No problem with striking Grozovois in Lexington either. They are plump and eat a lot of rocket damage. My record is 8500 with one strike on a Grozo, he was not very happy. Sure some planes will go down, but that is not an issue, wih smarrt plane management. Minotaurs are a tough nut to crack to be sure.

Met @El2aZeR the other day in his Big E (I was in Implacable, the other team). We were top tier, and there were 4 DDs per side in the game. Surprisingly, El wasn't so lucky with striking the DDs with his feared rockets that game, even though in the end his team won, and he was on the top (as was I). I tried to counter his strikes a few times, but once I dropped my fighters, he did the same. Guess which of these CVs has superior fighters by far? :) One of the guys in my division got salty, apologies. To be fair it was the first time I played with him and didn't know the guy has anger issues. Anyway, it's been a pleasure. -

3 000 base XP 30 000 XP 67 000 captain XP as well as proving once again the Lex rockets are deadly against any DD. Who says tier 8 CVs are weak against heavy AA tier 10 teams? -

Doesn't it? Bow in target, barely moving, 14 km away. You don't have torps. Ho do you tell if he is slowly moving backwards or forwards? By pixelhunting minimap for several seconds? I don't use this mod, but what you just stated is false. -

2000 XP loss is always nice. Pair that with Kraken, and 28 secondary hits against enemy CV in my Lexington and you get this:

But IFHE does not increase HE damage though, and the rockets already penetrate all DD armor (Khabarovsk mid plate being the excepion). Picking IFHE against DDs would actually lower your damage, as you would be less likely to set a fire.

I can not agree with that. If you dont correct your aim too wildly, HVARs reticle is miniscule.

You can do this right now, if you believe it's worth the effort. Not all carriers have armored decs. Pick your Lex and go for enemy Kaga - he will eat full pens everytime. It still is far from optimal use of time (CV's most valuable resource). EDIT: For greater effect, use HVARs, as they have better DPM, you will still pen every rocket.

I have no idea how much you personally know about carriers. I have seen all El2azers videos, but feel free to link some. We could always ask @El2aZeR if hunting the opposing CV from the start of the match is a sound tactic.

I think you might underestimate the power of HVARs in their DD hunting role. Other than that, I have to admit the AP boms are indeed better, although less universal (which can be redeemed by picking the proper plane in given situation). Didn't know about the torpedos difference, thanks.

You forgot your stars buddy. Also you can already hit full salvos with most rockets against armored deck carriers.... just don't hit the deck. Good luck doing 6 runs across the map while losing all the planes every time. Shortening squads will help a bit, but it's still wasted time. How do you compare Lex to Enterprise though? The rocket planes seem kinda equally good (I'm judging from your YT vids), the torps are the same. Are the AP bombs that much better compared to 6 US HE?

Met @T0byJug in his Neustrashimy, even though I greeted him, I think he didn't notice me. He played hyper aggressive and died very early. I helped with a bit of spotting and a few rocket salvos from my Lex actually :D His team won in the end and he was far from bottom on the scoreboard. Well played. -
