from the streamers I have seen so far: guns are really underwhelming and the airdrops dont do as much damage as was feared prior to release; unless you are humping an island whilst watching a streamer and not paying attention to your game

Hello Captains! tl/dr: which of the 3 Tier 6 DDs available for coal are worth it: Aigle, Gallant, Anshan? Or are they all crap and should i save my coal for something else? Purpose: mainly for (combat / personal) missions and operations. (so no Ranked and very little Randoms). I almost have enough coal to get a tier 6 DD, but I am wondering which one suits best for missions and operations? I only play 1, maybe 2 times a week and do mostly co-op for the faster games or operations. I dont feel the need to get a tier X ship in the shortest amount of of battles, especially DDs and I enjoy the ships at tier 5-7 so I dont expect to move beyond tier 7 anytime soon. Dont like Randoms much, so I stick to the aforementioned modes for most of the time. However, some missions require a specific class to complete with so I want to get a collection of ships that gives me options and are fun to play. Yes, I always pick the more resource crate for the extra coal (hopefully). SMart tactic on getting them all to reduce the RNG on super crates. And thank you all for replying! Keep the votes and comments coming!

Ok, good interesting tips as I am a newb and mainly a BB player. However, help me out pls. I hate camping; I dont know what A1 looks like, I never get to see what easter eggs the graphics team has modelled into the islands as I dont get close enough. I try to push the strong flank, or try to stall the weak flank, also dependant on MM. WoT has taught me enough patience to support my higher tiers when bottom tier, and to be more aggressive when top tier. However, by doing that in my BB, I get focused by the enemy. Enemy BB players think " look at that newb who doesnt know how to play the game" and shoot at me. DD players think " there;'s my xp pinata!", and shoot me. And Cruisers think: " Feel the HEat!" and shoot me. Dont get me wrong; I am not doing a leroy jenkins, but non-passive BB play feels like it gets punished hard... and what do I do then? Cant beat 'm make them stop hugging rocks, so join them?

Opened my daily login supercontainer yesterday and got 100x Sierra Mike signals. I;ll take it. In one of the other daily login containers (i open them all at the end of the month) I got 1500 steel. Ony 25,500 steel to go and i can actually spend it on something.

Completing combat mission groups for tokens to get the perma camo, can only be done in the Public Test server? Or on live server? Sorry, I is newb.

The colorado missions have already started a few days ago btw. and you need to complete 5/7 of the first set before the second set becomes available. Its a bit oddly worded.

I know, so why not include those other 6 missions? I only have 2 tier 7s as my highest ships, and I dont want to newb around in the Satsuma or Hannover.

Agree with Sunleader, the text was a but misleading, but I understand now. Also, why was only one of the seven missions (of the first set - havent looked at the rest) doable in Operations mode? Why exclude the mode from the other 6 missions?

Well, the Grand Battles in WoT are not just double the numbers, but the maps are also twice as large as standard maps. Would standard WoWS maps accommodate double the number of ships or should we be glad friendly fire is turned off with all those extra ships running into each other all the time :-P

Slightly off topic and forgive my newb question, but do we get to keep the satsuma and hanover captains after the event ends?
