Let’s say you have opened 6 super containers from snowflakes with 5x1000 doubloons, and farmed another 1500 from ranked, and bougth 5000 doubloons with your anniversary coupon, giving you another 5000 as a cashback, then you paid less than 15 euro.

I have both JB and Alaska. I played JB more, as I prefer BB play over cruiser play. Also, I like Siegfried/Agir more than Alaska, although that Alaska is a bit stronger than Agir. What I don’t like about Alaska is that you need to help your team with your radar, i.e. be close to the cap, while your team not always capable of killing the DD, so you sacrifice your positioning for nothing, which is frustrating. Secondly, the American shell arcs are a bit frustrating. You can get used to it, but still. Thirdly, I always ask myself, while I play Alaska when I could play Georgia with more tankiness and firepower. It was nice to have her for free, but I would feel a bit of buyer’s remorse if I had to pay for her. JB is a solid BB, much better experience than the Strassbourg. It’s a super Richelieu. If you have the Rich, and like her, then JB feels like the luxury version. As a BB main, I’d go for the JB.

If I check the stats on the post battle screen of a player making bad moves, I usually find that their WR is about 45%, so I can’t blame them for playing badly. Occassionally, it’s an 55+% guy who makes a bad move. I can’t play them either, I also sometimes make bad moves. If you want to have a better team, then move up to ranked silver and gold, you’ll see less blatant mistakes there.

WG announced on today’s stream that the certificates are counted and a fix is coming soon to make it visible in game.

You can see if you have the snowflake on your T10 ships. Count the ones without a snowflake, that equates the number of certificates you collected.

As a regular random player with 59% WR over the last 3 weeks, I rarely score above 2500baseXP. I mean, once in a blue moon, so completing that mission is purely luck, even for veteran random players.

The only reason to get this ship is to avoid pulling her from a supercontainer. But that’s only interesting for whales, who have most of the ships. This is not a ‘Lidl’ version of GC, this is the ‘Poop’ version of it.

An 55% WR player is much more skilled than a 45%WR guy, still they both lose about 5 games out of 10. I personally play to win and continuously improve my WR, but I don’t see it as an ultimate goal for everybody. Some are just out there for having fun while shooting stuff. These people complaining about bad players and doing ‘animal research’ might have good skills in this game, but have very bad people skills.

This is what you think about Kearsarge, before having her, but in reality this looks different. You only get your first planes after two minutes, unlike CVs, who get them immediately. Also, by cruising the entire map with your planes, you loose a lot of valuable time while you could have blapped a yolo cruiser, damaged the red DD, or did something more useful. The planes are fine, but not because of strategic spotting, because of the time loss, and because of your average teammates do not benefit from this information, they continue on their set course. Maybe in ramked silver, early on, or ranked gold you have appropriate teammates, or if you play in division. I mean, you can use the spotting for yourself, it’s not bad, but it’s not as an OP as having a radar. I consistently go over 100k with Kearsarge, damagewise she’s on par with the best BBs. I’m impaired in my influence on winning, because I can’t get close when needed. She is for someone who has above average skills/experience, but cares more about damage than about winning the game. I have similar feelings when playing the Yoshino, I can play well, rack up nice damage, but the final outcome of the battle is 50-50%, independently of what I do.

Kearsarge=long to mid range (never get close) Marco Polo= mid range Pommern= close range (never snipe)

Kearsage can do a lot of damage, but have a high skill floor. Marco Polo is still a bit underwhelming, may need some additional buffs. Pommern is famine or feast. If you can brawl, then you make lot of credits, but she’s underwhelming in games with long range shooting. If you’re a pro, the Kearsarge makes the most money, but if you’re a beginner then you might be better of with Marco Polo, as she’s a generic battleship. If you’re a brawling addict, then go for Pommern. Also if you’re already grinding a line for one of these nations, then you’re better of choosing that nation for your premium ship, to accelerate captain training, too.

It’s like you don’t need Musashi, as you can have the Yamato, which is a better ship. Same for Yoshino/Azuma. By the way, my Musashi has 10% worse winrate compared to my Yamato, so personally I did not need her.

My first match since the new patch was a 6 DD vs 6DD (and 6 other ships), on each side. It was an arms race. I had the usual match making, since.

I’m not using mods.

I don’t want to be a show stopper, but when I’m in the battle, I don’t notice much difference in the graphics, except if I focus on the scenery, or zoom into the water, that you obviously don’t do normally. On the other hand, I notice the performance degradation because of more frequent frame drops using the same settings. Basically I try to follow the crowd and enjoy the graphics upgrade, but I can’t. I have a 28” screen with 2k, so it’s not that I don’t see the details. Also the port screens, like when you put signals on, or change the equipment, have became quite laggy, compared to the much more smooth experience we had a day ago. PS: most of my settings, including the port clock, ship names, crosshair, and the graphics were reset and I had to set them again. I don’t understand why this was needed. PS2: The Phillipines port looks nice, but I don’t remember how it was before.
