I've seen teams camped in the corner 5 times in the last 2 days and 2 v 2 CV's 3 times tonight alone. Each time I was playing DD and spent the entire end game lit up like a xmas tree within torp range of enemy ships... all but one game was a draw. Maybe I had an unlucky couple of days but in general it's a scenario I don't find enjoyable, it's interesting that you haven't come across this. Like i said it's only the particular game mode, maybe you'll notice a similar pattern now I've mentioned it? Thanks for taking the time to give your input and hopefully the next time this happens I'm on your team!

I can't remember the name of the game mode, but the mode where you have to defend base and cap opponents seems very boring when there are 2 CV's on both teams. I've seen quite a few games that end with 2 CV's V 2 Cv's as well as scenario's where one team gets pushed to the map corner and the defending CV's basically protect Cap and snipe 1 or 2 ships while attacking CV's snipe a few ships on the outskirts of battle because camped AA is protecting opponent CV's. Both games end in a draw but more importantly, are boring for those in ships. Destroyers literally can't do anything to contribute late game and other classes are just going in circles dodging torps, any ship which enters Cap just gets reset by bombers or spotters (allowing long range snipes) so it just becomes a long range zig-zagging salvo battle and they are rarely fun for either team. IN other game modes 2v2 CV is a chess match but in this case it feels to me like a waste of 20 mins, often ending in a draw. Seems more like Command and Conquer than World of Warships. Perhaps this game mode could be reserved for only 1 CV per team or perhaps remove the time limit? Would be interested to know if others feel the same? Do CV captains enjoy the scenario and do other ship captains feel dismayed when they see the game line-up mentioned?

Very good point. I think even the introduction of an 'ignore' button (essentially a spam filter) which mutes comments and ensures you won't be paired with a player in future battles would be of huge benefit to the community and the game itself. As it stands right now the majority of games have very little chat or that one angry person. Chat is just not a place many players want to be, which really defeats not only the point to social gaming but also the potential for teamwork (a perceived lack of which is, ironically the source of much of the toxicity) Every so often there is a match where 3 or 4 people work together via chat and the game often ends with a win, but always involves a good (and fun) battle however it's not unusual that the person in a match who first says ' gl hf ' is the ineffectual dead guy hollering at team-mates a few minutes later. NO-one leaves a battle rife with noob-bombs with any sense of team accomplishment and I would suggest many people won't get sucked into a chat which will probably end in petty name-calling because, well, what's the point? If there isn't a change in the environment, the game could end up being a single player XP grind where you incidentally play alongside and against other players which would be a shame because when people work together the game is alot of fun.
