That’s a general issue with LWM’s presentation of any statistics. She invests a lot of work that we all appreciate but then presents the results in a messy way. I don’t expect scientific rigor, but some trend lines that you mentioned.

I have more T9 premiums that I can practically play in a day, and I did not spend money on them apart from buying premium time. What they offer to players who quit playing is what I can already do in the game, playing some T9s. I don’t think that anybody can reasonably expect Missouri dropping from these containers. And even if it drops, it’s just another T9. This is to say, that probably most of the guys getting the mail are in a similar situation. I’m absolutely not envious of guys getting the mail. Also, in six months, while they were not playing, I can get more than a T9 premium for free. I am only envious about these guys because they did something better than playing the game for 6 months.

Subs are rare sight in ranked, as of today, maybe in every 3rd or 4th game you can encounter one. They have negligible impact on the outcome of the battle and can be killed easily. By the way, the T6 ranked is a total noob fest, the quality of the gameplay is frightening.

As a cruiser you should be shooting at DDs, I think...

People, you don’t understand. They don’t want to sell you the Missouri. They want to sell you the hope of getting the Missouri. Once you have the Missouri, you no longer want her. How can you monetize hope? By lootboxes that only give the Missouri at the very end, but lot of people buy a couple of them anyway, just to try their luck. You get the money, without actually giving away the item of desire.

I don't want to defend them, they aren't an ethical company for sure, but there is a reason why they are doing what they are doing. Drug dealers are guilty for sure, but so as consumers and other people letting them consume whatever they want.

You are saying the same with different words. Regular sales don’t bring enough, gambling brings in the money. It’s not them but us, they just adapted to the market.

That’s why WG puts exorbitant prices and lootboxes into the game, because the generic player is not willing to pay a reasonable price for a good ship.

His final verdict is to not spend money on the ship, but it’s based on his feelings. He tells once that Mainz has more guns, and he did not manage to get citadels in his second game, but he did not notice shooting HE just before his complaint. He does not compare firing angles, durability or agility to the Mainz. He made 83k damage in his first bottom tier game and 105k damage in his second top tier game, where he finishes the game with a potato rush against two smoked up Edinburghs. He also admits that he would probably have better results by learning the ship, especially how to do airstrikes better. The whole video feels rushed, a big part has no sound at all.

Well, this was clear from the get go. They intentionally make vague descriptions to boost sales. They did it on many occassions, and anyone having learned a bit about writing knows how to communicate without vagueness. The issue is that people accept BS explanations, when they seem to explain events. People, this is a training ground for you to recognize BS in more important situations than a cheapo game (compared to how much can you lose on believing BS in real life).

I already have Mainz, and it wasn’t cheaper. D7P has heal, and better armor. Mainz has torps, but you can use them very rarerly. Also the gun arcs are terrible on Mainz, you can only use a few guns safely. I’m yet to see how D7P performs in my hands, but I don’t see her underpowered, based on non edited gameplay videos.

There were very few CVs in ranked gold, and they were not overly influential.

Personally I don’t find them more boring than playing co-op in general. I play co-op only to finish some missions quicker and to test some ships. I know that there are a lot of co-op only players who enjoy this mode, and their fun was ruined.

Man, watch the last minute, I even gave the time marker. You believe somebody telling something when you can actually check it.

The issue is not the subs in co-op, but players with 200 battles and sub 45%WR running them. Stop giving out T10 subs to noobs. When I play subs, the last remaining ship is a CV or BB. It’s not that hard to find and sink subs when you know what you’re doing.
