I couldn't stomach seeing the head of balance so... headless. You do raise very good points though. Yes, the balance is extremely difficult and never ending struggle. Yes, not everything they do is bad for the game - far from it, I will be the first one to admit it. By OP you mean out of balance, in this case I take it? Again, I do agree, but there are ways to avoid the balance vs the precedent never to touch premium ships - we have seen it many times. Remove it from sale ASAP if it proves too strong. Over time the power-creep and inactive owners will erode the harm it can cause to MM. There is a catch to it though, marketing department executive manager won't be smiling over that idea, that's for sure. And finally yes, it is very easy to judge from afar, I know I couldn't do a better job personally. But what is the alternative? To be compliant with incompetence? Never in the free market environment. Negative Nancy, out.

Thank you again for your time, and let me say, you're right. I did put it dramatically, but in the end the point still stands exactly the same. When the delivered product is not in an ideal shape (to put it mildly), one would expect the company to stand up to it. And imagine the shining perspective of the upcoming grand rebalans of GC on the horizon - again, I realise that, funnily enough, the balance department have probably little to do with the timing (hello marketing department), well... That's a bunch of hard pills to swallow now - it all adds up. Perhaps I'm overstating again, but these pains, as you so lovingly call them, were not necessary. They are very deliberate, vicious and served in just small enough portions so they don't cause any serious damage on their own. I don't intend getting used to them. My frustration is not pointed at you, or @MrConway. As far as I'm concerned, you're doing the best you can to remedy the situation. TLDR: Stop pinching my bottom all the time WARGAMING please!

Does anyone share my feeling that WG is getting very close to collecting all the needed cash data on the performance of certain premium ships to proceed with the rebalanstm ? The precedent is being set as we speak. Once the GC fiasco goes live, the other premiums are soon to follow. Which one it's gonna be in your opinion? My money is on the Belfast, after all WG stated "how big of a shame it is that such a legendary ship can not be bought played by a larger playerbase." Or perhaps you think that the Cesare is a one time matter and all the other ships are safe? Share what's on your mind.

Do you realize that these people keep this game afloat? Go sit in the corner under the neon sign that says "FREELOADERS", my dear.

You're right, my bad. I didn't realize the major patches are once per month (usually). My point still stands though. You say nice, I say @Bear_Necessities Feeling spoiledtm already.

Isn't 0.8.2 at least three months away? So you expect us to spend doubloons to test the meta until it stabilizes. I'm not trying to be a smart-Alec here, it just does not make sense to me to openly state that: Yes, at the moment you are all our testing guinea pigs. No, we won't allow you to respec and demount modules for free. Do I have this right?

Whoopsie? :)

Thank you for your reply. But admitting you're using the live servers and it's players as lab rats without any compensation is indeed very far from magical solution. There are plenty of reasonable solutions to be found on this forum (freezing the premium time, disregarding this test period - statistic wise, etc). Even the free captain respec is long over even though you blatantly state that the live server is one big testing ground now - how does this sit in the grand scheme of things you just presented to us?
-
You would, would you? So you consider your last three patches (including hotfixes) as well tested and based on the feed back on issues voiced by the community? I am sorry, but that is not at all what I see daily on this very forum.

What is the easiest way to farm planes?
Blixies replied to black_falcon120's topic in General Discussion
Indeed, it was a sarcastic post (hard to tell in written form, I know) coupled with the blatant lie WG is presenting on their website. -
Game is currently a mess. What about premium time ?

Have you been secretly employed by WG? :D Classical response. -

Atlanta, obviously. -
It's just my feeling and the quote I've heard on one of the streams. It is still the strongest tier VII cruiser for solo random games by far (IMHO).

PSA: Wichita in shop today, but nerfed version
Blixies replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
My prediction is: The sales of Wichita hit the new time low! The reason must be it's not OP enough. (The actual reason being loss of trust of their customer base and pitiful state of the game itself at the moment). Better make the future premiums as OP as possible without actually breaking the game. Proceed with the GC precedent. Profit. I hope I'm seeing things wrong, but I have to admit the Wg's practices as of late leave a bitter taste in my mouth. In fact, the very reason I switched from War Thunder to WoWs was that Gaijin meddled with premium planes way too often and way too unpredictably. Sellling me a premium vehicle comes with a responsibility (at least that's how I see it, I know it's not legally binding). You foul the whole deal? Fine. Nobody is forcing me to pay or play this game, but do not expect me to support you any longer. I can see why some forumites may see this as whining or an outcry of a spoiled child, and I'm fine with it. I'm just really sad to see my favourite developer taking this path. It does not lead to happy places. -

Another tweak before release but AFTER all the CC reviews? -
My favourite :D

Right. This is a matter of precedence though. Once they heavily "rework" one premium ship just for the sake of balance, what's stoping them from doing it to all the other OP premiums there are? This goes against their previously stated policy and can lead to massive scam-like releases of OP (read profitable) premium ships that get balanced once thier sales reach their WG goal. -
I have watched 5 minutes of that stream and had to turn it off in disgust. That Nelson guy (head of the balance?) sounded like he had no idea what a balance even is. When asked what are they gonna do about the overall effectivity of the CV's he hinted that they are actually pretty lost, because if they make the CV's stronger against AA, majority of players will be frustrated. They simply don't know what to do with the rework. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

Do you even have a faint idea of the provider-customer relationship? Ofcourse WG is not legally obliged to show any friendly gestures towards their customers. Hell, they can even erase everybody's accounts and there would not be a thing we could do. Is this what they're going to do? Fck no! Their goal is thriving business. That being said, do they act like they care for the paying customers? In the humble opinion of this one paying customer - NO. I simply refuse to be treated like trash by this company and will voice my opinion the only way that makes sense to me - I will stop supporting this company financially. Nothing more, nothing less. -
WG just gave me a bunch of free stuff for logging in inc free Premium ships etc!

You don't wanna get spoiledtm now, do you? -
Purely for educational purposes, I have found a live action video of the REEEE, refer roughly to the time 1:30.

This: Play this at your own peril.

Hello thar, after a long time I will have finally time to play some WOWS again, My question is, which CV line is more recommendable to start? I know these are unstable times (with the balancing being still off and such) , but as it stands, does the US CV line even come close to the IJN one? I do have the Saipan, so that's a good incentive to go for the Yanks, but everywhere I go I hear the IJN CVs are overall much better. If you could spare some time and tell me your opinion on the opposing sides of the CV situation, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, how good do you think the Senpai is? Cheers!

And if they're not, at least they are up straight! Also, when did you become an official spokesman for Italy?

A sound advice. I will follow it. Thanks.
