This is a game. Open maps, especially Ocean is abou long range shooting that a lot of players detest, including me. I like brawling, playing around the terrain, like breaking line of sight. I detest camping, and I’m almost always on the move, or bow in in strategic position.

I’ve seen a couple of Schlieffen videos yesterday. She seems to be a nice brawling ship.

I hate open maps, especially Ocean. It’s worse tactically for most players than the epicenter.

Rochester is in the Asia shop, and will be in EU shop soon. She’s an US heavy smoke cruiser, like the Anchorage, but with much better reload, no torps, better rudder shift, turning, and better concealment.

Impatient people who cannot wait a week will directly buy her for cash. That’s increases the revenue.

The bonuses and price price of Type 1 and Type 2 camouflages changed: The camouflages now grant -3% to the ships' Detectability and +4% to the attackers' shells dispersing. The camouflages price increased from 7500 to 22500 credits. We work on the separation of exterior elements (e.g. camouflages, signals) from the economic bonuses. Irian has only 2x5 13km torps, with reload booster and still can hit something. We’re speaking about 4x5, if there are no CVs around, it can really flood a flank.

Ok, another one. Standard battle, two brothers. I was pushing the red cap, killed some reds, turned back to defend our cap, killed some reds, came out on top of our team, was reported 2x times. Isn't that toxic?

I like the Roma, I don’t have the GC. I also like the Caracciolo, otherwise the tech tree line was unremarkable. The T8 is much worse than Roma because of the 1.6 sigma and the gimped damage against DDs. Same for Lepanto, she is gimped against DDs, and killing DDs has the most influence on your WR. Also, the guns on Lepanto miss too many salvos. She would need 1.7 sigma, I think. I’ve just unlocked the Colombo and went only one co-op game with her. The gun performance was lackluster, I shoot a T9 cruiser several times with SAP, and the damage was mediocre. The 360 degree turret traverse is promising, but she is also gimped against DDs. I have the Marco Polo, and I like her, but her performance is lackluster. She would need to be stronger against DDs, and have smoke. Also, the secondaries of the whole line needs to be buffed to French level. The current secondaries do nothing.

I was shooting at several Carnots with BBs today, and I can say that they are quite tanky.

Actually, I don’t find the RB ships more interesting than the coal ships. Napoli and Carnot are much more appealling to me than Druid or Vamp II. Also, Pommern is more fun than Ohio. Marceau is also cool.

I was away from the game for a couple of weeks. This was one of my first random games. If you spend some time in a normal environment, you quickly forget how toxic are some players are here and you don’t understand why they are doing it. You guys can turn your logic in fancy directions to show how I was responsible for the loss, or how am I immature and don’t understand things. But the message was that this whole thing is toxic and you should adjust your behaviour. I guess that the vast majority agrees with my point of view.

I was also sitting on 2.5. million FreeXP. I’ve just invested some into a double reset giving me some 44k research points (I do the resets when there is X2 bonus that I stack). I will get the Siegfried in a month, when I get the missing 450 research points from the missions. As I reset the Japanese torp DD line, it costs me about 1.4 million freeXP, and some credits. Having a premium account, I’m not short on credits, so in tthe end, I get a T9 cruiser for 1.4 million freeXP. Somewhat inflated compared to 1 million for a freeXP ship, and you have to do all the hassle with the resets, but this seems to be the best way ro spend your freeXP in the current situation.
