It caused stuttering. I could not aim properly, because they ships were kind of jumping from position to position.

I had ping issues a week ago. Restarting my router solved the issue.

Personally, T8 is my favorite tier and I enjoyed playing a variety of ships. My goal was to reach rank6, while having a fun experience. I mostly managed to do that. What I did not like: playing against Enterprise, Loyang, and Akizuki. Enterprise is obviously broken, Loyang's hydro is broken against the average DD player, Akizuki HE spam is annoying. Also I had severe ping issues for a week, resulting in unenjoyable games. I liked the maps and enjoyed playing ships like NC, Irian, Atago. Had some fun with Massachusetts and played some Cossack games when I got frustrated with our Kagero getting butchered by Loyang, while I was playing a BB. I wished to enjoy my Roma, but abandoned this endavour after four losses. I also liked the better quality of players from rank 10, compared to random battles.

My first impressions are that the maps are less claustrophobic than for the tier7 ranked or the tier8 sprint. The 7 vs. 7 format gives more chance for the skilled players. Also the queue is full of BBs. Your thoughts?

I have a lot of good ships in port that I have not been playing for ages. I'll try to get the victories in random, just to play the oldies again.

You forgot to mention Marceau.

But Shima has the best concealment. You don't need to smoke up in caps, just have to sit there naked. Also, you can outspot other DDs by a vast margin.

Yugumo and Shima are the highlights of the line. Play Yugumo with the reload booster. I rarely use smoke on my Shima, as I learned to live of my concealment. I lend my smoke to Minos and the likes. I only used the 20km torps for the arms race mode, otherwise the 12km one are fine. Try to go to the cap with 0 or 1 radar ship at max. Also, ask for focus fire on radar ships.

Ranked gameplay beyond rank 10 is still better than randoms. I played both of them over the weekend, and random is terrible with pink Blyskas cruising at the backline behind BBs.

Obviously, nobody would care about the Somers, and a lot of people will watch the video because of the CC.
