It seems that Tallinn was over hyped.

The niche would be versatility. More accurate than Tirpitz at range and better brawler than NC. Master of none but can be adapted to the situation. By the way, how Lenin is accurate? Doesn't it has the Soviet dispersion?

The internet issue can have many root causes. It can be on your side, on the server side, or in between. You should not exclude one, without checking it out. I also experienced WiFi disconnects besides gaming lags.

There will be always ships that are OP relatively to the others in a given meta. If you remove Enterprise today, you'll remove Massachusetts tomorrow. If you remove all premiums, then you'll have OP tech tree ships...

Even if they cap the center, it does not give them points as long as anybody of your team is in the cap. So 30 sec delay is not a big issue. Obviously, WG is not responsible for people taking coffee breaks while waiting for the battle to load up. The issue with this map is that about half of the player base has no clue about the importance of cap control. They would prefer a shooting game without any caps. I think we should not dumb down the game to their level. Personally I use the chat to tell people to go into the caps, which works fine most of the time.

I completely ignored the Pay to Rico event beyond the Gorizia. They promised to do it better this time, so this is their last chance to regain our trust.

The problem can also be at home. Many people bought new routers because of Covid congesting the WiFi channels further. I also experienced severe ping spikes and disconnects that I was able to fix. Of course, there are also server overloads, but you should investigate your home setup, too.

Massachusetts was also a special design. Let's make a secondary brawler for the Americans. Nerf the NC guns to the ground (sigma 2->1.6), put on some low penetration meme secondaries. They are too weak, let's buff the precision. The ship has too weak armor for brawling, let's buff the HP recharge. Nobody (including the designers) expected that they would get a better ship than Tirpitz in the end.

I don't think it has anything to do with intelligence. I'm not even sure if I still play the game in 6 months. Also, the Puerto Rico was not made available after 6 months. And WG kind of promised a buff if the Odin performs weakly. They did buff the Cossack, and leaving the Odin in a weak state would undermine their revenue from future dockyard events.

Not free. 3500 doubloons and an unhealthy amount of grind for a lot of players.

I haven't got AA defense expert with any ships since ages. With Odin I have 2 within 10 battles.

AA is quite stronk. Still it needs a buff. If not then it's a strong signal to not grind any more budget ships.

I first I thought it was bugged, because the secondaries did not start firing, but it seems to be a feature. This adds to the budget product feel of the Odin.

With the latest patch they buffed the Paolo to 6km.

With a wired connection you don't have such issues. It's only for WiFi. Wired is better than WiFi for stability.

I agree. Flamu posted a video about how OP it was because of 18 sec stealth radar and Russian bias. Personally I found its lightcruiser armor and HE-DPM quite lackluster. Also I don't see it as a meneace to DDs with 15 (or 18 sec if you have too much coal to spend) radar.

The general first impression seems to be that. Some people may figure out how to use it effectively later.

Mine looks like this: You have to type your Router IP address (usually written on the router, or can be googled up if you know the model number) into your browser (e.g. 192.168.0.1). Then you have to type your admin username and password (usually written on the router). Then go to the WiFi menu. You see something like my screenshot. You should give a different name for the 5GHz channel, and set the bandwith and the channel. Use the WiFi Analizer app (on an android phone) to check which channels are empty. Be careful not to change your password and forget it in a week. Also take screenshots of the original settings, so you can restore them if needed.

I had serious lag spikes and disconnects. I changed my Wifi settings today, and so far no issues. I did two things on my router yesterday (and a third one earlier): 1. Changed the 5GHz channel width from 80->40MHz, this seemed to vastly increase connection stability, and also provided a stable bit rate of 100+ Mbps. 2. Moved my 5GHz band to the upper edge of the whole channel. My neighbors used the lower channels disturbing my signal. You can use the WiFi Analyzer mobile application to check which channels are less congested. Also, set the channel selection to manual in your router. 3. I separated the 5GHz channel from the 2.5GHz one, as the 2.5GHz was very congested by my neighbors. Now I have no interference on my high speed 5GHz WiFi. This is an illustration for the WiFi Analyzer (at 2.5GHz, quite congested): At 5GHz, you have vast empty spaces (you have 3 tabss for 5GHz) : The above channels are 20MHz wide, but you can use 40MHz wide channels if there are a lot of free spaces like for 60 or 64 on the image above.

Most of these T9 ships are designed to be FreeXP sinks in WG's revenue model.
