I compared it with my Tirpitz experience. You get more citadels with these guns compared to Tirpitz. The 2.0 sigma shows. Neither of the T8 German ships are comparable to Vladivostok, if that is your standard, but compared to Tirpitz, it's not a bad ship. I also observed the Atago, how quick it was blasted out of existence with these supposedly weak guns.

I don't know this part. I'm in the same situation, sitting on 10.000 research points. I just wonder if I should get the Aegir, or collect some 400.000 more freeXP and go for the Siegfried (I have about 1.000.000 now). I'll wait for the reviews to see which option worth it. I'm not seeing myself actually regrinding a line without freeXP, as I rather grind lines I don't have. I could get 400.000 more FreeXP for the next reset, with my current pace of acquiring it. The other freeXP ships are not really interesting, as I won't pay 2,000,000 FreeXP for a TX DD.

Yes, but you get 20,000 research points once in every three months. So with two resets in 3 months you get 40,000 research points and if you have the initial 10,000 research points, then you can buy Siegfried for about 1,400,000 FreeXP. If you don't have the initial 10,000 research points, then you need 2,100,000 freeXP, but it leaves you some 12,000 research points if you do the resets in 6 months. So the approximate real freeXP price is about 1,700,000 freeXP, and 6 months wait for a T9 cruiser.

If you reset any Japanese DD line then you can get Siegfried for about 1,400,000 freeXP in 3 months (2x double bonusreset) provided that you have the initial 10 000 research points.

Main thing: Ägir: 9 low caliber fast firing guns Siegfried: 6 high caliber guns. Siegfried seemed to be more liked by streamers, but we will see the reviews.

I think the closest poll option is that you plan to grind 18 and buy 2. I though that I was not going to cover all possible choices, but people can select the closest one and write a comment like you did.

You have to balance it, because the sub play should stay enjoyable. I like the fact that you need to move 1/4 speed to recharge the batteries, as it forces them to slow down underwater. I don't know if you need the oxygen besides the batteries, as it increases complexity, and it's already a hard class even for some experienced players. They should tweak this battery life thing more to get them move a bit more to the surface. Or to make it a risk/reward think, if they spend more time on the surface, then they can do more damage later.

I think they were good players because they needed the cap for the win.

Yeah, but what if you already have the T8 BBs you need from the armory and actually enjoyed everything in the Gneisie/Scharny/Bisie/Tirpie family? Then getting the Odin for like 8000 (T8 discounted BB price) is a good choice. You have to grind for sure, but the first four directives for 8 weeks is doable, even if you work. Having clocked 400+ games in Tirpie, I'm tempted.

We had a different experience. I killed surfaced sub at the cap in the endgame.

I played some BB matches in sub mode. Subs are not an issue, except in the endgame, if you have no teammates left who can hurt them. It's a bit similar to a BB vs stealth torp DD endgame. Also, subs have to surface for a long time if they want to cap in the endgame. Same with sub vs CV, if the sub caps then you can hurt her. My only issue was playing CAs in the sub game. I think they also need depth charges to be viable.

There are a couple of things I dislike about Flamu (stats shaming, overdone drama, etc.) but this video was spot on. I regularly went to the center alone as teammates were reluctant to help and went for the 9-10 line instead. Now at least I will have some company.

That's not a good rule, because the final FreeXP and captainXP depends on the amount of XP flags on. So the best use of them is to mount all of them so that the XP flags boost the captain and freeXP flags too. Your reasoning is ok for the credit flags.

You don't get so much credit if you don't demount the modules, because you sell the modules half price and get them back full price. If you demount the modules, then it is 25 doubloons per module. You can just demount the most expensive ones if you need the money. Personally I'm afraid of selling the Moskva, as I have the Unique Upgrade mission ongoing, and I don't want to be bounced by the customer support if they take away the UU mission (or redirect me to finish it in the regrind bureau). It does not worth about 3-4 millions of credits (without the demounts) for me.

This is psychological. If you have all the flags on, you care more about the result. With a Win Rate around 50%, you will lose 5 matches out of then 10, on the average. If you don't have the flags on, you just click next battle after a loss, if you have the flags on, you become extremely annoyed.

This event was stingier in additional stuff, but ok in terms of ships. In previous events I got a tech tree T5 or T6, a T5 premium, a T8 perma camo and a lot of free camos and other stuff. This time I got the T8 perma camo, the T5 premium, much less one use camos and other stuff, and no tech tree ship. The tech tree ship was kinda ok, as it's a T8 now, and I could have gotten it with the 300 token haul, that about 30% in the forum poll was lucky to receive. Also the directive mission requirements for the dragon flags were too high, like 2200+ base XP (and there was a 2500+ or 2600+ one, too) and the 215000+ DMG. It's ok to put those in a 6 month campaign, but for a few weeks, it's not ok. And it's only a few flags.
