Do you only get snowflakes for ships you have in port the moment the update drops, or do newly bought ships after the update launches also get snowflakes?

I have a bunch of ships unlocked but not yet bought. Anyone know if there will be a tech tree discount soon? Same for equipment discount?

Tier 11 coming? Given the very essence of superships as a "development" of already familiar ships, we think it would be most appropriate to place them in the Tech Tree as a continuation of their respective branches. Played about 10 battles in Normal mode; didnt get more than 4 stars. Rasputin always entered the circle before we killed him. Playing as a BB I always ram him and even ask my other BBs to do the same, but they never do. I gave up; not even going to try Hard or Very Hard.

Still a newb, but a WoT vet, so I understand the power of listening to your teammates. The hard thing is though; I dont know if the person giving me advice / pinging the map is a 45% player with no clue himself (even thogh (s)he thinks is does) or a 55% player who is actually reading the flow of the battle and is someone I could / should listen to. Now, I absolutely detested XVM in WoT, and I would not want something like that added to this game; it created such toxicity and caused players to suicide early in game due to all the "bots" on his team vs the greens, blues and purples on the enemy team. But that way if a purple was giving me advice at the end, I wouldactually listen, vs a 44%'er that died in the first 2 minutes and is playing armchair general. tl:dr Even when getting advice (ingame) I dont know if its WISE advice since I am newb; i cant differentiate between the two...

As I understand it, all BBs that did not have ASW yet will get the ASW airstrike. Dutch ships will have the regular HE airstrike AND will receive the ASW airtstrike as well. The mod buffs both airtrikes on the Dutch cruisers.

Which is so weird, because in WoT, sniping from the back you share your dmg xp with the tanks spotting for you, making it far less rewarding to sit at the back and rewards those at the front.

...that damage caused by secondary guns earns less xp than damage done with main guns. Flambass mentioned it on his stream yesterday and I, along quite a large number of other viewers, were not aware of this. Up until a few days ago, HE didnt even know. Do/Did you know? As a newb, I wonder what other handy info I am missing, and also why it is not mentioned with ships whose main selling point (in some cases literally) are their 'excellent' secondaries.

My bad, I thought I scanned all topics in the first two pages, but I guess not enough morning coffee caused me to miss that. Mods can close / redirect to Leo's OP. I can see that point. Fair enough, but it should be mentioned somewhere, so players thinking about full secondary ship & captain build, know the disadvantages they have by doing so. Maybe someone wants to play their full secondary Bismarck whilst farming XP for missions and they dont know this...
