You have amazing armor and torpedoes, get in close and personal and you will hit your targets, unless RNG trolls you super hard. So far, a very fun ship to play.

Looking at the captain skills I saw Preventive Maintenance and it had me thinking: Who in their right mind would take it? Modules break, but Last Stand already takes care of that, making the ship usable even when modules have been taken out. So instead of just being a place holder(my opinion), make it another fire fighting skill. Be it another duration reduction or DoT reduction, some meaningful reason to pick it up. I think everyone knows the feeling when your DC party runs out and the very next salvo starts 2 fires and it's game over, so instead of nerfing stuff, reward the full survivability builds with this. Share your thoughts.

If you hold Alt when you have fighter squadron, you can do a strafing attack that can almost instantly kill all planes in front of it.

Please, someone, explain to me how to deal with this insanity? Since I got the Udaloi, high tiers have been extremely frustrating. It has been a constant 1win-2 loss games with it. From the incompetent CVs to random "Heroes" solo rushing caps, to all of the team being too afraid to support their DDs. Just my last game: we had 2 DDs, both of us pushed to the caps, the enemy DDs contested them and while the rest of their team pushed, ours kept enough distance to get killed while being as useless as possible. The friendly DD died and I ran away and still it was somehow my fault that we lost all 3 caps. because I wasn't doing my job as a DD. I am an average player, but somehow I can perform better in the Udaloi compared to Tashkent and Kiev and yet I got 33% win rate in it. High tier have been very frustrating, but most of the times I get thrown into a majority tier 8 game, it's like a whole new game(most of the time) everyone charges head first and you get an awesome fight. I'm bitter!

What is worse than a GS player, is the bitter loser that throws the game. I had a game where we were "Blessed" to have GS CV on our team and our Khaba decided to throw the game and give up. As horrible as the CV was( he literally rushed B) we managed to even the numbers, but sadly our top tier DD decided to be a bitter loser.

I have to ask, why do you always want to nerf things, why not buff the other DDs to match the performance of the Khaba? Still at kiev right now, but I can easily say, ruskies from tier 7 are more Cruisers than DDs, so that could explain the average damage difference.

CVs at the moment are in a hole and it doesn't look like they are getting out of it anytime sooner. Currently, all CVs have fighter upgrades on all tiers and some bomber upgrades, they should be removed, while leaving the top versions as standard. The main problem is that CVs can make or break a game for its team, something no doubts, everyone has felt while playing. There is also the lack of team play and focus on damage dealing, rather than support. My suggestion involves a variation of the planes that can support the team or deal damage in a less frustrating way. My idea is to have squadron options that you can select while keeping a balanced setup. For a start: Scout squadron: The scout squadron would be able to support its team by providing basic air cover and the ability to deploy a smoke screen at the cost of not having the strafing ability. These planes would have low survivability, low ammo count and have the highest speed. The smoke cover would be a short duration that would allow the CV to save ships under heavy fire or cover and advance. Attack squadron: The attack squadron would be fitted for combat with good survivability, decent ammo count and speed rivaling the scout squadron. these planes would have the strafe ability allowing them to engage multiple enemies and an ability to strafe ships as an auto attack, 3000/5000 max damage and 0% fire chance. Torpedo bombers: They would remain unchanged however, tier 4 CVs need a big reduction to damage. Tier 4 give the new preferential MM has very few ships that can pose a threat to planes and they can easily one shot a Cruiser. Lower damage will make mistakes punishable, but not as harsh as they are now for new players and less easy to sealclub in them. Dive bombers: They will have the option to chose between bombs, the smaller bombs would offer a bit faster rearm time at the cost of fire chance and damage, while the heavier bombs will offer the opposite and AP bombs if they happen. The selection of the planes will be under a rule: You can only swap 1 squadron of a class with squadrons of another class(torpedo bombers being excluded) . The selection can happen from the Ammunition and consumables tab before battle. An issue that has been present in the game from the start is the ability to permanently spot Destroyers as a CV. This is especially bad for Japanese DDs that depend on stealth to be useful. Smoke is temporary and you cannot always depend on ships or air cover. My suggestion is to introduce a skill in the Concealment and Aquisition tab of the captain skills ....let's say "Zeroing target" that would after 30 seconds boost the DDs AA damage by x5. That would give DDs a chance to force the CV to stop spotting or lose its planes. The skill could also be passively boosted by BFT and ATF by reducing the activation time. Share your thoughts.

The new modes are very fun, it was a breath of fresh air from what we had, but the problem with the rewards is still there. It's a very good first step on making PvE it's own thing, My only gripe is the reward, the chances of an increase are slim to none, but another alternative could be decreasing the repairs, by a mission or PvE flag or something.... just not leaving a decent game on a loss

It's all down to adapting to the enemy. Only US and Russian CAs get radar, this is enough information to know who to avoid getting close to.

But you have to actually go for the DDs. It's really sad when you get a damage wh**e on your team, while the enemy CV is wrecking him AND spotting your DDs. -
[EU] A "Military Month"-challenge like the NA, would that be welcomed on the EU?

The only gripe I got so far, is that you can afk your way trough the battles you need. The rule should be, aswell as for sink X amount of ships, be in the top 5 players for played battles and deal 20% damage to ship, so it would be counted. I like the idea of the Commemorative flag, would definetly be usefull. -
Seeing how AW's PvE is so well made, it had me thinking, how can WoWs PvE be made more fun. Since we already have it and its mandatory for the first battle, but utterly useless for the majority of players, it had me thinking. During Halloween we had Boss ships appearing in mid tier battles. This would make PvE a fun challenge it starting at tier 3 you happen to meet a beefed up Kongo or at tier 6 you have to fight a Yamato, at higher tier fighting multiple buffed up ships. Perhaps mostly BBs and CAs as they would be more balanced oponents compared to a stealthy DD or a CV. This can allow for a fun challenge with a decent reward, compared to what PvE offers. Share your toughts.
