Are you playing the same game as the rest of us? Like it does now?? Old RST style Or you press that magic button and all your planes evaporate, puff. New No such luck. They are still buzzing over your head doing multiple runs. Don't lie to yourself lads. The old RST was easy for most fleet captain at the moment. You have more than enough AA and gimmicks to make a CV players life hard. Now you have something that is gonna cause so much salt i don't think i wanna be apart of it. Being a CV player, Cruiser Player and Battleship player, including the new CV rework, believe me when i say what you have now (RTS) was completely and utterly manageable. I never had any problems with any CV I faced. There are so many ships with good/great AA. Just look at the new German BB? Sum this up for you: Atlanta: All your planes gone Des: All your planes gone Buffallo: All your planes gone: Hood: Most of your planes gone Kidd: Most of your planes gone if not all Cleveland: All of your planes gone DOY: All of your planes gone KII: Most of your planes gone Kuts: Most of your planes gone Woster: All of your planes gone Seattle: All of your planes gone Hipper: Most of your planes gone Hindy: All of your planes gone Atargo: Most of your planes gone Ect....Ect.... Not including the panic dropping (wider cone) for those that do manage to get through. None of that anymore And that above list ONLY included some of the defensive AA cruisers currently knocking around. Not even including Battleships that don't have defensive AA but can put up alot of AA like the Monty, Alabama, Gne, Massa, Lion, Conq, Republic, Alsare. Look at the Mino with manual AA??? Seen my plane count in my Alabama? not bad for a simple BB is it? But all of that is currently not good enough for moat players, or most casual ones away. They wanted to be completely immune to an CV drop and now we have this rework. They wont care, they dont even player CV's in the first place and have no idea what it's like. Well, you asked for this and boy you chaps are gonna get it. Doesn't matter which Ship you now sail, my torp bombers/rocket/bombers are going to get through and hit you REGARLDESS of what button you press or AA you have. Because they just evaporated in the past, now i just keep on hitting you. Rework has to do 2 things (not including console ready being the real reason): 1) Cater for the younger generation and 2) lower the skill gap. If people lose their planes in the first run they will not play CV's. Where the current CV players have to just sucked it up and go on with it, that wont be enough for the rework. It has been dumbed down so much it has taken any teamplay and tactics out of CV's. It's now purely a damage farmer. How can they farm damage if they die like they currently do now? You see the new rework cant have planes just die like they do on the rework or why would people play them?? People are talking about "Blanacaing it out". Like they did with the Belfast, Saipan or the BalanceGrad? Yeah, WG record on balance is shocking and i don't blame them. Balance doesn't make money remember, but it does end up destroying games in the end. If CV's are so deadly now and kill everything n site then why are most players stats show CV's being their worse class or lower than there BB/DD/CA counterpart with damage being even less. So much for the OP comments. Complete scaremongering from those that don't even play the class or get P***** off by them (DD players normally). You never never see a CA main complain about CV's. Those that haven't played the rework, just play a game called BATTLESATIONS MIDWAY because they ripped it off. That game become incredibly boring very quickly. Summed it up nicly. WG gave us the tools to stop a whole Class from being useful and hardly anyone took it. People wanted to have their cake and eat it. And they STILL moaned when they got sunk by one and didn't even pick the defensive AA consumable or spec AA in anyway. We all have choices to make, but even that isn't good enough for the new gaming generation. So "The rework CV cant do that. He approachs, drops his first load, turns, attacks again, turns attacks again, turns attacks again. That takes a lot time. If the AA would just shoot them down instantly, the CV would be useless." No, now he gets through regardless of what AA you have and drops you for half your health if not all. Then does the second attack run to finish you off. THEN he loses his planes. A pipe dream to what we have now. This is now a damage farmer. It had to be to keep new CV players happy and lower the skill gap. Those that currently don't play CV's will have a hand full of the new CV games and go back to their other classes. There is not enough to keep anyone interested in the new CV gameplay. It's graphics over game play, like a new transformers movie over films like Lawrence of Arabia. Simply cant compare.

