If you're comfortable with the T9 pricing. For me it's T8 with 25% discount where my cash fork out ends.

I think it has less chance than having a tech tree carrier from the current containers, and we all know how generous those chances were. And we will have a loads of people ending up with a Hipper, after paying for the premium containers. Thanks in advance, WG.

I only have Aigle and I pretty much like it. I played it in some operations and it performed well, but I'm not really into operations. I feel it's an OP ship for randoms. Basically it's a mini smoke cruiser, with usable stealth torps. I have even seen top clans using 4 Aigle 2 Leander and a Ryujo combo for the current CB season. It has pretty slow turret traverse, so pick the turret traverse module for your third slot, instead of the dispersion one.

Ranked grind, co-op grind, T9 grind, Benham grind, etc... Lot of time spent beyond your normal enjoyment. I'm willing to spend reasonable amount of money to actually have (more) fun when playing the game. If the game is all fun for you, then you don't need to pay, I agree with that. I doubt, however, that that is the case for most of us. I can give you my example. I had to play more than 70 games in the Myogi, when I started playing, to unlock the Kongo and the RTS Hosho. Myogi is one of the low points of the game and you never ever want to play 70 games in it. Later I was grinding the Nagato that did not suit my playstyle back then, and was a completely unenjoyable grind. Also, whenever the game gifted me a few days of premium time, I was obliged to play beyond my enjoyment just to make a good use of the premium time. Then I decided to buy the Tirpitz (after testing it for a few days) and one year premium time. My enjoyment of the game increased tenfold. I spend around 70 Euros per year on the game, which is reasonable compared to the pricing of other games. I think that I still have to play too much to get the latest stuff and fighting a constant battle against the behind the scene psychologists wanting more and more of my money and time. I'm not against people who don't pay anything, but my play/life balance is better by paying some.

I'm not a wallet warrior. There are no such thing as a free to play game. You either pay with your time or with your money. I already play much beyond my level of enjoyment because of grinding. I try to balance between reasonable amount of playtime and reasonable amount of paying. I compare my spending with other non free to play games where I played the same order of hours yearly. I don't pay more here than I'd pay for other games. I ended the free to play life when I had to play countless hours in ships that I don't like to play, and when getting free premium days had too much influence on my normal daily schedule.

Doubloons are not hard to get for money, coal is much harder to get, if you have a job. Even if you have the minimum wage, it's about 1 hour work to get the captain. Getting 35000 coal on the other hand... Also, with the coupon you can get Georgia for about 130000 coal, so 4 captains, To get Georgia for money, it's 20000 doubloons, like 13 captains.

Well, WG nerfed balanced ships to please the public (i.e. Venezia), so it's ok to buff one, especially if WG wants to see people investing in future dockyard events.

Enterprise is brokenly OP, I would not say the same for other CVs. I'd rather say Loyang is brokenly OP among DDs.

For tier6 buy the T61 and the Arizona. For tier8, the Atago, Massachusetts, Mainz, Cossack are good buys. Anyway use your 25% armory discount, so buy one now, and the next for Christmas, along with the 50% discounted one year premium time. Last year we got additional 20%, 15% and so on coupons around Christmas.

Nice writeup about the random series. I think that the issue is that the games are often decided by one or two players. Like if the Loyang guy is on the red team, then you can expect your Benson or Kagero guy to suicide in the first 5 minutes. Similarly, if the Enterprise guy is on the red team, then you can expect your Z23 guy to lose half of their HP before getting into the closest cap.

New ships don't have a discount. It's the same with every other products. When a new smartphone comes to the market, it's more expensive than 9 months later.
