolo. I had some fantastic games but in general i failed with it. Think i even know where the problem was so as soon as i grind enough silver with that crazy Campbeltown i will give it another shot. Might even work now when i know how to counter those cheeky Krauts. Will check the guide too, i like to keep an open mind about new ideas. Yes i met a bunch of ppl who dont quite get the term "aggressive". They tend to mix it with "suicide". I had a few games where that beauty just dragged me into fight that i had no chance of winning. So u do have to be somewhat careful. However, when i do engage any BB in 1 vs 1 i will bet my bike....errrr...my wife, i will bet my wife there is no way u can dodge my torps. Even if u manage to get bow on i will get minimum 2 torps in the first run. Most probably all 3 cause i will wait for broadside angle after i pass ur bow. With just 2 or 3 working brain cells u actualy cant miss. When u get more then 300 fights with yorck u brush up those halfkamikaze torp runs. Even tirpitz was a regural customer when caught alone.
-
I could agree to a point here. Launch wide spread at max distance and Lolo will dance between torp lanes. Only ppl with little experience in torp fights will do that. I usually keep my bow on Lolo all the way, hitting with guns on uper structure until i close the distance. Launch from close range, tight spread even if i miss the marker all 3 torps will hit. They wont oneshot full hp lolo but with a few hits to structure i can cut 10k down and secondaries will set a fire or 2. Hit dcp too early and floods will finish her, best case scenario Lolo has 10k hp when i align my stern for a second torp run and thats it. In a brawl i give very little chance that Lolo will emerge victorius. Given both skippers are equaly skilled. I am at NC now and i realy cant remember Lolorado ever being a sniper. It could be me, but i could never hit shots that i managed with NM and now with NC. Even with Gneise which has terrible spread i can land more reliable hits at mid or even long ranges. As i said, maybe i just extra sucked with Lolorado but i hear a lot of others complaining about accuracy. NC feels like a dream after that nightmare. Not saying Lolo is a bad ship, she has her strong sides but i just dont think its enough to overcome an agressive Gneise player with some brains.

To "Iowa" or not to "Iowa" that is the question...
CPL_Sivi replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in Battleships
I unlocked iowa but decided i am not gonna buy her. I will end my USN BBs line at NC. A week ago i wrecked iowa with NC and got her from full hp to a fishbed in 2 salvos. The skipper did make a mistake and sailed from behind an island full broadside at 10 km. To make things worse when he saw me he started to brake and go reverse back behind island, and that takes time.2 salvos 5 cits. But NC is very dangerous boat and she will do the same to anything that goes broadside on her. So that fight i didnt take against the boat, it was pure human error. But yesterday i deleted iowa with gneisenau which realy left me speechless. Dev strike with main battery. As usual i found myself alone on the left flank, all team went mid and right. I met iowa at 20km and he started pounding. He had 2 cruisers in tow so i decided to find some land turn and run. I hate doing that in Gneise but sometimes u realy dont have a choice. He chased after me pounding all the time, so i went back kept angled and actualy ran from cap a to cap c with him chasing me. Noone ever bothered to engage him. I ran so far back that unwillingly i led him to our CV. He shifted fire so i msgd CV to run at full power behind me and i will go banzai on him to save his butt. i turned 180 degrees, cv sprinted behind my stern to safety and i started shooting at his superstructure to make him focus me instead of cv. I barely scratched any paint and knew i was toast so i tried to ram him. In return he did 8k dmg to my bow in 3 salvos, so i still had 20k hp when i came to 2 km of him. He realized i am going to ram so he shifted course and left his side open. 1 salvo, 6 hits 5 citadels dev strike. My lower jaw hit the keyboard. Now if Gneisenau (she is realy a great ship, but she is 2 tiers lower) can survive everything iowa has to offer, come to fistfight range and hit 50k+ dmg in a single salvo i really think that something is wrong with the boat. That skipper was not bad at all, he did everything right, all my shots bounced or hit 3k max dmg for the entire game until i was forced to rush him in order to save a tier 9 CV. He realy had no choice but to dodge my ram and open his side. And got so brutaly punished that i decided not to get that thing. No tier 7 noob is gonna do that to me. No Sir! That thing is actualy helpless if anything comes close range so all u can do is hug border and snipe. And i hate that. If i was in NC i would realy understand because she packs a heavy punch and is able to wreck anything (outbrawled a yamato in few occasions) but Gneise has weakest guns of all t7 BBs, both Trolorado and Nagato outgun her, and still Iowa gets deleted like it was never there. It just feels so wrong. I am happy for my KM girl that she can slap a t9 BB around like that but still it feels just wrong.- 78 replies

