    bug- i assume

    Warspite versus Konigberg at 8km range. Konigberg has 642 hits left hit with 2 AP shells causes 1140 hits konigberg sails on with 642 hits left fires its guns at warspite with 2k ish hits left - sinks warspite (no detonation, no fire) Now the first bit is the bug - how can I inflict 1k hits but the enemy ship not lose any. the second is just plain wrong as the konigberg guns should bounce of the warspite for low damage

    AP and Gun Issues.

    I agree with there being an big issue. Just to add something - the physics of the gunfire has changed. When fired the shells fall behind the movement of the firing ship - I.E when you fire broadside at a target that is parallel to you and moving at the same speed you do not need to account for their speed because the momentum of your ship is already in "your" shells - so when you fire they will go straight at the opposite ship - small change for air resistance. However I was broadside to a Wyoming in my Wyoming at 8km and the shell consistently fell behind his ship. not a few yards but 2 ship lengths. This seem to me to mean that when fired the current speed of the firer is not being used to calculate hits. This throws all predictions you make out - or rather back to the drawing board and we all need to learn new predictions. Scatter / spread of shot is also much worse. Same encounter as above I found it near impossible to actually get all barrels to at least straddle the ship. Rear guns fell in front of the ship front guns fell behind or long etc, I had to change the aim point for every turret. - defeats the whole concept of Central fire directors that nations spent millions developing.
