I agree that you can have different results based on the definition. My goal was to find one with reasonable amount of manual work, so I used the wows stats page. I like CVs in general, and I liked them in ranked, but felt that it's too specific and not fair to select a dominantly CV player.

I excluded RTS CVs, as they were obviously OP (the stats also reflected it). According to the stats, the rework CVs were much less OP, but still above other ships.

There were only two such players, with an overwhelming number of Gremyashchy/Kamikaze R games. The vast majority of the excluded players were having below 1000 games, and from the above 1000 games the most of the excluded players were dominantly RTS CV players, then some dominantly CV players, and a few players had dominantly tier 1 or tier 2 games. It would be nice to have the best random solo player for Tier10 only, but it's harder to check that.

Compare the two recent ranked games and voice your opinion.

The percentages and bar lengths are strange for the last two (multi choice) questions. For example, from 64 votes 36 people liked the ship choice for Tier8, which is well above 50%, not 36% as displayed. It would be 36% with 100 participants. So check the numbers, not the lengths and percentages for the last two graphs. I found out the reason for the error. The graph counts all answers for all choices. For the second graph, there are 100 answers in total for the 6 questions. So it divides everything by 100, instead of 64, the number of voters. This is wrong for a multi-choice poll.

If you want to have some fun with lower budget then Arizona at T6 is a good choice, especially if you are at mid tier with your silver ships.

Massachusetts: Strong and the most fun ship at the moment, but you need at least a 14 pointer captain to make it work. You can grind the Hit hard Hit fast campaign for Halsey, but his skills are wasted on a secondary ship. Tirpitz: Somewhat power crept but still fun. The guns are wonky at distance. A beast when top tier. Odin: Better guns at distance than the Tirpitz, but less powerful against BBs. Good choice if you do the grind. Lenin: OP, enjoyable, works with a 10 point commander. Drawback: Looks ugly, not good at range.

I watched Flamu's video. There are players who like to snipe from distance, and they are doing it already with less appropriate ships. Now they have a premium to buy. Also it's good for people who want to snipe from time to time. It's not a meta making premium. I'm more bored by how badly Flamu acts as an influencer, and his constant negativity is more dangerous to WOWS than this ship.

I had several issues with the LWM review. She compared California to Arizona. She should have compared it to Colorado, the tech tree alternative. Also, she presented the shell scattering for Arizona (1.8 sigma) and California (1.9 sigma) claiming that there was virtually no difference. I could clearly see the difference. I have the impression that LWM have some basic understanding of statistics, but don't have a practical sense for it. She's right that higher sigma show the benefits over time, but not over several matches, but already in a single match you will have more hits and more citadels. Also, the AA is god tier, even above NC which is the best. My only issue is that I don't really like tier7. When you are matched vs tier5, it feels like seal clubbing, and the tier 9 matches are not fun either. I like tier 7 on the tier7 maps, but I'd rather spend doubloons on a tier 8 ship than on a tier 7.

The ship is designed for the A liners, who already have the perfect playstyle for her, without getting bored. About 20% of the BB population, so there is a market for her.
