You can get steel w/o playing ranked or clan battles. It's simple, just get enough supercontainers and have 1500 steel in each, easymode.

If you have been around longer, you would have an idea about how much we all are spoiled by WG, newfriend. Expecting consistent level of a service provided is being spoiled.

Well, the simple answer for your simple question is: It makes customers unhappy. If I'm not getting the service I'm used to, I'm not satisfied. I'm not satisfied, I'm less inclined to support the game, or even play it as I used to. Very simple reciprocal mechanic, especially important in F2P game. Is this something they want? I would presume not, but they sure seem to act on it.

What does this mean for WG? Keep the same ammount of customer reward form the last years. The better question is: why would they go back from the last years level?

Or if you have previous experiences from last year years from the same game and same company, perhaps? Downgrading the same yearly events in terms of reward is not the best approach to customers (in my opinion). Of course the WG are free to do as they please - I fully realise that. On another note, is this weekend free of any additional anniversary (or any other) content?

Yes, we will see. Wanna bet that the upcoming Halloween containers will yield much less stuff per buck spent compared to last year? I'm abit skeptic for a reason, the trend is obvious.

So guys, do I understand correctly that there was nothing "special" over the last weekend? Or am I just too dumb to find it? All I found is https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/sales-and-deals/september-missions/ Which doesn't tell anything else but the daily log in rewards and possibility of getting anniversary minicontainers. Is there nothing else for the anniversary? If you compare it to the last year's it's a sad sight indeed. I hope I'm looking at it wrong, any input is appreciated.

Good points. Although the Alaska will still struggle against heavy armour, it will bounce much less on light and medium armour with steeper angles. Penetrating decks with plunging fire might be another plus for Alaska. Personally I would still probably go with russian rail-guns. We will see.

As of now, Alaska has greatly inferior penetration values (not the angles but penetration itself), so I'm not entirely sure about your statement. Left is Alaska, right is Kron:

Poor man's Kronstadt, right comrades? You get better penetration angles for a mere exchange of shell velocity, DPM, health, armour and a few other things.

I stand corrected - it makes sense. So the only question remains - why the hell does harugumo have so much more effective HE DPM. The bigger penetration on smaller guns drives me nuts and makes me regret grinding the Khaba.

You present some good points. Although they are both supposed to be high DPM gunboats right? How is that a different niche? Still, the Harugumo seems vastly superior overall.

You are joking, right? Superb torpedoes, concelament and flanking ability. What realistical advantage does Khaba have? I remain unconvinced.

Better balistic - fair enough, but isn't it mostly a matter of getting used to? Much better at kiting at long range - true Less DPM but much more Fire per Minutes - also does no dmg with his actual shells apart from superstructure. Fraction of the actual DPM of harugumo. Armor - full pen from BBs? Very advantageous. Speed - fair enough Heal or Smoke - fair enough, more like a flavor. Now let me rephrase the question, why would anyone pick Khaba over Harugumo in randoms now?
