Does not change the fact you did not react to the bombers. You should have kept turning right and would have avoided most of the torpedoes. Fact is you did not pay attention. ALWAYS presume that Torpedo Bombers are coming for you when you see them. -
OK, I've played 47 randoms and maybe 100 co-op. Here's what I think.....

From my experience with BBs, I can advise you this: Never expect not to be shot at. If you see a DD 12km away, start turning and prepare to evade. If you see Torpedo Bombers coming in your general direction, start turning. It will slow your progress down the flank, but in the event of an attck you will greatly minimize the damage. You are a big boat don't expect to evade all the damage. Always pay attention to you minimap, alot of times i've died alone because I didn't notice how my teammates turna round and leave me alone on a flank. -
Do you stay in sniper view alot? Do you keep you distance from islands? Do you pay attention to your surroundings? Are you ready to dodge torpedoes when engaging ships with torpedoes? Are you sitting in one place?

Carrier matchmaking - Unfair & various Carrier balance issues

Carrier got no defence other than speed, should BBs be slower because they are so strong? Fighters: Fightter squadrons don't need increase, because you got fighter decks, so choose wisely. Dive Bombers: have their role, so pick your targets, you will do massive damage to DD but almost nothing to BBs. Same way you have guns that can do 13k damage but you do 1k. Torpedo Bombers: The reason most people complain is, because they wait for the torpedoes to drop in the water before they start evading. If you see the TBs comming from 7 kms away and not take measures it's your own fault you died, not OP mechanic. -
For the same reason we have BBs Sniping from 20kms away and expecting good results.

Look at where your team is going and try not to rush ahead. Had few games where I go in first shoot abut, get shot at and before I notice the guys that were with me did 180 and ran away leaving me to die. Always try and shoot at the water line and hope you score some Citadel hits and use sequential fire with a little lead after every shot so you can hit mostly the same spot.

Domination games end pretty fast, faster than you can kill the enemy team ofter. So, why not remove the 300 starting poins and start from 0. it would give a free pass on the first gay to go down, but it will increase the match length by a bit.

With the WoT stigma and all and comparing Carriers to SPGs .... clicker name calling .... This is what you use to shoot your guns...... think about it.....

Aren't battleships kinda underpowered right now?

Battleships are the only class that can take a beating from mutliple ships and still come out as a winner... When you die do you try to find the mistake that killed you of are you all so flawless, that it must be a weak class? -

Right now you have a little circle thingy at the top left of the damaged party or fire/flooding. It's really hard to know how long it will take to repair those and act accordingly especialy on CAs and BBs. I think it numercal timer should also be included.

I did not know this, but I think it would be better for the timer to be visible all the time.

I usualy complain when I get in these kind of games. But even if you don't have CVs to fight you can contribute well enough. Scouting, Scout hunting, bombing ships that used DC crew. It's not much but it can help.

If your having trouble with TBs do give fighters a try. Some times keeping the sky clear is better than sinking 1 ship.

People who have no idea of how the class works, don't pay attention to all the warnings, get wrecked and whine on the forum.

I personaly try to get close so i can recover my planes faster, but not too close because i easly bocome a primary target. You can easly cover BBs trying to snipe, but getting too close to the front is generaly a bad idea. Critical hits can make a short work out of that huge HP pool. Smart players will always disable you and leave you useless for the rest of the battle.

Just because your BB is meaty doesn't mean you should play as a vegetable and tank all the damage. You let a DD get close enough to throw those 4 torps and kill you, but if the DD sniped you 10km away with them ..... I will shed a tear for you. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS,

Fighters have everything needed to be an attack option for CV captains. I was wondering why don't they have that option?

Loadout stand for ammo. Torpedo bombers are for raw damage and Dive bombersfor setting things on fire. You can order squadrons freely untill they start an attack run. You can change the result of an air battle by controling the engagement. Best you can do is fighte over friendly ships and use the AA to your advantage or simply be higher tier than your oponent.

At higher tiers torpedo reload is pretty high. Torpedo Bombers already have arming time and if you don't pay attention to your surrounding your dead anyway. I agree that torpedoes should bounce off the hull when they come at extreme angle.

Use HE to lock down CVs and to destroy DDs without aiming for weakspots. AP for everything else.

Was there a smoke screen, I'm pretty sure DDs don't pop out out of nowhere like that. If you can't see who is capping and your not being shop always presume DDs and always be prepared to dodge torpedoes.
