Loved the 3 giants made me smile each time I saw them +1 The change in the way the achievements are displayed I also liked Not so good that I could not try out the iX Malborough Could not try all the tiers, I tried launching a 3, 5 & 7 but after 5 minutes gave up as I appeared to be the only one. Have you made the bots more aggressive? They were certainly more accurate and they changed direction, normally they just sail in a straight line, so that was new. All in all I think the various changes and updates worked great, certainly looking forward to them coming into the mainstream game.

Just finished a T10 battle. I had a Worcester and my opponent had a Salem. We both sat slightly behind rocks broadside to broadside, and after a while exposed our ships and traded shot for shot. Both ships are roughly similar guns armour etc. The shell flight was about 11 seconds, so at any one time there were two salvos in the air, we both moved a little and had to adjust aim to track the ship, after about 50 hits each I think we both decided to sit there and see who won without moving. I noticed that even though I targeted him slap bang in the middle my shells constantly fell short, in the end in order to hit him I had to aim just past him, I am using a static default crosshair, but I had to aim just above him into clear water. He on the other hand hit every round, aiming was spot on, not every shell, but 90% hit bang on, he was reducing my health with HE drastically, I was using AP and slowly chipping away. We both had exactly the same camo installed, he was at 65% health and I was at about 10% with 3 fires when he got help from a BB which finished me off with one broadside. My PC screen resolution is 1920x1200, I have two of them so I can't test any other resolution, but I wondered "Can the screen resolution effect aim?". Now before you are tempted to roll out the party line with smug answers like "Try getting better", "The problem is with your brain", "Try a new right hand", "Your are only at 45% you must suck", I am not an idiot, I know how to lead a target, I have been playing computer games since the 1990s, I know the various dynamics that effect shell flight etc. etc. I am also not naïve not enough to think that some people use auto aimers, and a whole smorgasbord of other cheats, both known and undetectable, I am not suggesting this guy was cheating. BTW cheating will eventually be this games downfall, especially if WG don't address it, however they are a business and as a business expect money from their customers. Unless cheating is addressed normal money paying customers will leave and they will end up with a bunch of kids with no money and aimbots up the wazoo. Anyway, my question is.... "Can screen resolution effect aiming?"

I just checked the folders and I do have a replay file, and looking at the file he did use AP not HE, but it still bothers me how many of my shells missed, even for allowing for dispersion, see what you think. Having a look through the other forum questions, RNG and dispersion crops up so often and no-one seems to have a good word to say about it, if that the case why does WG not make the RNG more friendly for everyone? At the moment it looks like my gunners have too much RUM if they can't consistently hit a target. btw, and I am not being defensive, but people can be hyper critical, my dog insisted on going out just as the battle starts, hence the delay in me getting going. 20190327_231922_PASC210-Worcester_45_Zigzag.wowsreplay

I like the CV's the new style it is much more interactive than the old. However I have T8 and I ALWAYS get into T10 battles, which pretty much makes the CV useless, so I have stopped playing it. I very demoralising to have all your planes shot down before you can launch any ordinance, and spotting is just plain dull, every week or so I try again to see if things have changed and even if 1 in 3 games where my T8 was top tier or -1 tier, then maybe, but all the time, which it has been, is pointless, and its a shame I like the interface. I know that matching up with so many random players is technically challenging, but I would welcome an option that either lets me choose what tier I want to play against and just wait for a game to be available or go with the first available game.

About a month ago after playing relatively well I turned, overnight, into a numpty. Out of the last 60 games I have lasted more than 5 minutes in 8 of them. The other times I am the 1st 2nd or 3rd person sunk, no matter what ship I choose from New Mexico to Z-39. The bigger the ship the more almost instant targets I get. Often within 30 seconds, up to 10 ships are targeting and shooting at me, their aim is uncanny and very accurate, its weird and to be honest I am getting a complex. One ship I pumped 36 x 150mm shells on target and got him down to 60% they fired one salvo and reduced my health down to 2%. I appreciate they may be bots, but they should be identified as bots or tone down their accuracy, smoke doesn't deter the hit rate and random weaving just seems to make things easier. This evening I had 7 of my ships in battle at one time I died that quickly. I appreciate some people will just call it sour grapes or being a noob or blah de blah, but I just wondered if anyone had seen the same and, other than getting better at the game if anything can be done about it.

Just read this Antenociti, made me chuckle, and yes I do remember the reference, and you are right about trying to progress as fast as possible, although my stats actually never really bothered me. I am trying a more Zen approach, at the moment I am learning who to avoid, any BB T9+, any DD T9+ and any T10 cruiser! It still irritates me when people shoot, and hit, through smoke, but again go in circles and that helps, what drives me spare though are three things, 1 - being hit by an unseen ship from way across the map and them doing 80%+ damage in one salvo, love to learn how they do that. 2 - People in chat banging on about "how crap the team is" and how much better they are. One guy started trolling me about camping when I was doing 40 knots in a dd, and then when the match finished carried on in person to person chat, still when you have the whole world playing you going to get the odd nutter. 3 - The feeling that everyone is picking on you, often in the rush to capture I am surrounded by teammates, I zoom in & fire off a few rounds, then zoom out, look at the map and everyone has buggered off, and half the enemy fleet has me targeted. I just need to get over myself and realise that I would do the same in their shoes, and have done. Anyway, a belated thanks for the note. Slagathor