World of Warships Legends "The CV rework has nothing to do with consoles and is because of bla, Skill gap, bla bla, RTS, bla bla*".....................................What a bunch of *****. Majority of CV players told you so. Does everyone know now why WG has changed CV's? I mean the REAL reason.... Why oh why couldn't they have just had the guts to just say it in the first place is completely bewildering. It's not the fact that they are doing it...It's the fact that they fed us so much crap regarding CV's without telling us the REAL reason why. They had to leave it up to the players to tell everyone why CV's are being changed, the real reason. Basically to cater for the younger kids that spends daddies money. You put it onto console and the game gets dumbed down, always happens. Not tin hatted mate, it's business. If everyone understands that WG it's a business then things become alot clearer in everything that they do. This is no different. Consoles are and have been for a while the future, money comes from kids now with skins, DLC and what-not. Games like Fornite that my young kids keeps on repeating when coming home from school that makes me wanna chuck every computer we have out of the house. 4-5-6 year old kids talking about tooling each other up and parents letting them play it, under-age, not giving S***. WOWS HAS to be console friendly, they have to continue to make money as it's a business. Like high street shops that are closing down because of online sales. Those that don't adapt to the current needs, die. Like this new WOWS premium account. We don't think for 1 second that it's got nothing to do with them making more money in the long run which it will (if you read between the lines). They know their customers when money is concerned. Now i'm not against business making money or some sort of anti capitalist, but when it directly effects the game then i'm against it. Right now it's killing the game and driving alot of people away from it. But they are milking what they can RIGHT NOW, in the short term, before it becomes another game like WT where people are leaving in their droves. Do we think Tier 10 Clan Battles was anything to do with fairness? £££££ Do we think adding premium ships that they said they were never gonna bring into tier 9-10 was by chance? ££££ Do we think giving people a taste of tier 6 clan was them being nice? ££££££ MOST premium ships are BETTER than there silver counterpart? £££££ The new arsenal with coal and steel? £££££ New World of Warships premium account? ££££ Nerfs to ships like the Hindy and Alsare? £££ Even the Nerf to BB AP shells*? ££££ *They know what is selling and grinding and what isn't. We think they are doing us a favour. But their first thought is "what can make us more money". Very few decisions are made for the pure benefit of us. Those that have been has always had my praises but they are very few and far between now. Kids and young folk don't care about gameplay, just shoot, shoot, damage and damage, gimmick, gimmick. That is what this is turning into and i am very sad for it. The gaming market used to be for teenagers or old skool gamers that were brought up on consoles like the Sega and Commodorer 64 but as technology is the norm with my 6 year old knowing more about computers and smart phones than i do then that is where more money can be farmed. Look at fornite and how much money that is raking in? A console game that is aimed at YOUNG KIDS. How many older players play that game hummm? "Daddy, i want a skin that looks like i am wearing someones cut off face for my Christmas present, please". I mean want happened to a good old bike hey? I have loved this quote from someone commenting on WG as a whole: Conclusion : WG is a business they have all the means (and incentives) to influence matches to be profitable. Play Freemium games at your own risk. Total War arena was a total flop that cost them alot of money. *sigh* I first came onto these threads to help people out and give them some advice to new players. How can i do that now knowing what this has changed into? How can i hand on my heart tell anyone to grind the CV line in it's current form to casual players? Even more so when they bring this new dumbed down damage machine that is the new CV re-work. My Only advice would be "fly around and kill things". That's not even tactics. Cv's have lost all sense of tactics. The only choice is what method are you going to use to blow that ship up. Excluding CV's and Bringing a ship like the Stalingrad into Clan's and soon to be more tier 10 premiums (IJN and French) is the straw that broke the camels back. The last bastion of equal play in a equal environment has now gone, never going to return. Great for business, crap for balance (please see LoL). I only wish to highlight yet another debacle from WG regarding honestly and integrity and their current contempt for loyal players.. Scratch another one to the list (along with tier 9-10 premiums, GZ and ect..) What the hell has happened to this game i've enjoyed since Beta. So disappointed yet expected at the same time. I wish i could say positive things like in the past

