dein Wort in WGs ohr... der Hype funktioniert nicht ohne häppchen und zumidnest ich fang schon an anderweitige ausgabemöglichkeitne für die Rücklagen für Scharn etc. zu überlegen...

who talks about jutland? It's been said that Ger and Brits might get their BC lines... and the british BCs arent exactly thick skinned for the most time... so they cant play damage sponge... they will NEED to be on distance or otherwise the bigger cruiser guns (and possibly even some of the smaller ones) will turn them into swiss cheese

die idee funktioniert aber nur wenn die Leute das Geld dann noch haben... unser lieber Walter hat z.B. seinen Fiskus am Hals... man sollte sowas so releasen das sich die Leute das auch kaufen können und nihct hoffen... WGs Konkurrenz hat das damals shcon versiebt als sie ihr Weihnachtsrabatt event auf das russische weihnachten gelegt haben... ich und viele andere haben in der Zeit das geld beim Steam sale rausgeballert... -

wer auch immer für das Marketing bei WG zuständig is gehört einfach mal verprügelt... was will die Community? Dunkerque, Scharnhorst und König Albert... gut... vielleicht kommen Scharnhorst und oder Albert morgen... dann will ich nix gesagt haben... aber es wird halt langsam lächerlich... Hype is nicht sich dauernd mit Wodka zuzuballern sondern den Fans immer mal ein paar kleine happen zuzuwerfen... und dafür würden sich die Prems JETZT (eigentlich schon früher) perfekt eignen... -
i want examples for following BBs... Scharnhorst... current: 20 secs... Tirpitz: 27 Ishizuchi 25 secs Arizone 35 and NC 30 seconds... so how would you adjust those to your range idea?... i can already see this not chanign anything because overall close range wouldnt change... sure... they might hit even more seldom on those ranges... but they are also less exposed to danger... and if it can happen for a BB to miss another BB thats broadsiding at 8km in this way (x shell - ship) xx xx -------- xx xx then imho rng is a problem

soweit ich das von cne CBTs mitgekriegt hab HABEN sie mal die Panzer gescheit hingekriegt und haben dann immer mehr versucht die WoT klientel abzuwerben anstatt auf die anderen Spieler zu hören die länger schlachten auf großen maps haben möchten... mit realistischen Visieren und Zoom... -
pull back while being exposed to enemy fire because all others just buggered off when the first 120mm shell splashed some water onto them means exposing the side reload penalty? prepare for even more camping because you cant adjust for situational changes... read it again please... i talked about broadsiding for cruisers VS BBs getting encouraged seemingly by the wonky AP mechanics... as i said: a cruiser can go broadside on 8 km with the AP either missing or only overpenning but as soon as it turns citadel... i'd actually support followng: Overall dispersion rework, depending on the design of the ship (thin skinned distance fighter like Kongo or Brawler like Warspite)... so.. brawlers would get (far?) better precision til lets say 8km... then good dispersion til 15km... and then it rapidly gets worse (not "hitting impossible" but really... you'll need luck to hit or really damage anything... if the enemy isnt broadsiding the whole time). and the more distance fighters (like possible upcoming britihs BCs etc. because thin skinned) wouldnt have such a good distance on CQC but the dispersion drops would be smaller and they would also have decent (and those ships really cant play tank because they are not really heavily armored... when they tried that at Jutland VS German BCs they failed) dispersion (not insta hit but not brawler bad) at longer ranges... lets say til 20 km... after that... goodluck... this coupled with an overhaul of the Penetration mechanics like for example more steps between over pen and citadel hits would, imho, increase the motivation for BBs AND even AP based CAs to go for it... if we then finaly get tanking rewarded... plane kills give good rewards... and of course reduced high tier costs...

i will shoot at DDs... with HE and AP... depending on what i've loaded and what enemies are in the area... i shot at the Blys iwth my HE iirc damage?... hehe... Secondaries o' course made nice fireworks... actually shooting down planes DOES give a reward... which is far to low... and CVs iirc do get Cap rewards like all others... and... i advocate for better rewards for that stuff all over the bord... just that shooting down planes is something Cruisers overall can do while doing most other stuff... and if the planes dont attack the cruiser itself... doesnt get them any higher repair costs... also: that CAN do the most damage... depending on how much RNGesus doesnt screw you over and over... with overpenetrations, (near) misses... boucnes... non penetrations... non citadel hits... penetrations that strangely didnt do any damaeg... "shoot back shoot back shoot back" i do.. what do i see? oh yes... overpen overpen overpen miss miss miss oh a penetration... while the Cruiser can seeminlgy in all calmness continue to spam HE... so because enemies think they are save while beign in gun range and go broadside all the way without any kind of maneurving on 16 to 17km (which should still be in range for most BBs if the Range decrease should be anything senseble) then it means the BB is OP... if a DD devastating strikes a BB with Torpedoes because the BB doestn maneuvre the BB is stupid... hmm... so... if i drive BBs i'm actually nearly always at the front... aside then when my team goes all lemming train and lets itself be turned to smoke before i have any chance to get over there... and i've had it countless times that DDs and Cruisers just did nothing (useful)... instead of attacking DDs or cruisers that closed in they spammed the enemy BBs to death while i got focused by nearly anything the enemy had there... even IF the enemy BB showed them no favourable angle at ALL... while i tried to atleast take out one of the enemies... while just getting screwed over by RNG force them to evade... the problem is the AP Damage system more often than not allows acruisers to broadside BBs more efficient than the BBs can deal damage to them... i've seen it with BBs... i've seen it with the Hipper... with the Hipper i've enganged a Myoko going broadside... i guess 4 to 5 salvos where only overpens and a hand off overpens... then... finaly... 5 citadels in 2 salvos and sunk... he screamed "Cheater"... as i say: the AP damage system is just to... no words... and the normalization changes seem to not change it for the better... i've seen it more and more that cruiser drivers go broadside all the way while the BB shells either fail to hit them from below 10km or do minimal damage... then when it turns away or goes bow on... bam one citadel through the front... as i said... if you reduce the range... the BBs damage MUST become more reliable... less overpens... less misses on short to mid distance... to compensate

not to often to you maybe... had it far to often to say not to often... in theory yes... but if they decide to cut the range but just "keep" the dispersion... btw... with increased accuracy i mean REAL increased accuracy... RELIABLE accuracy... and AP damage that says: NOPE to broadsiding cruisers instead of overpen overpen overpen... but anyway... from what i've read brace yourself for BBs spamming HE since they seem to screw up AP even more...

