Well PvE is very much a bot system sadly. I wished they would take the time and build a good AI system and make PvE more interesting. Good thing about PvE is there is so much you can do with it. I don't expect them to though. The only reasons you would ever have a exploiting bot system in your game is if you are not smart enough to make a good AI or just don't care enough about your game mode. As for credit/xp earnings PvE will always earn less basically due to PvPers having the mindset they are special cause they play against other players, sadly most the player base are worse than the bots.
PvE can be fun to go chill out and just try and enjoy the game, but the exploiting bot system can tick you off pretty fast. Plus right now the PvE MM is broken after the MM revamp. It does not wait for players to join up for matches. It just throws you in with most your team being bots, and being a exploiting bot system they just suicide into each other and it takes away damage you can do, xp you can earn, and generally the bots on your team basically try and throw the match so you lose.
