That DD player was thick as mince. All he had to do. 1) Was torp rush you. 2) Or cap behind the island then torp rush you Was he a 30-40% WR by any chance?

KIDD any day of the week if it's One vs One DD's with RPF. Too much HP to chew through and great guns to work with. Only if you eat a torp will you really lose. Hydro runs out eventually and that is when the enemy DD dies. The loyang have laughable HP. And against a CV, even the KIDD with the best AA for a DD pound for pound will do NOTHING against a CV. Not enough to stay alive anyway. An Enterprise will just outright kill it.

That one was obvious but still people in this forum couldn't see it for what it was. WG are being upfront and honest with this one, which i actually admire but for the wrong reasons. Most of these forum members now are quite happy to lay on the floor and continued to get kicked in the head. Like they have excepted that high tier matches are Crap anyway so what difference does it really make? There is no fight left in anyone. I think it might be time to call it quits on this forum after so long. Time for the careless generation who excepts anything thrown at them to carry on. Thanks. We shall see. It all depends on the surrounding factors you guys will impose (points, time, size of map, ect...). That will be the rub. You limit the map size, you limit the CV capability and concealment in general.

Good way for WG to get people playing this rework CV though And at tier 8 no less (3 premium CV's, what is the odds) When all players that have a tier 8 CV or haven't brought one have ranked out, then it will come down to DD's. Clever from WG to be honest, commercially clever. Well, as it is sprint ranked it's not too bad and i have always treated it as fun. Good players will breeze it. Completely breeze it.

Tier 9-10 is ruined already. And now they have opened the flood gates completely with tier 10 premium you can buy out right???? That is appalling. Completely appalling. Never thought i would see the day. There is no tier at all where you can meet "better players". That is gone never to return. Yes they need to make money, of course they do. But god sake, lets have some sacred ground? A tier where you have earned the right to get to. Now tier 10 is filled with dross, complete dross.

It all depends if it Mirrored MM or not. @MrConway any more info? It's certainly different and I have to give you that, i'm gonna reserve judgement at the moment but it sounds increasingly boring. Unicums/good players will easily get to ranked 1 with the ships. However, if it is mirrored my gut instinct is there are some REAL STAND OUT SHIPS that will completely own their enemy. Don't make the gap between those that do and those don't even bigger than it already is!! Enterprise and KIDD? It if isn't mirrored then dear god are their some classes that will simply own the enemy (*cough* CV *cough* DD). Saying all this, it's ranked SPRINT so it's always a bit of fun anyway i suppose.

Mate, i can see more German BB captains staying at max range. I can see it now and it's making me feel uncomfortable.

But we don't want to encourage it! Far too much of that at the most. But considering most BB's are doing it anyway (because they have to *debatable*) it's not fair for German BB's to lose out so... I think this can go either way, so gonna see with this one.

German BB's Hummm......I'm glad, but worried about the impact. Better dispersion means more German BB captains will wanna stay at the back more. Not good for a tanking ship. Have to see but on first glance, it's good (i think). 40's radar is yeah, nice. But the range of the radar is easy to work around for a dd Captain unless surprised.

Precisely, you have the immediate advantage regardless of what he does. He rushes you? Great, now he is even close to your team whilst your lighting him up like Christmas tree. You then see what he is made of but most players, MOST players will try and leg it. And some ships really arnt good at legging it quick and sustain massive damage when broadside (think daring AP). As you know, you look at the load up screen and you act accordingly. You automatically know what minimum concealment you are facing and what "gimmicks" you are playing against. I would enter the cap differently if the enemy is a Z-52 then i would if he was a kaba or Friesland for example. But either way, i would still be playing around the caps.

Believe it or not, you can take a cap from the enemy DD without even firing a shot. Not a shot..... The moment they get spotted, most players flap and start to go into orbit showing lovely broadside. And a DD that is spotted is going to have every gun on the map shooting it. You don't need to kill enemy DD's to get caps, you need them to think twice for doing it. Killing them is of course great, but it's not the MAIN focus of grabbing the cap. Capping it is. Alot of it comes down to guts. Not stupid blind guts but calculated risk kinda guts. You see 2 div's made up of 1 X Daring and 1 x Smol/Des then you can kinda guess what their tactics is going to be, so prepare for it. You see the enemy team DD's made up of Kaba's and Harr's, you kinda know what Spam/HE business they are going to be doing, so prepare for it and nick the caps. Cheesy as anything, but knowledge really is power. knowledge of the enemy ships, the Div's, the locations at any given time, it all adds up with your brain coming to it's conclusions. The truly great players *unicums are the ones that can input all this knowledge and use it correctly. The not so good players disregard this information and play the same old way regardless of what is in front of them and what ship they sail. Now it's a game so constantly being on "brain" mode isn't some peoples ideas of a fun and relaxing experience and that's cool. But knowledge is the main factor. Me? Getting old and my reflexes aren't what they used to be. I have a busy and "Brain" tasking job already as well as a family, so i don't wanna turn games into another job, just to have fun and not get stressed. But you can have fun, gain the knowledge required to be "good" and the drive to win all at the same time.
