There was a rental campaign, I think in 2020, where you could try out a bunch of ships, including the Mutsu, for credits.

I also opened Tone from the Twitch Prime loot. Had a random match up-tiered to T10. The gunpower felt lacking and the planes are kind of joke, as the torps are very wide spread, but the concealment is phenomenal. I was even matched with a T10 DD and did the capping for the team .

I dn’t have the Brandenburg, but she seems to be the best pick on your list. I also love the Roma, like many others, but she has a lot of haters.

These are the stats from last week. Azuma has the highestwin rate. When she came out, the popular opinion was tha she was meh. People since discovered that the better heal and the same guns work better at T9, than the hit and miss torps at T10. Also, there is no contest that she is significantly better than the Ibuki. Name/Players/Battles/Battles per Player/Win Rate/…

She’s my goto ship in T6 ranked. Those guns are cruiser killers, and the armour and turning are outstanding. I give her a spin occassionally in randoms, and can even have an impact in T8 games.

When I start a topic, I prefer to not influence people. I usually give my opinion later. I got Azuma from crates. I already have the Yoshino but wanted to get the Azuma, as she’s better tier for tier. I had one battle with her, and I liked it. I got Stalingrad for steel. I tried her in ranked and fell in love at the first sight. She still feels OP despite the nerfs. Will be my next goto ship.

You either opened your 9th mega already, or encountered a bug. I would not open a ticket though, this is a nice haul that you might loose in a rollback.

Chill, I have no issue playing DDs with the saturation bug. The pros all have the SE, the noobs are not an issue even with the bugged survivability.

It’s like lottery. People pay more than what they get back as a win. People still continue to pay hoping to get the jackpot, which is practically impossible, but at least they can hope.

The playstyle of each ship is different. E.g. you might have preferred the Georgia over the Thunderer, or the carnot over the Yoshino, etc…

What are your first impressions?

Had my first battle in the Mighty S T A L I N G R A D : It well worth every hour I spent grinding it. Also, the Ragnar in our team also had her first battle, and the Bourgogne was 10 days old.

If I want to compare something to the Incomparable, then would it be like a T10 Repulse?

I am in similar position, seldom playing CVs, and then it’s the Haku, and I already have the Smaland. Bourgogne plays much more dynamically than the JB. With JB you often play semi static next to a rock. Bourgogne’s playstyle is much closer to that of the Alsace, spiced up with better guns and a reload booster that you are familiar with from the JB. You can use both AP (better from mid to close range) and can set fires easily with HE (not on the level of Thunderer, but strong enough).
