Has this test round always only been supposed to run for 5 days, as is stated in the article (21st - 26th of May), or has the article been changed? I have been of the apparently faulty impression, that I had more then enough time to finish missions. Because of looking at the remaining time displayed in game. As seen in the screenshots people have posted in this thread already, those timings doesn't fit, with the PT already being over. I'm only asking, so I know what to expect in the future. not to cause any trouble. It's been a long time since I last played, and even longer since playing on the test server.

I've just played a couple of rounds with different ships and really don't want to play any more. Seriously wtf is up with these sounds. Some ships have loud cannons, blasting out my ears some are hardly noticeable. some sounds are soft, and then suddenly extremely loud. Some poor sound-guy really need to look for a new job, along with the guys that approved this sound scheme for the game. Furthermore most sounds sound like I'm in a bottle. We need a roll-back sooner rather then later.

I just experienced the same thing. Considering that some maps have been reworked for the update that has just been announced. I read something like "Islands have been moved around based on user feedback". I would imagine that the map model "server side" has been updated to the new map. But "client side" we are still running the old models. Thereby all collision calculations run on one model, and our visuals run on another model, creating these ghost islands. Hopefully WG will realize this and re-roll server side, until the client update is ready for launch.

OP is not the only one with his tinfoil hat strapped tight. I received the exact same mail today, also bought the Japanese Cruiser package to enter the CBT. A couple of months ago, and don't recall it being called "Sky-Sweeper Package". So I checked my bank records. The date of purchase and the price is the same as in the email. So at least for me everything is in order.
