Aircraft Carriers.. A change....
Seinta replied to anonym_u8iWTTjoJPWA's topic in General Discussion
I would like it more if fighter heavy setups are made viable even if the enemy team is lacking CVs, but not have the ability to have 4 TBs per CV. Have you ever been targeted by both CVs in a BB? I was trgeted once, barely got out alive. It's simply too OP to be an option. -
The amount of games you have in CVs and Destroyers amounts to the total of 5. You know nothing Jon Snow.

RNG is a massive problem and the game would be much better without it
Seinta replied to ZuFFuLuZ's topic in Archive
To everyone complaining I would suggest you play IJN Cruisers, Kuma and Aoba in perticular and come back again. BBs have high RNG for a reason, because they will be able to 1 shot every ship in the game every 30 seconds. It can be hard to evade torpedoes, but it's hell of alot harder to evade shells. -
More numbers to look at?

People's toughts are that inexpirienced people see this as a problem and make threads about it instead of getting expirienced and see that it's not that big of a problem.

Aren't battleships kinda underpowered right now?

Your lack of skill is disturbing. -
[SUGGESTION] Circumnavigation Medal/Pennant

I'm pretty sure we will get fancy medals soon enough. -

If you want less RNG play anything BUT BBs, Destroyers and Carriers have little to no RNG. Battleships are fine as they are, huge HP, absurd amount of secondaries, range, damage, easiest class to play and profit? -
The way I learned how to aim properly is I always presume that the ship is going full speed and use sequential fire to draw a line at a predicted location of the ship and from then on it's easy. Once you get used to the speeds ships have( usualy IJN CA's are faster than US) you can score good hits and 1 or 2 salvos can help you adjust to the speed if it's lower.

Torpedos launchers - AKA torps raining from sky
Seinta replied to WarriorOfTheSun's topic in General Discussion
So you desided to jump from something nimble as a DD to a fat BB. A skilled CV will drop the torps so close that you will be unable to evade them, same way a skilled BB will take measures to evade most if not all torps. -
XVM is a e-ruler to measure your e-peen and there is hell of alot of [edited] measuring in WoT. I don't want to have some mentaly challenged person telling me how much I suck based on a program. Edit: And before you know it you will have threads going "Nurf Carriorz targeting gud playerz" Edit2: Flaz3 I don't suck, I blow.

And you have played how many games in CV and DD? 14 games tell me how skilled you are. That must be a new record on the whine scale.

You research flight decks, hover your mouse over the deck to see what squadrons it has.

1st Battleships are not meant to snipe and the close you are to ship the more accurate your fire becomes. 2nd If a Destroyer comes close to you it's not OP, it's just YOU let him get close and you deserve to be sunk. 3rd Torpedoes are FINE and YOU just need to learn how to evade them and bombs are there to do module damage and start fires, something that torpedoes can't do. Lower tiers are spammy so learn to evade. You are clearly inexpirienced and that's a very bad foundation to judge the game.

Manual drop Torpedo bombers and AA ranges, a humble suggestion
Seinta replied to Liare's topic in Archive
You don't because you got yourself in a possition that you will get torped from both sides. Either you preemptively turn and make it impossible to cross torp without losses or you don't and end up taking the torps. -

Most people bash mechanics before trying them. -
Yes it is, doesn't reward you well enough, but denying an enemy CV kills is damn good.

Manual drop Torpedo bombers and AA ranges, a humble suggestion
Seinta replied to Liare's topic in Archive
Do you really think you know the full extent of you ability to evade torpedoes with 10 battles in a BB? From tier 3 to tier 8 I god damn good at evading torpedoes and AGAIN you are waiting for the bombers to attack you before you even freaking react to them. In a BB you must be ready to evade the torpedoes the moment you see them spotted, NOT when they are 2km away and NOT when the torpedoes are in the water. BBs have the hardest time dodging torpedoes, most of the time the best thing you can do is minimize the damage, but if you repeatedly get sunk by bombers in a Cruiser YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. I'll be a douche now: You have less than 100 battles you got only 10 battles in a BB and you are here telling people how impossible it is to evade torpedoes. FOCUS on playing BBs and start evading torpedoes, because if you learn to evade torpedoes in a BB that means you will never get torped in a cruiser. -
Using planes from carriers to constantly spot opposing team .
Seinta replied to MrRibz's topic in General Discussion
No they don't have time limit. And before anyone thinks of suggesting a nerf, DDs are getting buffed next patch. -
Manual drop Torpedo bombers and AA ranges, a humble suggestion
Seinta replied to Liare's topic in Archive
And why would you wait for the torpedoes to be IN the water to start evading? You have decent enough AA, but it needs time to shred the planes and if you don't make it hard for the CV to kill you, don't expect to survive. If you can't dodge torpedoes as a CA you are doing something wrong. -

There is nothing subtle about CVs, you can see the planes coming from 7km away and it's your job to prevent them from killing you. Artilery can attack and kill you without any warning. If you don't take in consideration the bombers coming your way when you see them from 7km away and not react when they get 2km away from you it's your fault you died, not OP mechanic not OP class. And you always bring replacement planes, tell me will you sprey and pray if you have 50 shots on a cruiser and half of a salvo NEVER reaches it's target? Edit: Using fighters to cover the bombers doesn't work, because you can focus your AA on a specific squadron, so even if I had 100 planes up if someone wants to shoot down my bombers he will. -
What can we expect in the next big patch (0.3.1)?
Seinta replied to Sharana's topic in General Discussion
I hope IJN CVs aren't gimped to the point where stock US fighters can wreck a fighter heavy CV.
