It's not a ship for beginners. If you have tons of games in T7/T8 German BBs and liked them, then it's a ship for you.

Well, you don't need to grind the Donskoi again, except if you want the Nevsky. According to the reviews it's not an exceptional ship, so you can skip it. I did not want to grind it first, as I have the Smolensk, but I skipped the Donskoi with FreeXP to grab the UU mission for Moskva before it was moved to the regrind bureau, so I have never played Donskoi and wanted to try it. If it's good then I'll play it, but I'm more interested in the Petro than in the Nevsky.

According to the reviews it's neither strong nor weak and can be fun. It worth 3500 doubloons, but you have to grind your [edited]off to get that price, so it's rather 8000 with the starter pack if you don't play that much. For that price I'd expect a HP buff from WG to get my wallet opened.

There are tons of new ships out in every which way to obtain them. Mainz/Bayard in armory for doubloons, Siegfried in RB, Odin in Dockyard, Agir for FreeXP and in the NA shop., paid only dockyard option to get steel. Is WG desperately needs our money, or what? Edited the title to avoid a ban.

Just sold both Moskva and Kirov with all the modules. Had no legendary/radar module and I want to keep my doubloons. Still have the legendary mission displayed after selling the Moskva, so that's a good sign. Not much money, but I was able to re-buy the Donskoi now (with some additional credits of course) and start my Nevski grind.

I agree that people who had only 5 tech tree lines complete will lose the option for the research bureau. They could change the requirement to 4 completed lines, but then people with 3 lines + Moskva would complain. They could also add a special code to require only 4 lines, if you had the Moskva before the change, but it's not something you want to implement for clarity.

You've a strange definition of new, I've been around for two and a half year and know these currencies. The OP is not to be interpreted literally. Up till now the introduction of new premiums were much more paced out. Now you have tons of new things to spend money on. I don't feel obligated, but the choices are vastly expanded now, which breaks the previous pattern, so there is a reason behind it.

I don't spend 1K per year but bought the Yamato perma camo which later was available for everyone completing a few HSF missions. I said everyone, who will ever get the Yamato could have the most iconic T10 battleship in the game (not some boring Russian paper ship) with premium benefits without dishing out a dime. Was I pissed off? Yes. Did I write to the forum? Yes. Did I started an entitled rant against WG? No. Was I ok with it after some consideration? Yes.

Okish is good enough for me if the ship is fun to play. Tirpitz performs ok-ish compared to some of my T8 BBs, but still a ton of fun to play. So the question is if it is fun to play.

Personally I'd like to have the Viribus Unitis as a cult ship, and also it's related to my home country. I slacked the London grind, I'm not sure if she is interesting to get. I have mixed feelings about the Bayard. Everybody praised it, but when I had the rent and tested it for one battle, we just did not click. This was post IFHE nerf, and I did not have an IFHE captain, so I don't know if it was me or the ship, or we just needed more time together.

He preferred the Siegfried, but he seemed to be uncertain. He explained that the testing process with Agir was a hassle and he got liked the Agir in the end.

You can demount the legendary for 25 doubloons before selling. I think it gets moved to the inventory if you reset the line (read somewhere, on the Wows Wiki I think, but google it up for yourself).

This is about the UU mission preserved if you have the ship in port. It does not say anything what happens with the mission if you sell the Moskva. The question is not just about the wording but about the actual implementation in the software code. If a programmer gets this definition, then he can make a code that keeps you the mission if you have the ship, disregarding the special case of you selling the ship. If that is the case then you will end up in the customer support, who are very polite but bounce your attempts if this was not explicitly worded out (that's based on my prior experience with them).

Summary: 1. If you have the legendary module, demount it for 25 gold and sell Moskva, with or without the modules depending on whether you prefer credits or few times 25 doubloons. You can scale it by demounting only the most expensive modules. Also demount the radar or any other coal modules before selling the ship. 2. If you have the Moskva and don't have the legendary mission, because you got the ship after the legendaries were transferred to the research bureau, then do the same as in point 1. 3. If you want to reset the line, but you have the legendary mission, feel free to reset the line, as the mission is kept after resetting a line. Is it 100% to work? No, but some WG staff promised it on forums. 4. If you have the legendary mission ongoing, can you sell the Moskva and will you get back the mission progress with the premium Moskva? Probably, but it was never explicitely written down by anyone. So for points 3 & 4, follow the posts on the NA forum today, if you want to be on the safe side.

This is an entitlement issue. You bought something which later gets free for all. Does it feel bad for you? Yes. Was WG generous to give free stuff for all? Yes. Anyway, is it free for all? No, only for players who grinded out Moskva. Could WG have transferred the perma camo to Nevsky? Yes, they could, and they could also send Dasha to visit you for a weekend.

Krado, the German streamer prefers the Agir over Siegfried. Agir has cruiser killer AP and good fire chance with the demo expert skill, thanks to the 9 fast firing guns, compared to Siegfried. He also stated that Ohio is a much better research bureau buy. I think I will go with the Agir and not hassle with the reseach bureau stuff.
