I did not forget it, I intentionally made 3 options, to make the results easy to interpret.

Is there an old sound mod?
-
If Impero was too powerful, then make it a T9 premium for coal.

The vote was designed to give you a few options, to make the results easy to understand. If I tried to figure out 10 different opinions people might have then it would look like a big mess. You can write any details in your post.

What I don't like: - The sound of explosions I made on a distant ship. - The ricochet sound, it feels like somebody was shooting at beer cans with a handgun, not like a ship being struck by shells of a 15 inch gun. These two break my immersion, and make the game have a low quality feel, that I wouldn't dare to show to other people. Also planes sound like recorded during a contemporary air show. Not like WW2 bombers or fighters.

My comment was not against co-op. The OP wanted things to be much more easy, like having same tier match making. I deducted that they were the kind of player who wants it really easy. I don't want the game to go into that direction, I play it because it's hard.

Most people like this game not because it is easy, but because it is hard.

Scharnhorst: 75% winrate during a week after purchase, now 30%
Ocsimano18 replied to HassenderZerhacker's topic in General Discussion
Teams vary wildly nowadays. I get over 70% WR on some days, then around 35% the next. -
Yesterday evening, I saw a stream from Carbine Carlito (he has about 60% WR) where he played one top and one bottom tier game with her. 130k+ damage and a win in both of them:

Tirpitz has even less precise guns, Odin is better at distance. Odin's guns are excellent against cruisers. I saw the videos, and know the guns from Agir. Agir guns are even better, but you can get closer with Odin, and it's tier8 to begin with. Also, as for the armor, I had more bounces when shooting Odin with Massachusetts guns. I usually get hard hits on Tirp/Bismarck. It needs some knowledge to use those guns. If you had Scharnhorst, Agir, or even Prinz Eitel, then you know how to use low caliber guns. Most newbies don't know. Also, with Tirpitz, it gets 50+ games to get used to not yolo rush to get your torps released. Most Odin players don't have any Tirpitz experience.

It's a T8 premium BB, they would normally charge around 12500 doubloons for her upon release. If you think it to be trash then don't grind and pay for it, like you would ignore any new premium you consider as trash. Personally I want to get the ship, as an updated Tirpitz. I have 400+ games in Tirp, and a new take on it would be refreshing. The grind requirements are beyond my normal play, asI have to do a lot of co-op games, I would not do otherwise, but it's kind of acceptable amount of required gametime, and it was my choice to get it for 3500 doubloons, instead of the for the 8000 doubloons starter pack. Also I got around 3000 doubloons this year from free supercontainers, Twitch prime and other stuff, so it's basically free. Graf Spee is not compensated with doubloons as WG would cut off any revenue from Veterans, who already have that ship. Also, Graf Spee as a second prize is for relatively new players, who don't have enough fleet variety to do the full grind. The Puerto Rico event was morally unacceptable, but this one is fine. I'm more annoyed by the sound disaster coming with the latest patch along with WG's stinginess with the iron cross camos. Which one is better, a bargain T8 premium for 3500 doubloons, or an overpriced fluff for 7500?

I saw Flamu's latest OP hype about the ship, but I can't believe this guy anymore. He spins things to get higher views. The 15 sec (or18) is useless against DDs. The shells do not work at long range due to scaterring, and long range fight is 70-80% of T10 games.I'm not saying the ship has no merits, but it's not the tech tree Stalingrad. Also Flamu admits that it won't replace Stalingrad or Venezia in competitive modes. People will get used to it and angle against her.

I would suggest to get to tier 5 as soon as you can and learn the game there. I've had a tier4 match today, as I started my Des Moines grind. It felt like WG unleashed the hell there. I'm a seasoned carrier player and have no issues playing a DD or any other ship in CV games, at least ain T5+ games. At T4 you have no AA in a double carrier match. Also there were a couple of bots to fill up the ranks, as it was around 8am. I was able to dodge the CV attacks with minimal damage up till the endgame, but not so the other players having a few hundred games under their belts. They cannot keep up even against the average CV players who lurked there. The endgame was 2CV vs 2CV, except that I was also there, the sealclubber by happestance. I killed one CV, and heavily damaged the other, but could not withstand the attacks from two squadrons at the same time. I was killed and it was a one CV vs one CV endgame. This basically kills the game below tier5, and directly hurts WG's revenue by chasing new players away. The situation is not managed because the beginners don't come here to complain on the forums, and the veterans don't play much below T5.

