I have both, but did not play Vlad recently. Forward facing turrets, unnerfed gun accuracy and premium status speak for Lenin. Vlad has better HP. Vlad felt OP, but I did not go back after having Kremlin. Lenin feels addictive.

There is another thing to consider. You don’t want to use all you silver income for coal. You need it for new ships, modules, and maybe for signals. You should only consider your disposable silver income, which is close to zero for non premium players and can be excessive for veteran premium players.

You should also consider future auctions for silver. If you deplete your silver now, you can regret it later. Further, you should not only consider how much 100k coal worth for you, but also how much it worth for the other players. You can only deduce the real price from that and decide if it is a good deal for you. I mean if 26k silver is enough then spending 100k is wasting your future unknown opportunities.

We only know about one case, the Santa crates, where RNG was manipulated. The shortlists were announced first, but the information was removed later. It’s not about relativizing the impact, but WG is full of dirty tricks to increase sales, but we saw no example of manipulating game mechanics. Also my reaction is not to buy more signals, but to spend even less credits on signals. I first learned to play without priority target, now I learn to play without signals. They are not an essential part of the game. Specifically, if you get detonated, it’s annoying for the whole team. If WG wants to annoy the playerbase then who am I to prevent that.

It reminds me of the recurring “daily coal rewards nerfed” topics. Sometimes you’re picked by bad RNG and attribute it to WG. Not that we have never ever heard of Santa crates rigging, but sometimes it’s pure RNG.

I stopped using detonation flags since a couple of days, and no dets so far despite playing mostly Jutland.

I started to put limits on my signal usage. I did ranked Jutland with zero combat signals and random Lenin with zero combat signals. Both went well a couple of times. So no hassle, life is great without signals.

I have no grudge against CV players in general, but this one was sort of exceptional. They did not like my playstyle and intentionally attacked me, their own DD in game.

I moved to the silver league to enjoy my T8/T9 ships that I prefer to play over T6/T7. Bronze was quite relaxed, I could easily advance playing BBs. I started to play BBs in ranked silver, but with 3 DDs per side the outcome was too much random. I switched to grinding mostly radarless tech tree cruisers, with varying succes. Lastly, I started to play Jutland and began to advance finally. Ranked silver is toxic right now, filled with smug try harders, vengeful CVs mixed with match spamming weak players. I think it takes one or two seasons to have some relaxed silver matches.

They blamed me for losing the game, when it was still open and they started to attack me.

Notorious is synonym for ill-famed, infamous. At least I used it in that sense.

Not that I believe in a conspiracy, but every second business decision by WG undermines their long term profitability. An influential group might be doing the same on global level.

My impression is that Muricans open their wallets more freely and WG caters them as there is a big revenue growth potential there.

I agree that he did not produce quality content. I also think that his comparison was inappropriate because it blessed some people, but loosing your liberties is a valid concern. The world is full of people/organizations like WG, if they have an opportunity to exploit you a bit more, they wouldn’t hesitate to do so. We have this saying that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

He did not demand respect for being veteran. You can watch his video. He did a very bad PR move with his twitter posts, and WG has reasons to kick him out from the CC program, but he’s not terrible as a human. Also compare his reaction to that of Flamu when being kicked from the CC programme. No regrets, no apologies, no humility...

Zoup mentioned organizing charity events for veterans. Also WG gave some patches and a few lootboxes to US veterans, which you could not think of happening in Europe.

I think that the being OP and too popular line from WG is just smoke and mirrors to sound nice to us. They are after making more profits. Releasing the Black for high coal price, along with a bunch of premium shop event containers and pay and grind dockyard coal schemes would make the re-release quite profitable. They can retire the ship to Christmas containers after cashing in, citing the popularity and OP arguments.

What I understand from Zoup’s behavior, in the US veterans are treated as someone who made personal sacrificies for his country, it’s something respecred by others, similarly to a poorly paid teacher, who makes personal sacrifices for the good of others.
