    Whats the problem with Akatsuki?

I wish I could limit the AA range on Hatsuharu's 5" guns. The 25mms have a range that's very close to most IJN DD's air detection radius if you have AFT or the range upgade, so you can always leave AA on and they'll only fire when you'd be detected by the planes anyway. DDs with DP guns have to be actively managed; it's just a bit annoying.
  2. Dunkerque against the ship she was explicitly built to counter, hmm...

Consumable keys (T) not reacting when pressed

I had reported this in the feedback stickies for 5.14. Who knows if it'll get fixed though, let alone when.

    Map Changes

The look of newer maps (not just reworked New Dawn; it started with Neighbours) is pretty, but the glare from the sun is so intense it hampers gameplay. An option for removing sunlight reflections from water while retaining them everywhere else might be sufficient, but I think the issue is really the increased brightness of the sun and higher contrast across the whole scene. Ergo as with your sound effect 'improvements', I'm going to ask for a revert, to no avail.

    Supertest is Opening the Gates

I thought requirements would be simpler. Oh well. Why is the entry period so short? I almost missed this.

    Permanent Camouflages

IJN DD camos all look the same from what I've seen. I'd like this kind of look. Plain with the ship's name on the side.

    Admiral Graf Spee- premium T6?

To counterweigh against the mass of the guns so the load across the turret ring is even. Necessary if the turret's construction is relatively light for the guns it houses. If you've gotta have some dead weight like that you may as well make it out of armour, even if it's in a silly place.

    Tinfish Mathmatics

I think it's that the ships are scaled up (go near some coastal buildings found on most maps to witness the attack of the 5000ft destroyer) and the speed is a result of that.
  9. Plot twist: Tuccy actually came top on XP.

    Campaigns

Few more thoughts... I'd prefer the end reward for the novice campaign to be the doubloon value of the 7 days of premium. By the time I'm done doing all the tasks I won't be in the mood for using that premium to grind some more. On that note though I do like how the final tasks on each tier are always something really simple (or at least have been thus far in my experience), so I can essentially activate the premium time whenever I feel like it by playing one battle with the mission active, or save it for later. As for the other campaign, as a mid-tier player I don't like having to play tier 8 to get a tier 6 ship. I may never have a Shinome; I'm okay with this but I hope whatever campaigns appear in the future have tier requirements for doing the missions that are equal to the tier of the final reward if it's a ship (like the ARP missions mostly do). All the stuff is nice though. A system of rewards that is proportional to time spent with the game is great. Hmm. This could be made clearer in the game. I wouldn't have even thought to try looking at tasks I'd already done.

There is actually a Shcarnhorst that old.

    Campaigns

When WoT added campaigns they failed to add an option to automatically select the next mission. This was later rectified. You're repeating the same mistake; I'm making a lot of clicks through the incredibly sluggish UI on this game.

Leander dreadnought. Seems legit. You changed the colour again and it's still wrong. What can I say?

    New Japanese Destroyers

The idea of the new line being gunboats doesn't seem to hold true at all until you get to Akizuki. Tier 5 sees Minekaze being arguably the better torpedo boat since while the torps are worse, three twins is better than two triples (faster reload for same torp count; more flexibility in aiming). Tiers 6 an 7 have one less set of torps and no better reload for the guns, nor an increased number of them. Hatsuharu in particular only has somewhat faster traverse while the gun range is shorter, and the fifth gun isn't retained on the top hull. Hardly an improvement; Fubuki seems to be straight up better overall. Shiratsuyu has one less gun than Akatsuki with nothing better about the guns as far as I can tell. That said, I actually like that there's no clear definition since in reality these ships weren't designated as one or the other and the ahistorical contrivance of 'national flavour' or the idea that each line has to be unique purely for gameplay reasons fills me with distaste. Also the Type 8 Mod. 3 torps on Mutuski didn't exist. Historically there were two versions of the Type 8, one with 6.2km range (on Yubari & now stock Fubuki/Hatsuharu, though range is 6.0km in game) and one with 10km (now top on Fubuki/Hatsuharu... also been on Furutaka since forever, so why is it a separate unlock? seriously wtf). 10km range was achieved with their highest speed setting, so Mutsuki's torps being faster with less range makes them closer to Type 90s (7km on high speed). http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WTJAP_PreWWII.php#61_cm_(24%22)_Torpedoes I don't like the idea of you making things up just to make every DD have a torp upgrade and every BB have a propulsion upgrade. Overall I like the line, and I'd like to make that clear, but I'm concerned with the way you go about changes and structuring the game's tech grind.

    Scharnhorst and Dunkerque

If every vehicle has this characteristic as you say, why mention it? What makes it 'not so bad' when they're all the same in this respect?

    Event Calendar December - Feedback

More challenging? I worry about that; half the bootcamps weren't reasonable to begin with. Some where amazingly trivial and others you'd have to play 50+ hours in a week to complete for pretty much no reward.

Details please. Surprises for their own sake are utterly pointless imo.

    Bugs

Aspect ratio under graphics settings keeps resetting to auto. Since 5.14 it has twice set itself automatically to 16:9 after starting the game.

    Loose, loose and loose!

It's spelt lose. Spread the word.

    Scharnhorst and Dunkerque

Sorry I wasn't clear; this is rudder shift times given in seconds, as stated in the game client, with top hulls selected (if applicable/non-premium) and no upgrades installed. Dunkerque's shift time is average, and actually a little below the mean value which would be closer to 13.7s. There's not a lot in most of these differences but it's certainly not 'instantaneous' like Fuso.

    Scharnhorst and Dunkerque

    Nope. Arizona: 14.6 Warspite: 14.2 Dunkerque: 14 Bayern: 13.9 New Mexico: 13.5 Fuso: 12
  22. StringWitch

    Scharnhorst and Dunkerque

Warspite doesn't compare in speed but is more nimble than anything in the entire MM spread T6 sees. The only BBs that top her in shift time and turning circle are T2-3. Dunkerque's own manoeuvrability is actually very poor, having been sacrificed for speed (see also: Ishizuchi); she's a very long, lean, modern type of ship, giving a huge circle, while all the other T6 BBs are WWI-vintage super-dreadnoughts with short fat hulls.

    American AS CVs, worth continuing?

IJN AS is better anyway due to number of squads increasing flexibility, and retaining a torp squad for some actual strike ability. Overall, US CVs either overspecialise too much or (in some cases and) have too few planes in the air.
