suggestion for radar "chaff smoke" alternative to smoke. blocks radar, but doesnt hide gun bloom. suggestion for he bbq "reactive measures" captain skill, provides stacking resistance to fires being set from the same attacker.

fun to shoot at since guaranteed citadel with every salvo you launch at one... but being on the receiving end of the same not so much. and with that main gun traverse speed, you cant even fire and manoeuvre. to try and off set the weakness. is this things 'gameplay' style supposed to be "camp behind island and hope for cv"? because right now i feel like selling and never bothering with the us cruiser line.

yea. if the traverse was at least fast enough to let you keep on target i would find this ship average. but as it is, its traverse feels like a t3 dread. since you are forced to either stop firing to evade, or go half rudder+half speed to keep firing the same way. i feel like taking out my nooberg and killing NOs for the crime of existing.

at t6 its guns compensated for its lack of torps, at t8 its just lunch. loss making lunch at that, since you need to take a now mediocre ship and consistently do twice your own ships hp in damage to cover costs. and given it sees t9 bb railguns, thats going to be very rare. trash boat is trash, and the pensicola needs to be renamed the pendcitidel.

Edit the wowslauncher.cfg file and change the launcher_transport value to 2, that should make it HTTP. just copying the answer i was given before. you can thank your isp for blocking torrent protocol. though wg could help by implementing encryption the way many torrent clients do. especially if governments keep getting isp's to do even dumber things at even higher rates.

ok. got it fixed**. to get it working again, go into amd settings, reset the wows profile, then delete it, then re-add it manually. after this, go through the gfx options for wows in amd settings, and make sure they are all set to be application controlled where applicable. (**for now at least)

i have no gui in port after the update today. it just loads the last ship i selected, if i click the right places i get the gui sounds, but nothing seems to be working. ran file integrity check, still not working.

mirrors my opinion. i cant run more than 1 t7+ ship without turning the game into a credit grind. which just sucks the fun out of the game. not to mention, grinding out ships at t8+ with no captain skills just to then retrain them back to a tier im comfortable playing just repulses me. -

got sick of windows 10 being as stable as jelly in an earthquake and have upgraded to windows 7 again. problem being now, im trying to re-install wows, but it wont update, and gives me the message in the title. anyone got a fix for this? edit--- simple re-install didnt work, but got it fixed by re-downloading the installer from the website and running the installation from scratch. since google shows this issue showing up every few years without anyone posting a fix im updating this to say how i fixed it. -
they have a set team size and competing goals to meet at a given progress marker. the USN and IJN where obvious given the naval conflict between to the two, and provided WG with 2 main nations to open the game with. german and russian representation in game combined still doesnt equal the numbers for USN or IJN. in order to put the RN into the game in a way that does it justice they need to have at least 4 full branches, to cover the 4 classes of ship in game. from what i have read, that is a 2 year job or more to model all those ships, and as such, likely means the RN will be added along with a future major milestone in the games development in order to gain publicity and better recover development costs. i personally dont doubt the have a good number of ships ready and waiting for the rest of the tech tree to be filled out.

its getting on my nerves now, i switch shells to hit a nice flat broadside of a target, aim in, go to fire a salvo, only to have only one turret fire and the rest to go into reload in order to change shell types when i didnt want them to. hell, even if it let me get off 1 full salvo it wouldnt be so horrible, but only letting me fire one gun? just... no how do i turn this off? since the only player assist options i can find are for tracking target or avoid collisions.

that condition of changing shells while reloading isnt a factor for me in these situations. that it happened with the first salvo of a battle is what finally motivated me to post this. started out in my furutaka, friendly dd spots a neurenberg about to round an island at >10 km range, i switch ta AP, nuerenberg pops out with a few seconds left on my reload... i get one shell off, and watch as all my guns are changing to HE. -
tried 3 times to get to current update. within a minute of starting the update my browsers stop working due to sky throttling the connection, and by the time the update is between a fifth and a third downloaded the patch speed is throttled to under 10kb/s. within seconds of stopping the update im back to 7+mb/s i doubt wg are going to go giving sky uk any phone calls, but i would like to get some tech support so i can play wows again...

when shells hit the water just shy of the target, is this the same as if it hits the ground in WoT? or is there some degree of penetration through the water allowing hits to the target below the water line?

the 1800 one means get 1800 base exp. base exp being without flags, premium, 1st win multi. could be time to go cap some points in your congo while brawling with dd's.

where is this said? is it on the wows wiki? how does this help past 10 to 12 km when smoke isnt getting rendered due to gfx settings?

that might be matter if emotional states changed game mechanics or remotely answered questions about them. as it is, they are irrelevant. you made a claim about how the game works, its up to you to clarify, not for me to 'listen and believe' on the basis of 'just because'. as much as this can be a rough workaround, this depends on the target staying spotted.
