Very true. Kebab can also get penetrated by BB shells (unlike the lower tiers, which can be overmatched only). Not to mention the Tashkent's torpedoes - good range and fast reload. Not the proto-deepwater torpedoes with almost unusable range the Kebab "boasts." >

I'm sure the game can recognize a ship dealing damage while being in a smoke, set by some other ship. It could be rewarded similarly to spotting damage (read: very little, but at least it's something). It wouldn't address the whole issue completely but it's a start.

I'm not saying she is OP there, mate. I'm just predicting an actual WG's reaction to the sales of her, that's all. I have to admit I was pretty bad at it so far. As a matter of Gosh darn fact, I would't buy the Wichita even if she had torpedoes, heal, smoke and twice the penetration of Baltimore, at the moment. The way I see it, no premium ship is safe once the GC precedent tm sets in. They never pulled this off in WoT. Customers always stopped them from stuff like this AFAIK. My personal observation is that WoWs playerbase is much more malleable in this regard. And I'm not excluding myself here, I have spent large amount of money here - money well spent as far as I'm concerned, bought me a lot of fun, both alone, and with my friends. But the line has to be drawn somewhere. For me, it's right here in front of my eyes. I will still play from time to time though, can't get the ever growing stack of "reparations" in doubloons go to waste completely now, can I?