Preciously. They have taken the Moskva spot and that is a strong ship to begin with. But at least you have identified there is a problem, that's the first step. Your still a good player though and already your Stalingrad has better damage output then your Hindy, even more so your Woster (by alot). But you noticed just how much damage it can tank before going down? That's priceless in randoms.

Without ever playing a CV game in 18,719 battles? Wonder what side of the fence you are on then. Apologies if i don't take your comment seriously at all. Everyone has to right to play any ship they want, even the Stalingrad, Belfast, Saipan ect. Good CV players deserve to play their preferred class which they have worked hard worked to get that good, regardless of the enemy capability. Same as you and your clan mates kicking the hell out of noobs in any ship, CV or not.

You won't see many replies on that one mate believe it or not . Remember, steamers know nothing after all. I too have seen it. But again, it will fall on deaf ears. As far as some are concerned, it doesn't exist. *edited* And do you honestly think that is right or exceptable for a cruiser in this game? Dear god. And that's just it's guns, never mind it's fantastic tanking ability. You missed the point that much the ball is practically out of the park.

HE? What's the fire chance again? Don't underestimate Fire damage. And HE is used for targets that have perfect angles to you because of the auto bounce. Camo? Nothing new for a ship that big. You don't see these things right at the front due to it's very hard hitting guns and range. Doesn't need too. AA? and how many Cv's do you see for one and 2) It even have defensive AA. Sluggishness? How many do you see being driven around the map like a Zao? None. You see them tucked into a island with only it's bow showing. A very very very tanky Bow may i add. Was going to play this on the OP list in the first place but didnt due to MM and weak armour and HP. But i see your point. It's a very strong ship and i can see why people think it's OP, myself included. Looking at it's stats, even my own, it tops everything by quite alot and i can see why. It is borderline OP if not OP. But, it has more flaws than this thing and sufferer from that thing called MM. The BlanacedGrad doesn't remember and has better armour and HP tier for tier. But saying the Giulio is OP? I'll give you that. It is. Now Imagine giving the Giulio heavier, longer range, more accurate guns, alot more HP and better armour. Then mix that all up and label it as a crusier? Yeah. Welcome the Grad. I have no problem saying that any any of my ships are OP. But if you could only pick that one up after admitting to the rest then far enough. Got nothing to hide. Can't you hear what you are saying mate? It's a superior road block to the Moskva? I mean the Moskva is a massive roadblock in the first place and this one is better with better HP??? Please try to remember that this is tabled as a cruiser. I'll say that again, A CRUISER. Your having cruisers holding a whole flank by it's self. Punishes mistakes? I gotta love that one. Everyone makes mistakes and you can't angle against every target. When you have 4-5 Battleships in a game then 2 Grads what are you going to angle against? This thing can shot across the map at anything and Cripple anything. It's not like a short range Des with lofty arcs. In Clans it's even worse. You have less ships to focus fire on them with and more of the map to cover. However, the Grad can shot all over the map, from different angles. it;'s putting another Battleship in a game with a hard cap on Battleships. That is so so so wrong. You bringing more HP and more heavy hitting guns to a crusier fight. Concentrating fire is not a tactic available half the time, plue that applies to ANYTHING IN THE GAME. However, the Grad can weather it more than say a Zao, Des or Hindy ever will. You know this. Love it when people make the flippant comment of just focus it down. Like it's a throw away comment. Any ships goes down like that. Go into the training room and shot a broadside Zao in a Zao then do it with a Grad. How many shots does it take to kill it?.....Not bad for a bloody cruiser hey. I'm using a Zao because the reload isnt that far off a Grad considering the size of it's battleship like guns. In fact angle it slightly and do the same thing?....Again, not bad for a cruiser hey. You will notice the Zao shatters or bounces. The Grads just downright pens it and cits it. Imagine if you gave it very good HE damage aswell? It would be