It's a shame though that the line, as it sounds, only gets "good" at tier 8? In any other line there has always been 1 or 2 good ships up till tier 8. Not found one so for in this one, like i have already stated, below infact. And how wrong is it having a premium captain to make a line work? Thanks though mate.

Nice one OP....No one should ever be verbally abused in this game. However.....You have to have thick skin when playing this ship because of the stigma attached to it. To many, that ship imbues everything wrong with WG (for the right reasons) and you, in buying that, has basically enforced that point and will help WG continuity develop the same kinda crap. So in "buying" that ship, you have to expect some back-lash from the playerbase and must have a thick skin. The PR has turned into a protest and there is always 2 sides to one.

Some people just don't wanna know and are blissfully unaware mate. There is one of them.

I would still pick other ships over it and even tier 5 ones. Personally i hate it. But i respect yours. Great, cant wait for the Zara. I have been warned so.....Maybe free xp it to save me the hassle? In fact no, i wanna give it a try and see what it really is like. Tier 7 is good BB and DD territory and don't play hardly any cruisers at that tier so it's going to be extra painful. Which i can see and looking forward to, hence the grind in the first place. I don't think I would even want the stigma attached to the PR in battles. Already seen the chat like the Enterprise. But at least the Enterprise was an upfront sale. I would love the PR too, as i like US cruiser and the Alaska (even though i know it's not better). But no matter how much i would like the ship, there is no way i would get involved with this mess and the stigma attached to it.

Agree. I too and a few that are left have played this game from the very start and like your wife and son, many have left since. Even this forum has like 10% left i remember. WOWS started very very promising and many (like me) gave it a fresh chance coming from WOT which was starting to turn ugly fast. The share holders started to really get involved. And this is someone who used to go the TANK FEST at bovington with the kids and brought loads of model kits for the kids. It was only a matter of time it happened to WOWS and it hit a while ago now. Certain well know WG people have been dishonest, up-front lying and pumping propaganda into this forum with some of the most absurd apologises ever. Then you have the members on this forum defend WG without reason or cause even if the evidence suggests otherwise. And i mean, ALWAYS defending WG even through the bomb shell of the PR. I'm sure they love the "free" stuff they get. They then try to beat the flames out with a fuel soaked rag and things like the PR has highlighted it all. With the usual suspects saying some stupid stuff regarding unemployed and people with health issues! The game is full of mods and aim bots hacks. Just GOOGLE it and there you go, easy. Hell-bent on the #statgeneration and lack and moral fibre? Get a hack. *sigh* Look at all the good stuff we used to write in this forum. Look at all the praise we used to give WG in this forum and all the good things they did. They have done some great work and not everyone obviously is corporation evil, but those days have gone. The Shareholder wanna see high bars and they are the ones running the show. What is the point giving advice when your like "just get the Smol or Grad and do this and that" or "buy a CV and farm damage no worries, no don't worry about tactics, just sink that ship". However, most people simply don't give a dame. The young don't really care about all this stuff, it's a part of their culture now with things like EA. Loot boxes should be band completely, it's gambling and considering the game is labled pegi 7? The GZ was a cluster when that came out because money ruled the roost and shareholders were getting hungry. Bring out an unfinished product, bloody shameful. We now have a tier 10 ships you can buy, called it and knew it, was only a matter of time and never believed all the crap WG said about the contrary. This PR was miss-sold, prayed on the weak or those that actually thought the grind was "not too bad" initially when on youtube. I am not against spending money on games and i have spent my fair share on this one too. But since the rework i haven't spent a penny and after this? Not a chance. Unless you are completely happy with the direction of a game and the company you are giving money then go spend that money on doing stuff and living. Or having something in your hand that is tangible and sell-able. Who i'm I to tell people how they wish to spend there money? No one. But anyone who spends money on this game, when they arnt happy, is actively encouraging WG to do stuff stuff like this to appease the shareholders. They are hypocrites, but we live in a world where you can't see peoples faces and what we say doesn't mean squat if you do the contrary, as noone will ever know will they? WG do not know how to live within their means. but like i said most couldn't give a monkeys and the money wheel turns.

It's awful mate. 152mm with 14.3 reload???? It's horrendous when i'm wacking these 10 to a penny with 203 Exter shells. The tier 6 which i refuse to leave alone until i can see some glimpse of hope in the ship is simply painful. You have no pulling power. No way of getting to places due to your god awful concealment which is more then a WARSPITE! You cant flank without being seen, you cant move in more than 12.7 to a DD before being spotted and when you do, hitting said DD at that range requires a 14 km lead. If you get up tiered is just.....yeah It's takes you a whole game to take down one BB. A whole game. BB's hit you for massive damage, your turrets are so slow and we all know about the reload. The only thing that is good, and this is scrapping the barrel is the torps (which are long range for that tier) and creeping smoke to GET you to a position or retreat. Where other ships can just sail their with low concealment, the Tento needs bloody smoke to get you there. SAP on DD's when they are surprised hurt like hell, no doubt. But that is more of the enemy screwing up then the ship playing well. If this was a good line so far, i would be singing it's praise like i have done with many lines. It's the worst. However, Tier 7 looks promising i suppose. P.S Spoke to most the guys in the clan regarding the Italian ships and they laughed when i told them about the grind. They ALL said don't even draw an opinion until at least tier 7 (and many didn't like that too). But they said it was the first one that is at least usable. Believe what you want lads.