I did played NM a long while ago, before KM BBs came so competition was easier, but from what i remember New Mex could wreck anything anytime. Oneshoted DDs a bunch of times, Fuso was no match except at 20 km and even then i could land cit hits on that poor thing when i got the spotter plane up. I played Bayern lately and comparing it with NM from my memory i have to say that Bayern would lose 1v1 with equaly skilled skippers. Those 8 X 380s cant match 12 X 356s in a brawl. At distance i remember new mex having awesome accuracy while bayern realy has an issue there. Gneis vs Lolo? Since i play Gneis atm i would definetly advise against brawl in Lolo. Lolo is a great brawler, thats true, but within 6km it will take 25k dmg in a single torp salvo and if that gneis skipper is any good he will unmask the other torp battery while u r still repairing dmg from first salvo. And launch the second one from 2 km which will be the end of Lolo. And just a combo of torps and secondaries will be enough, without ever using main armament. Lolo should never let Gneis come under 12km in order to win. At those distances stronger guns and better accuracy will force any Gneis skipper to disengage which is almost as good as sinking it. Problem is if Lolo doesnt turn on time, Gneis will cut the distance fast as a lightning. And since Lolo cant outrun it she will be in a very bad spot very fast. For those reasons i would bet on Gneis against Lolo anytime.

I play cruisers alot. Altho most ppl are correct with their advices there is a little catch. Hiding option is not viable in some cases. First of all make a note what are you up against before the fight. If u sail a tier 6-7-8 cruisers check to see if there is North Carolina on the other team. Why? Because i hit cruisers with my NC behind the island. Last one was Baltimore, Full salvo, 3 shells hit the deck and 2 were citadels. Lost 30k HP in a second. High arcs on those shells is a beautiful thing. Second problem is that hiding cruisers often overstay their welcome in that island port. Stay hiden for a minute too long and u leave ur BBs exposed to enemy DDs. If u loose BBS before enemy does, the battle is lost. Your dds will fall down to enemy cruisers cause there are no BBs to quickly put them down, u will not be able to engage dds cause their BBs will put you down, and in the end you will save ur stats in Kill to Death ratio but you will lose game. Losing game also means losing XP and losing credit. In the last 20 days or so i often see cruisers just hiding entire game. If i sail with a DD i dont care much because i can take on any type of ship as long as i am not spotted. If i sail with a BB i know i will have to brawl DDs. With Gneisenau its not that much of a problem because she is fast, very powerful and can dodge 4 out of 5 torps. She will dodge all 5 if i spot them on time. North Carolina similar thing, she will oneshot any DD at tier 8 or below. But the thing is that those huge ships were not designed to fight DDs. Altho those 2 BBs will win close range brawl against a spotted dd they will probably also take damage. If they take too much damage early in the game efectively they are out of the fight completely or for the next 5-6 minutes until they spend 2 heal packs. So its not a good idea to brawl DDs with BBs even when u can win. In my opinion safest way to play the cruisers is to be on a constant move with one eye always at that "incoming" indicator. Stay hidden u can and u will be hit by any BB with mortar shells, keep moving u can dodge as soon as incoming lits up. Keep moving u can fight dds. Safety actualy lies in movement and u have impact on a game. And dont be afraid to die for the greater good. Just make sure to take out atleast one ship with you and put up a good fight. No one will blame you even if the game is lost because u did ur part well. Make no mistake, cruisers are the hardest of all lines. Atleast for me. BBs and DDs are so much easier to play.