comically OP. However, it STILL has the best fire chance of any tier 10 cruisers. Like i have repeatedly said, don't under estimate fire. Please see the Jean and alsare. Just because it has crap HE damage does not make it bad regarding fires. Having that fire chance is another example of how many strengths it has compired to it;'s weakness. That is what makes a ship OP IMHO. When the strengths far out weight the weakness. Having more concealment, sluggish and less damage HE shells does not take away the very hard hitting, long range, accurate, auto bounce, tanky, more HP, radar, defensive AA strengths that are the Grad. I mean giving a Battlecrusier radar AND Defensive AA? Some serious stuff being smoked in that office. I knew the name Stalingrad would produce a ship like this from a Russian developer. Those that understand this knows what i'm saying and it killed WT. Have you seen the average driver in any ship? Even a noob can point a Moskva at the enemy and tank half the game without even firing a shot, bow-on. Even BB shells bouncing from it. However you stick a noob in a Zao or Des and he gets deleted very very quickly. A noob gets deleted in ANY cruiser. But he will survive more in a Gard or Mosvka than any other if he just points to the enemy. Any ship that shows broadside with get punished, why do we think it's only the Mosky and Gard that does. ANY SHIP DOES. People cant help getting wacked from across the map by Battleship guns with range. You cant angle against everything at all times. The Grad gives the team antoher ship to do that with. Regarding clans: Because anyone can have the Henri for one. It's available to anyone due to loan and silver line, so that gets my vote to start of with . That creates an equal footing to begin with. *cough* First thing to get out of the way...stats. It's currently sitting at 4th place. Second, Concealment. The Henri is a flanking ship but it has worse commencement than even the Hindy. You see this coming and ship like the Zao and Des (which i currently use) have oodles of time to aim and wait for the perfect shot. Third IFHE is no different to the Hindy really. That too can pen most things with HE, however that doesn't even need to use the IFHE skill and can invest 4 points into something else. The Zao is a better ship when it comes to flanking IMHO. Much better concealment, fantastic torps, kiting ability (so going invis) and accurate guns. The Henri is a great ship, don't get me wrong, but it has faults that outweigh it's strengths. it's still a cruiser with crusier armour and does not profess to be anything else. Lol. Apart from this one that hits like a truck when it does. You can not angle or bow on against everything in the game right? And not every ship has the range a Grad and Moskva has range wise. And not every cruiser has the accuracy and Battleship damage as the Grad does right? So you can be angled against one in clans for instance, but then get wracked from across the map by another one. Same in randoms. Unless you spend all the game behind a bloody island. Basically you are putting 2-3 more battleships in a game now with cruiser consumables. How r****** is that. You all know what i am talking about. This is not theory crafting, this is real life (pixel, lol) stuff. And they are. Premiums should be Captain trainers and gives a player something different. Not OP, just a different style of ship. The biggest problem is that people don't wanna buy "Normal" ships. They want to buy something that is very strong or gives them an edge. It's the generation that we are living in. However, it's turned into P2W (has for while now). It was only a matter of time i suppose and from someone who has been with this game from Beta, it's painful to see. And when all these other other steel tier 10 ships comes out? Do we think they will be worse? They even nerf silver line ships to make premium/Steel ones more OP (please See hard Alsare nerf ect) Don't turn a blind eye to all this and don't defend this OP ship like the BlancedGard. It's completely bewildering that some people say it's not OP when they say other ships are (and rightly so). Wanna know why you do? Because it's a REWARD ship and you have earnt it and spent a hell of alot of time getting one. So you wanna make all that hard work worth it and have a strong ship at the end of it. I don't blame you. I mean who would spend all that time, effort and lets face it, money, getting a dead duck. But this is over-the-top and you need to do some sole searching here chaps. I want whats best for the game and this isn't it.