Not in the slightest...Not at all and went into SAP with a complete open mind like I do in any ship. It's deadly against DD's and some good damage against top half of cruiser sides. But im talking about the ships and so far and they are tonk, rubbish. If I wanted a flanking ship then I would pick a French cruiser, sooo much better at it.

Oh and that is so publicised. 3/4 of the players dont even know they exist.

Don't worry, try and beat 12 days I got over the PR bomb shell (to keep me away from commenting) for one harmless picture which told the hard truth. Like you, prob get it for saying this too i suppose. Or some WG fan boy will rat me out, either way. There not massive fans of freedom of speech this WG lot. Never really have been. but i still play the game and always try and say, like most of us do, what we believe is best for the game. They can never stop that. I can see why people use REDDIT.

I would be over the moon if i had players with 52% WR. That is a good WG now, trust me. 13,450 games with a 43% isnt. Then you have a team full of them (11 players, not a single one of them above 50%). No OP ship in the world, even me in the Kaga on RTS could drag a team like that to a win with 6 kills now-a-days. What i wouldn't give to have 50% in my team. Really. I cant do solo games now. Far too much dragging required when they don't even deserve it.

Algerie is a good ship and the Nurmberg was (before the nurf hammer) one of my fav ships. Although the Algerie wasn't a keeper for me.

And i'll leave it at this. I would much rather play the Aoba, Nurnberg, Graf Spee (you mad) and Duca more then the Trento. Although i will give you the Pens because that is plain awful. Not to mention all the other tier 5 cruisers i have over the Trento (not the tier 5 Italian one those because it's even worse, like you have stated). Tier 4, 5 and 6 are poor ships that IMHO needs buffs. Fast and turns quick doesn't hold a candle to bad armour, very bad concealment, Floaty shells, no fires and SAP that rely on soft targets (when you have dreadnoughts at low teirs, lol). Not the mention the best one like an awful reload with only 8 guns. I will get back to you regarding the tier 7 ones, as i don't have them yet (tonight i will). However, their stats (thank god) do look encouraging with the WG stats not in the bottom 3-4 like the other 4 ones do. Having 4 ships in the bottom 4 isn't a sign of a good line. The tier 4 one is actually rock bottom. Rock bottom for a new ship line.Wow. Normally you have a bad one, then a decent one then a good one and so on (like the IJN, French, Russian, RN, German lines) but not the Italians. All their low tier ships are close to the bottom.

And there is the rub. There isn't regarding warships. if there was, i am sure that 3/4 of this forum would leave this company (with an appalling reputation) and it's game and join the new one. WG has totally monopolised this. Plus WG hasn't done it in 5 years. They wont now.

Lol. I have seen people in Ernest fire torps 16 km away with 8 km torps at a stationary target.

The horse has already bolted. Nothing WG can do to drag it back. What they should have done is an introduction that cant be skipped. Examples of targets and ammo type, angling benefits and what sort of ships do what, including the use of a map. Then there is no excuses. But considering they never did it on the hardest class to master back then (RTS) CV's, i'm sure they wont with other classes. One of the reasons there was sooo many bad RST CV players. WG gave them nothing to go off. Anyway, the skill of the player base is now the lowest it has ever been since Beta. it's shocking and we gotta live with it.

Mate, oh so did I. But things have changed alot. The risk and team support is all taken out of it now. Just the way it is. They wanted CV's to be easy mode to bring more CV players into the game (which they have). If players lost buckets of planes like they used to with few reserves then these kinda people wouldn't play them. So they HAD to make it easier for people to play. And here we are. You will always hit something regardless of AA, even if you only get one run (before a single ship could wipe 3 wings out). Only if 3 ships are close to eachother then the Planes might not get a look in and die before the drop, depending on the type of plane and how much defensive AA is going on. Fully active AA build Des and enemy CV's can still get 2 drops on me. With Enterprise AP bombs that's deadly, never mind tier 10 Haka ones. Again, that's just the way it is.

Oh i know it will be worth the high tier ones, because i certainly wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't.

Are you being sarcastic? My radar is a little off today. I presume you are as you haven't even played 2 of the three 3 ships i am on about.

I will have the Gorizia by the end of the day (for free). So will see. The thing is i know how strong and good the tier 10 ship is (plenty in our clan) and many have said how good the tier 8 and 9 is too. but they all warned me not to judge the Italian line on the first 7 tiers. I really agree with them and can see why they said it. Hence why i felt compiled to point out how, IMHO, bad they were (with there low stats and ratings to back up the claims). But i understand that you personally might have enjoyed them. I think they need a buff.
