Stealth fire nerf: "This decision is based on a thorough review of feedback from players and combat tactics used in the game. We have carefully studied your feedback, and we made a conclusion that stealth firing, i.e. shooting from invisibility on open water, causes more pain than profit making gameplay dull; its exclusion will make the game more comfortable to play and fair for all." ^^^[edited], BBaBBie pandering through and through^^^ Wg's constant pandering to BBaBBies is about enough at this point, anytime a BB captain points at something and starts wailing WG [edited]the game over a tiny bit more. note here, I Main CV's then cruisers, stealth fire bothers me a smidge, but at the same time it will make it easier for me to deal with certain dd's if they get a flank on my team and get to me, so balance wise i generally win on this change, but it's going to ruin the game, all because BBaBBies are crying over not being able to see things 15km away to shoot at them, here's a suggestion: have a friend in a DD spot for you... but then, that'd require teamwork, and we can't have that in a WG title, now can we? and i already passed tier 4-5 in cv's so the manual drop removal for those tiers has no direct impact on me, other than players having even less time to learn how to properly play CV's before op tiers, which will make my life easier again, but i am not looking for easier, i don't get better at the game from easy. all in all, the game is filled with enough BB salt, and enough absolutely horrendous players that it's not evne fun now, these changes will only reinforce that situation. but hey, lets just pander to the lowest common denominator, and set our games design based on nobody being able to employ skill. I'm out, F you WG, this game had promise! -
Hello wargaming, i would like ot suggest the implementation of 3 tier 6 skills into the game. These skills should be mutually exclusive (can only ever have one on a given captain) essentially these skilsl should grant +1 charge of one of the ship limited skills. thus a BB might once per game drop a smoke screen, or a DD might use defensive fire once per game etc. or a BB might just get one more repair charge, if that's what they want. sure this is rife with risk of ending with everyone taking the repair crew, but considering the three skilsl in question, i think all of them could be seen taken on all types of ships. just a suggestion, for spicing thigns up a bit.

naggarondd, i am not complaining about torps giving good exp, but my other job is to shoot down airplanes, so why do i gain next to no reward for doing a pretty damned good job of it when i choose the defensive 2 fighters 1 TB option? I mean really, 21 airplanes, losing that many planes all but cripples a langley (they have 30 at the start) that's my issue, I did a bloody good job of defending my fleet against TB's and got second to last exp, because i did next to no damage to actual players (I think it was 2 torp hits or so) edit: this is my opinion of course, not universal truth :p Wg just needs to focus on making the teamwork/defensive options worthwhile, not to the point of being better, but at least raise them to the point of being 'competetive' rewards wise.

I will have to chime in here, playing my langley, wheneve r i play defensively, even if i do really well in the mission, protecting my team from bombers left right and center (wlel only two at a time), i get very low exp, compared to when i field 2 bombers and just blow other players ships up. for comparisons sakes: I had a 2 fighters/1 bomber game, I shot down 21 enemy aircraft (that's 3.5 wings, more than a full loadout from an on tier carrier) and had a few torp hits, gained about 600 xp and 46k silver vs 2 bombers 1 fighter where i killed a bs anda carrier, as well as had a few more hits on other ships and shot down a few aircraft and got 1600 xp and 102k silver. If i remember correctly neither battle had daily bonus seems disproportionately bad to take the teamwork option here, you're literally sacrificing your own advancement, in favor of helping everyone else survive the battle, i would like to see shooting down airplanes grant some amount of exp, so the two choices are somewhat evenly rewarding.
