OOK now i like playing the KM and all credit to WG for making an outstanding game but I have to question about historical accuracy here . Gneisenau in game is armed with 6 x 380 mm guns in 3 turrets A and B turrets mounted in superfiring configuration as standard . However i wonder if WG and most players are aware she wasnt actually fitted with these guns ,, Although they should have been fitted as standard the weight of the 380s would have required a major overhaul and lengthening of the bow section to accomodate the extra weight. She was actually armed with 9 x 280mm guns in 3 turrets as per her earlier sister Scharnhorst. . in 1942 Gneisenau suffered some moderate damage at the hands of the RN and was sent to Kiel for repairs She was almost ready to sail and join Scharnhorst and Adm Hipper off Norway when the RAF bombed her in her floating dry dock and a bomb penetrated her insides causing a massive explosion killing 112 crew and dockyard staff and immolatong A and B turrets beyond repair . At this point KM high command decided to refit her with the 380mm guns as initially intended . However, around this time Old Adolf Threw his dummy out of his pram due to the surface raiders showing a "lack of performance"; and as a consequence he cancelled the upgrades and stopped her repairs. Gneisenau never saw any further action during WWII she was eventually scuttled as a block ship her only surviving gun turret "Ceasar" was removed and sent to Norway to be used in a coastal defence battery and is still there to this day as part of a museum piece.

my PC is an older one its a dual core AMD 2.8 running 4GB ram with a GTI650 Graphics card sporting 2GB video ram I am running windows 7 32 Bit on a spinning hard drive ...havent gone SSD yet. To my knowledge I have the latest drivers installed as this was the first thing i checked following experiencing crashes in the lower tiers i had no issues at all however from tiers V upward i experience long lead times getting into battles and after a few battles the game crashes and stops working . rebooting resets the game but does nothing for the lead times which are up to 2 minutes on occasion and later on after a few more battles it crashes again. Mainly this happens on the following maps "Ocean" and "Neighbours" though i have had crashes occasionally on "Fault line" "Hot Spot" and "Straight" this happens both in the public test and the live game server these crashes are seriously impacting gaining credits and XP especially on high tier battleships which invariably are destroyed during an in battle crash. So that alone is cause for concern in regard to retaining customers aside from the frustration of having to reboot the game itself.

Hi there looking for some guidance here guys started playing this wonderful game about 3 weeks ago was fine at first but as i get into higher tiers currently VI carrier Independence and tier V actoss Japanese ships and German ships the time it takes me to get into a battle is frustratingly long sometimes my team members have been moving for up to 3 minutes before i get in usually theyre moving on the entry minimap before my blue bar has even started filling up ! clearly this is putting me at a disadvantage and on one occasion i got in just in time to see enemy carrier planes inbound to me and dropping bombs before i could gain speed. can anyone advise me as to the problem I thought it may be my internet speed but i checked it and it seems ok . any assistance would be helpful thanks in advance Sergei Gorschkov

Good idea yes a SSD may also be the way to go

yeah i havent upgraded my PC in a few years now so i guess its time for a rebuild i built this one myself and i know its DDR3 RAM

HMM yes maybe youre onto something there guys it is a PC not a laptop but the systems Athlon 2.8 dual core is not the newest of CPUs but i do have Win 7 32 bit 4 Gb ram a Geforce 2GB Graphics card and sata connectivity inside' it plays WWII online well enough though and thats a resource hog .. might try defragging though not done that in a while and maybe clean the registry up a bit too i will post and let you know what happens thanks
