I run IFHE, and it's very ineffective in ranked. There are a lot more BBs than cruisers. Against BBs the fire chance is more important. I was against another Massa. She set two fires on me, I damage controlled, then she set three fires on me. Game over.

I was care-free in my Massachusetts, till I bumped into other well played Massachusettses, and carrier focus at rank 10. I play cruisers since. I feel happy again.

He wasn't using it because it was strong, but he preferred it over AP-ing angled BBs. His strength was killing DDs and yoloing BBs.

I watched Daniel Rusev doing Odin ranked yesterday. Nothing fancy, he just used it as a workhorse. He used a lot, I mean a lot of HE against DDs and angled battleships and only switched to AP when cruisers were broadsiding a lot and for close encounters with BBs. The build was full sec plus concealment, neither fire prevention nor basics of survivability.

That's the point. Skilled players are more likely to get OP ships than the average Joe.

The question is how much OP is it in itself.

Where are you more likely to find the unicum CV player? In an Enterprise or in a Lexington? I don't have the data, I'm giving you additional explanations that can be verified if someone has the time and data to do it. Neither you have proof that Enterprise players have the same skill level as any other class. I can give you proof that NC players in ranked are less skilled than Massachusetts players. Just check the list of top players in each class for this season. I guess you can do the same for CVs.

RTS CV players who remained CV players even after the rework have much higher skill level than the average rework player. It's about averages over all players.

Let's say Enterprise has 60%WR. If the average player would play it, it would be let's say 55%, and we have +5% because of the skill of the players who use it. The numbers are made up. With yourr words, it would be OP, but not wildly OP, in the hands of average CV players.

It was available for a short time after the CV rework. The people who bought it were more interested in CVs, and were/became more skilled.

There are two factors that make a ship OP. The ship itself and the players. Unicum players tend to choose OPish ships making them more OP. Enterprise was accessible for a limited time, their owners are much better skiled than the average CV player, making it even more OP. Look at Smolensk, it had 60%WR for quite a while, now it's below 50% as it became widely available for the masses. Also, Parseval had excellent stats in ranked, probably because its owners are much better skiled as it is esrly access. Also NC has very weak stats in ranked, as the skilled players don't pick it anymore.

We don't need the Kitakami in the the game. But if you put it there, then make it available for coal, so that everybody can be on the fun side of the match, not just on the receiving end.