5 stars But you are only half right: Well done for getting the following right: 1) Saipan is the most broken CV in the game. 2) The Kaga is OP as they come when in a tier 5-6-7 battles. There is a reason why i have a 80% WR in it. 3) Belfast has always been OP But not the following sadly mate: 1) Enterprise dominates the skies, not always the surface ships. noobs that use it do worse than the silver ships. Having AP only means selected targets and the torps drop is easy to avoid. It's tier 8 MM which isn't good for a CV. Even the GZ bets it stat wise. 2) Mikhail before the smoke nerf? Hell yeah. After the nerf not so much. To the point i sold mine. 3) Giulio Cesare. Strong ship with great guns. In the hands of a good captain then it's fanatic. But it's Armour, HP and AA balances it out. 4) Kidd. Tier 8 MM for a start and has weakness. Currently has 4 silver ships topping it at the moment state wise. But it's a casual friendly ship IMHO like the Hindy was. So..... That has completely justified my argument and blown yours out of the water. I have at no point stated that other ships wasn't OP in the first place? Some of which i own In fact in many comments i make in these threads i have at mutipul times pointed out what i believe are PW2 ships. Including gimmicks. I have never tried to defend a ship that is OP, extemely strong, PW2 or broken. Do i play them? dame right i do but i am under no illusion that they are Overpowered or extremely strong in a certain tournaments or randoms. However, many of you, including yourself can't. I have no axe to grind or wanna keep my toys safe from the nerf bat, because some of them still needs it. It's a game of pixels at the end of the day. I understand that people have erant it but think of the game as a whole. Trouble is people couldn't careless and only procted their little patch of grass. So just incase: NO! A OP ship is still a OP ship. OP ships are wrong and kill games. Thanks for not answering the question . So their not wrong and their not right, nice one. I am afraid of people not seeing what these ships are doing to the game. *edited* And your completely right about a bigger Moskva. That in it's self should sum it up. However, i can kill a Moskva alot quicker than i ever could a Stalingrad. The thing about Moskva is it's low DPM and crap AP shells when angled to him. Putting Auto bounce shells on the Grad with laser accuracy and fanatic range? What a joke ay. Even angled you still received damage and can our right kill a nose on Mino, unlike the Moskva shells that just bounce and break. So it's a superour Moskva. Lets drink a real cup of coffee her chaps. But of course you know that. It's already topping your damage in tier 10 cruisers, higher warships destroyed compared to your Moskva and survived on avrange more battle. Again, whats the odds. After all, it's only a Moskva hey Anyway, nothing is gonna change on this thing. It's not commercially viable to do so, so WG simply wont. Steel is money and WG will hold on to this for as long as they can. From a money point of view, i don't blame them. From a gamers point of view it *edited* and killed games like WOT and WT. It's doing the same here and people need to wake up. Laters

And hows your Grad then? Cuz it's currently kicking*edited*out of your other tier 10's? What's the odds.... When everyone in the building is saying their is a fire, their normally is one. And please it's not a contradiction but a statement, don't mix the two up. I can see why you wanna close the thread and you know it has nothing to do with apparent toxic comments. Ok..... Screw what i say then as i'm just a casual noob, but answer me this: When all these popular streamers (I mean all of them) are saying that it's "Broken *edited* "unbalanced" "OP" "Too much" why do you think they are all singing off the same song sheet? Universally together on this. Or are they just all wrong then....Because I rate LWM very highly regarding reviews and she's been right on lot of occasions. But not only that, but all the OTHER agree too. Or shall we just brush that under the carpet too then and close the thread.

