Jingles has quit the EU WG CC Program
SFCGunny313 replied to Drunken_Jedi's topic in General Discussion
Jingles really wasn't all that great as a CC - although he had some good history lessons thrown in, he got a lot of the basics wrong in his commentary and quite frequently. And, we know he was on the fence anyway, and already looking to expand his Youtube channel beyond Wargaming products, so the incident seemed to give him a good excuse to end the relationship and move on. PointyHairedJedi was a very very minor speck anyway, so no big loss to the community there. We also know that many of you have absolutely no life and follow all this drama like a soap opera. Many of you want to "raise the pitchforks" every other month over some perceived slight or another. Personally, I have about zero F's to give over any of this drama. -

I've known Vahakn for several years now, he runs a great clan...of course, so do I Seriously, DI and Vahakn are the some of the good guys in the community -
You might want to have this moved to the correct thread, Clan Recruitment...seems posted in the wrong place

Armor - workable. 20 battles today, think I took one citadel. It can tank some damage, but don't mistake this for being capable of close range brawling - it is not. Guns - average to above average. They will troll you a bit. 4 turrets with two barrels at 381mm. They will deal consistent damage, nothing spectacular. AA - average. The defensive AA ability is just a gimmick. By the time enemy planes get in your AA bubble, you're probably already in trouble. Maneuver - average. Equip Steering Gears Mod 2 to help the rudder shift. Speed - above average at 31.2 knots Hood is nothing spectacular, but doesn't have any major flaws either, so, it's very British. Consistent damage and ability to survive are the strong points. You're not going to deal many Devastating Strikes, but if you play it similar to the other Battle-Cruisers in the game, you'll do just fine. Don't lead the push. I try to keep it on the move - decent speed allows you to reposition easily and either exploit a flank, or get back to help a failing flank.

Good to see someone actually answered your question and helped you. Unfortunately, we have a metric F ton of very toxic, elitist a.hole members in these forums who seem to only respond with absolute toxic replies.

So, having a bit of a debate, and I want to get some additional opinions here. For a tier 8 competitive team, and assuming a 9v9 battle, we are using the following: CV - Shokaku BB - North Carolina x 2, Amagi x 1 (or NC x 3) DD - Benson x 2 CA/CL - Kutuzov x 2 + Chapayev x 1 (or, Kutuzov x 2 + Atago x 1) Based on previous competitive tournaments, streams, Twitch replays, Youtube videos, etc, this seems to be the most commonly used setup. I've had members question why we don't use the New Orleans or the Bismarck...giving them statistics and pointing out the meta doesn't seem to win the debate...

Seems pretty shitty to run this and have a conflict with the League of the Sea tournament...really should consider rescheduling this for later.

Need a bit of assistance here. Long ago, I created a chat channel for my clan, but I did not choose the password option (I know, noob mistake there). So, now I have people who were removed from my clan, but I can't kick them from the channel, nor can I find a way to add a password to an existing channel. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Some clans have multiple tags - and the only way for the entire clan to communicate is a common channel, which is what I'm referring to here. I am well aware of specific clan chat channels - so, I take it, you can't answer my actual question...

Definitely good news. I refuse to use the "other site" Wargaming is trying to push on us. Jammin was, and will remain, the website for me and my clan members. -

Well said Clyde...the other shills replying in this thread just don't get it, or, they are the typical trolls that just like to spend time arguing here in the forums
