    You do understand that the DDs that the Bismarck hunts are the same that die to torps in their own smoke. Hydro is very much a defensive tool if you are faced with a competent DD.

    It looks to me like you are just salty. Secondary build WORKS on the Bismarck, simply because she doesn't sacrifice a huge benefit for it.

    Instead of nerfing the ship, you can stay 11km away from the ship. It takes every upgrade and skill to get the range and accuracy of the secondaries, all being countered by range.

    I guess with the new economy and calculation, you are forced to be aggressive and risk losing your ship or play in a more tactical matter and risk losing a lot of money if the games end early.

    I do know how good premium consumables are, but that doesn't change the fact that he did poorly, he had all the premium consumables and yet he complains about losing money on tier 10 ship and standard account. If he got a Kraken and ended up losing alot of money, we can all agree that would be bad, but that's far from what he shown us.

    You did a poor job in a tier 10 ship, you loaded all premium consumables and you complain about losing money?
  12. How about introducing a Cruiser specific module in the second slot that would decrease Citadel damage by 50% for 280+mm guns. It would give Cruisers a chance to keep fighting, even when that one wild shell decided to park itself in the citadel even tho you weren't showing a broadside, but you got molested by that shell when you were running away. The second slot right now contains Damage control party 1 ( I honestly don't see it as useful) and Steering Gears and Propulsion modification 1 (both rendered useless by Last Stand) It would buff Cruiser survivability without nerfing anything. Edit: Upgraded would affect only Battleships. Share your thoughts.

    To be honest I don't understand how this would affect the Hipper. The way I see it, BBs would be most affected, while CAs would have the fire rate to compensate for the reduced damage from citadels. Another way could be, the damage reduction to affect 280+mm guns, leaving Cruisers unaffected.

    With the German BBs we do have an increase in BBs and the BB hunters, pretty sure we're going to have plenty of Cruisers when the new line comes and as a result more BBs as there will be plenty DD counters. The tier spread is fine as it is, because with smart play you can deal with almost anything the enemy team can throw at you and there are very few ships that suffer from it(mostly CVs). Also I don't remember the time when Cruisers weren't fragile, they are just very punishing if you mess up.

    I tried the Khaba and the range nerf is not fatal, the reload nerf is barely noticeable. Soviet DDs outperform all other DDs by a good amount so this is not a random nerf, nothing in the playstyle has changed for the Soviets.

    I think that the Steering Modification 3 should extend to Battleships as well, right now you have very limited choice being better spotting or stealth, stealth being useless for a close range brawler. A Cruiser with SM3 and PM2 can almost be immune to long range shots and very aggresive when pushing caps and if SM3 is extended to Battleships it can allow for increased reaction time when pushing caps. I think the increase in maneuverability would help aggressive play styles and with the future changes to IJN DDs now be a nerf to a specific class.

    There is nothing in this game that increases torpedo range. Vigilance lets you spot torpedoes from further away.

    I really hope they would put it for BBs as well, for more torpedobeat action. I hope people will remember that this will come first on the TEST server and just like the PvE modes, it might now make it on to live servers, so save the salt for later. ​
  20. I loved the fights that happened and the main plot, but other than that I wanted to puke for the rest of the anime stuff(and I'm an anime fan).
  21. A sniping BB is a useless BB. As for the actions of the team when 2 BBs are tied down, I would guess they are trying now to die. It's very easy to delete a Cruiser when you face tank the other BB. Right now only a Yamato or a major **** up from your team can break a bow on camper. It would be horrible if BBs start slamming citadels on each other from the bow a well, but I doubt that would be the case.
  22. It's a good change, the only problem I would have would be if they do it to the Tier 8 German BBs. Being unable to damage bow on BBs while they wreck you is gonna make playing them a nightmare.

    ​ Is it really, I see this curtain giving a ship enough time to make a turn and not get deleted by a battleship, if there is no one spotting ofc. I see it used at choke points to cover DD torp attacks without having the DD waste smoke for it.

    Perhaps a Cruser consumable, small duration and decently small reload. I would help Cruisers push and dictate the flow of the battle, all the while being easily countered by planes. It would benefit CVs a lot in making them more support oriented.