Wow not bad for BB/BC shells hey . It's a fanatic fire starter. But it doesn't really need to with those AP shells does it now? Or they just steam down a flank and tank. Or just sit there and tank so much damage that your team has already wiped the other side out. *edited*thank god in heaven they don't. But they still have auto bounce regardless, more advanced than the other cruisers at tier 10. If it had Des kinda Bounce then it would go beyond a joke. The point was changing Ammo type, not RELOAD and change. I think 20s reload (without AR AND Reload) is still fantastic for the damage these shells can pump out. What you expecting? 9? 12? 15 sec reload? Thanks. So it's 17.85s, not 20s Of course it does, it's not a Moskva is it? It's a far superior version with SUPERIOR GUNS. Again, what reload would you want it to be? 9? 12? secs.. What do you think Battlecrusier shells reload times should be? And your spot on regarding fire chance. It is just that....A chance. Just like the" Chance" to set a BlancedGrad on fire too. Or do we think they just set on fire with every salvo (6 salvos with DE DES and not one fire) Precisely what i am talking about. You highlighted one of the problems quite nicely. Who cares about clan mates and my own option hey? It's not like i'm a caring person who wants to keep this game, which i played for a long time now, from becoming a joke and another WOT or Thunder. "Getting dragged down by me and my clan mates"...My god, if that isn't an elitist attitude then i don't know what is. All you have highlighted is your contempt for inferior players. Ok, so people don't use the reload mod and AR on the Grad? I THINK SO. So is it really 20's? I think not. Oh and switching ammo with Captain skill which alot of people run with? Not 20's is it? Des and Zao eat AP damage even when angled against the Grad. Anyone mentioned the Mino or RN cruisers? Doesn't matter how they are angled, they are being blatted (over-match). Funny how again, people miss them out. Don't angle right and your eating alot a damage in cruisers. Nice one auto bounce (what a stupid idea to giving laser shells auto bounce). The Des needs it as it is has rainbow arcs. Can you remind the thread about the fire chance of the Grad? So HE is a fire starling nightmare but funny how people leave that out. Please see the Jean Bart. Poor HE damage but sets fires like dream. Alsare too. And with the laser accuracy of the shells, your not missing any of those shots.

"Practically a Moskva" gotta love that one. Always gets used to defend this "blancedGrad". Just by simply looking at your Moskva vs Starling stats tells me and everyone else exactly how it rolls. Not just you lad, by everyone else that loves to defend this thing. Like LWM stated "overall better and overpowered” I understand why you defend it. You've earnt it, but please please think of the game as a whole and the playbase who see these things in battle. CB even worse. *cough* When WG first mentioned that a reward ship was being handed out and it's name was Starlingrad, i knew that is was very very, very bad news. That name in Russian means alot and i knew this ship would be extremely strong (happens nearly all the time when Russians develove the game). I mean look at Warthunder......COMPLETELY KILLED THE GAME. IS3? What a broken joke that was for 2 years and then "we didnt know about the extra armour?". Please. Then it came. First time i seen it in battle (flamu testers name) it killed 4 ships and tanked like a boss. I knew it was true. Thank god i was on his team (posted it in people i've seen in battle thread awhile ago). Then the streamers came. IChase, Flamu, Noster, Panzer ect and guess what? Everyone of them said it either 1) requires alot of nerfs 2) outright OP or 3) bit too strong 4) outright broken *edited* But whatever right? People will still say "they don't know everything and are not always right". Even though Some of them couldn't agree on the colour of an orange but are universally bound by this ship? But whatever right... Then the stats came. They were outright killing tier 10. "Well when more players get hold of it it will" they say. So what about the Belfast hey? Still doing very very well after how long now? Or the Kaga? Or Saipan ect. All of which are OP ships. Still doesn't take away that they are OP ships in the first place. But ok, steamers and stats mean nothing right? Then the many threads about the Starlingrads have flooded the forum. Those that says it's bad for randoms and even worse for clans. Even talking about having these in Clan Battles or not. But even though many people warned against it, here they are. And guess what? More threads about BlancedGrads in Clans and how they are wrecking the session. They stripped the last really balanced tier (10) with steel ships. Those that don't and those that do. The elites against the casual players. Before, anyone can rent a ship and play all the ships everyone else has. Equal as much as it could be with only the team tactics and players skill making the Major difference. Not anymore.....The fairness is being stripped away and it will get worse and worse (more steel tier 10 ships). This is the biggest thing that i have a problem with. Fair play and that's gone now. It's come chaps, PW2 in Clans. Just buy the steel missions now. Soon you will outright buy steel. Putting a Battlecrusier in a game full of crusiers with having a cap on Battleships is outright stupid. I'll say this again....STUPID. It can hold a whole flank by it's self. Hard hitting, accurate, auto bounce shells by the bucket loads. It tanks like a Mosky on roids it's comical. Ok so stats, steamers, mine and many peoples options don't matter right? But then the most important factor for me came......My own clan mates. And guess what they said? It's OP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *edited* You see 2 of them care about the balance of the game more than having a prize OP ship. If they say that it's OP, then not taking into account all of the above, that's enough for me. People can defend there patch of grass if they want too and it's fun having the edge. But being so narrow minded does not help this game one bit. Until you take that BalancedGrade size piece of wood from your eyes, you will not see what it is doing to the gap and game in general.