I found konig to be probably the best ge bb up to gneise. I didnt have problems with ap at all. Actualy i found them excellent. I think i never fired a single HE shell. When BB angles me i just shift fire to superstructure and still do heavy dmg even with no cit hits. In the proces i always go in closer to push for a juicy shot at the broadside. But that thing was able to wreck a tier 7 BB if it made a single mistake. With those hight tiers u do have to be patient and try to jump at them when they are busy with someone else. Full salvo hit on any bb broadside will just melt them. Made a mistake myself in gneisenau opening my broadside to a konig while i was fighting scharnhorst. Fella landed 25k shot to my broadside. I went into corner of my room and played tetris for the rest of the day too ashamed to load wows again. On the serious note, konig is a very very dangerous boat. Dont ever underestimate it.
-
Very true. Last game i saw tirp the poor fellow had 560 games overall and 170 of them in torpitz. 16 kills in those 170 fights. Regular BBs he was at wyoming. Thats the perfect example how NOT to play the game. I have 100+ games in gneisenau and i am almost sure i could get the tirpitz now. Finished NC and japs i dropped at fuso. After new mex fuso realy left bad taste in my mouth. All in all i put more fights in bbs than that guy overall. Scharnhorst has similar problem. Young guns buying those ships too early and thinking that the boat will fight by itself. It makes WG good business but its very bad way to learn how to play the game. In the end entire team suffers cause they have to pick up the slack and thats not easy on t8. I would suggest to all new ppl not to play premiums until they grinded atleast one line of ships to the same tier. Buy them as much as you want but use them only in coop until u r experienced enough to go into randoms with them. U will save a lot of nerves to other people and avoid flaming as "report that tirp newb" or "l2p u son of a *caugh* before u launch another f*caugh* torpedo in the f*caugh* watter"... I been there kids, i know what im talkin about

And today again. With yorck this time. Land of fire... Just amazing. Spawned south and went for b cap, 2 of 3 enemy dds went the same way, saw them smoke and closed in. Lit them up with hydro and had to dodge 3 torp salvos from behind me plus fubuki torp wall coming from the bow, never had a chance to start shooting at them. Wiggled my way out and went to c cap. Scharn just killed 2 teammates there so went to reinforce, closed in to him and zigzaged all the way to dodge his shots. 3 times friendly blyska rammed me while doing that. Finaly got inside 4 km and shot port tubes and killed him only to realize that the same blyska shot his torps from behind me, tried to brake and turn for the 4th time to avoid friendly torps and got hit cause it was too close... On the good side he did say he was sorry but he was so sure that it was my fault... i went into his torp lane. I rammed him 3 times. With a ship bigger slower and less manoverable than his. I just dont get it. I used to be cool and polite in these situations but i fear the next time i see friendly torps coming from behind me i will retaliate. With force. Send half a dozen their way and let them think about it for a minute.

Well first thing i got for gneise is aiming mod and rudder shift module. Guns felt just too weird for me without aiming mod. Then i noticed i got my turrets knocked out quite often so i got primary armament mod, to increase survivability of guns. I realy cant remember the forth one but when i load the game next time i will check. However i didnt used freexp to get the gneise, i grinded thru bayern all the way. I used the freexp to upgrade hull on gneise asap. Also i boosted AA with perks and i will go manual fire for secondaries on 5th. Altho lower range than bismarcks i got 10 kills with secondaries in 70 battles and they have awful spread. I imagine that 5th perk is gonna make it even deadlier brawler. Altho very challenging boat i realy love the gneisenau. Best t7 BB imho. The only real competition it has in sister Scharnhorst. When a smart skipper sail it i realy like to avoid that thing.