I've checked your stats. You've horrible damage numbers. I suggest you to play tier 5, and perhaps some tier 6 ships only, before you improve. You should make 50k damage with a BB, as a beginner, and 30-40k with a cruisers. You should learn basic things, like angling your ship against enemy ship, and giving a proper lead for shoots. It takes more than a hundred random games. As an analogy for progression in the game: Witth 500 random battles, you're the 14 year old who starts to understand the world. With 1000 games, you're the 18 year old, who are considered an adoult but still has to see the world. With 2000 games, you're the 25 year old, who feels more confident. With 5000 games, you're the 30 something, who may or may not be an expert, but still can learn new things. With 10000 games, you're the 45 year old expert. Also, as others suggested, play BBs, CAs and DDs, too, to learn their mindset. Understanding DDs, for instance, will improve your BB play, as you'll know what to expect. You have Atago and Z39, which are very good ships, but require more experience to make them work. They're not beginner friendly. I suggest you to get some T5-T6 coal ships from the armory. October Revolution is a fine T5 BB and teaches you much about not showing your broadside. Aigle is a fine DD, teaches you smoke firing and basic DD operations, just have expert marksman and concealment expert captain skills for her. Don't spend more money on high tier premiums, before gaining much more experience. Also, getting the T6 Arizona with the 25% coupon from the armory would have been a fine first premium for money. If you play tier7 and tier8 games before learning more about the game, you'll make the game less fun for your team mates, and yourself. The basics should be learnt around T5 (normally even before), where most of the players are still beginners, with some seal clubbers and new line grinders mixed in. As for your original question: 1. grind the US BB line. Yes, they are slow, but sturdy, good to learn the basics of BB gameplay. 2. grind the UK heavy cruiser line. They are more forgiving vs mistakes because of the heal, but will teach you to angle against broadside hits. 3. grind the UK DD line. They have strong guns and hydro, giving you an edge over enemy DDs. They have short smokes that teaches you to not sit in your smoke till you get torped, which is a bad habit that all DD players do when learning the game.

She will be nerfed just before a new cruiser line release. WG wants you to grind the latest shiny new thing to keep up revenue and player count. AP bombs were nerfed just before the German carrier release. Venezia was nerfed to make people grind Petro.

Agirrr is a good ship: Irian co-op: Phase 15 complete for free. -
1. UI change is half baked, ship XP is missing. 2. Sound change is a complete disaster, immersion breaking and makes me don't want to play 3. Port graphics update: Looks nice but a bit too much for my taste (like a cake with too much sugar) 3. New carriers at T4 and T6 are trash, T8 looks fine but you are not likely to get her without paying 4. T10 perma camos are nice, but you won't get them without paying way over the regular 5000 doubloons price 5. More missions are ok to get free signals and camos, (new German camo is nice looking and has nice 200% FreeXP bonus) without too much effort. 6. Tallin seems to be lackluster (it is now available for research) 7. AP bomb nerf: yet to see it 8. Venezia nerf: yet to see it

I'd appreciate a hotfix as an answer.

I had an FPS capped at 75, with the highest setting in the previous patch. Now it drops even below 30, with the same 1440p resolution. I appreciate any graphics improvement, but this one seems to be not optimized at all.

Fragmentation is that the data is written on different parts of the disk, not into one continuous space. With traditional HDD, the reading head should move back and forth on the disk to collect the different fragments which takes a lot of time. With SSD, it's electronic and happens fast even with high fragmentation. Also a defragmentation shortens the lifespan of SSD, as it creates additional write cycles. Summary: 1. Defragment your HDD regularly 2. Never ever defragment your SSD Edit: I don't understand the down-vote.