Your not gonna win here mate. They are OP. Always have been and always will be. Putting a Battlecrusier in a game full of cruisers (CB) is stupid, but it makes money for WG, so expect nothing to change. Every streamer says so, many of my own clans mates say so and so do i. Your are about the 15th person to bring it up but will fall on deaf ears.

Shorter and not worth 3 points more on this ship. Use SI on most cruisers, but not this one. Lives off concealment (CE), needs IFHE to do damage and AFT for the AA range in which it was designed for. That leaves one 3 pointer and BFT is more useful in my books. Faster reload of main guns and makes up for no DefAA.

That ship you have was designed to protect fleets from AA during WW2. That was it's whole goal and that mentaltly has been tranformed into this game. 50 is the max planes kills i have on mine, using the build i have described. 2 x Atlanta's and 1 x Kaga is one Div i highly recommend. All CV players love to see a friendly Atlanta in the team. Unless it is sailed by a potato as it's a very unforgiving and hard to use ship.

1) First and foremost...Any good CV player will put his planes where a single Atlanta isn't. Unless you can position yourself to support alot of ships (teamplay) where the CV has no choices left or close supporting a cap to help the DD with AA cover, forcing the CV's hand. 2) Second, putting ALL the AA skills and upgrades is completely overkill. Completely overkill and unnecessary. AFT is fantastic on the Atlanta like on most AA ships for the range. The AA range MOD works well as an increase in accuracy doesn't really matter when your spitting shells out like billyO. You do not need ManAA, completely overkill. Only ships like the Mino, Alabama, NC (no defensive AA, yet fantasitc AA) and the like really need ManAA. My build: CE, AFT, IHFE, BFT, AR, PM and PT. IHFE is a must in my books and you can do without SI if you use premium consumables. Using that many Defensive AA during a game means you have one stupid enemy CV player. Radar is short. regarding DE, You throw that many shells, they will catch fire even with IFHE. Remember the fire flags help alot too so make sure you don't leave them out. Relying on fires to damage BB's and cruisers is not a good thing and far too RNG reliant. BFT also helps with your re-load don't forget? AA flags is great too. So if you really have something against CV's, then by all means put everything on it. But to wipe planes out you don't need to. AA flag, AA range MOD, BFT, AFT and your ready to go. Just get that AA range out to max. And dont use your AA when hes at max range, switch it off then put in on when he is close and puff! his planes have gone.

But... Tier 7 CV's was the best example of P2W in this game. Such a shame it was CV's that waved that flag.