actually the Kongo is a Battlecruiser... so that is that... also: decent speed... yes... yet still slower than most cruisers (as i said with iowa being the difference with 33 knots) which means: the cruisers and DDs will in most cases be first... and it by god doesnt happen to seldomly to me: my bb drives forward... enemy appears... a few shells hit the water... guys? guys? oh look... DDs and cruisers are sudedenly 5km behind me... and the distance is only increasing... and up to Tier VII it will be the only BB that can do 30 knots and isnt premium (with the Gneisenau being the first non prem that will reach that speed again after the kongo) luckily DDs have torpedoes... also: they can... it's just rare... thanks to WGs screwed up mechanics with a load of luck even a 120mm HE shell can blow up the magacine on a BB if the "explosion" reaches the magazines... and that's also the amount of luck you need to oneshot a cruiser on ranges over 16 to 17 km (or less or more depending on nation)... i think i had that once with my Tirpitz... i shot at a Atago and actually had the luck of getting a detonation... one other time was a 4km or so battle wiht my Ishizuchi spamming HE on a DD They have more health while also being bigger targets... they have the most armour but that can be negated a bit to much with the usage of HE, overall HE is far to much of a all purpose weapon... especially with the normalization overhaul it seems... some ships can exclusively fire HE and do fine iwht it... while e.g. the Hippers HE is... meh... and hte AP... can be a tad problematic if you get no citadel hits or atleast 3/4 of penetrations VS OVerpens and all kinds of non pens)... i had my Warspite shot away under my rear in cross fire by a Blyskawica and a Kiew because no cruiser even thought about helping... no Torpedoes used btw... every salvo did 2 to 4k damage iirc... not counting Fires... and while you have the ability to restore HP it's not of much use if your under fire the whole time... which will happen if every other ship just buggers off as soon as they have contact... and some cruisers can and will endanger BBs even with AP because on "shorter" ranges the AP can actually penetrate some belts... so when the BBs need to close in because the reduced range their armour efficiency will also be reduced... you say they are ment to tank... i see no mechanic that rewards that... and no... Dreadnought fireproof and that other thing DONT count... because you NEED to survive to get em... which means: you only get rewarded to a certain point... and even those rewards are only "nice to have" and nothing "so... this is my reward for incurring X k of reparation costs?" WGs own text for the duty of BBs is "destroy enemy ships with your main battery" sorry... but that only if RNGesus doesnt say Nope... had it with Tirpitz VS kutuzow... 8km... all hits were either overpens or normal pens or non pens... it took me 5 minutes or so to kill it while it easily spammed me to death with HE... and believe me this wasnt because of bad aiming... e if you reduce the Range of BBs you will also have to reduce their dispersion so that they atleast deal reliable damage... which only will lead to you again complaining because BBs take you out to easily and you know what...if you cruisers would actually kill the DDs from time to time instead of only focusing on other cruisers or on BBs maybe more BBs would drive forward... then if we lower the costs of Tier VIII and thereafter it might make it even more interesting to drive forward because you wont loose a small fortune... btw thanks for mentioning the module for range increase... forgot that completely actually... you mention the dont press the R butotn as soon as they have a fire... so tell me... what should i do if i get 3 to 4 fires in one or 2 salvos by cruisers... extinguish them... and then get 3 to 4 salvos again? How would you as a cruiser react if overpenetrations by BB would lead to flooding? to sum it up: if you reduce the range on BBs increase their accuracy, overhaul the penetration mechanics so that overpenetrations by big shells hurt... and force cruisers to actually assist them... do you really believe that if you cut away so much of range the cruisers will just stay the same? i guess if the BBs would get their range cut by 25% the same might happen to cruisers... or other stuff would happen... we have the crowds that always claim: all cruisers are poor victims... we have the same for DDs.. we have the same for BBs and CVs... i think it seems like the overall situation aside a few adjustmenents (like AP reliabilty... especially for AP cruisers) is fine...

yeah... on the other hand it of course is no problem when the cruisers and DDs rush in without atleast WAITING for the BBs that are trying to get to the front... but when the BB arrives are then the first to bugger off and le tthe BB alone VS the enemies BUT THEN complain about the useless BB... has happened... so... lower speed of DD and Cruisers so that they are just as fast as BB?

Kutuzow... believe me... your only opening a can of worms... also you dont include the spotting planes... a bb that has 19.9 km range will then again have far over 20km... but so will a cruiser... the short range of the BBs in the lower tiers (which iirc were made bad by WG on whatever purporse) combined with the screwed up penetration mechanics make them mostly pinhatas unless they hit the citadel with AP or spam HE... it also leads to frustration if gns that irl could fire over 40km suddenly can fire only 19km... while ships that had 30km or so... also get 19km... because if we do this in ways that go l some BBs (like the upcoming GK which already is screwed with by far the lowest range of all TIER X might suddenly find itself being able to combat Hidnenburg only when it it self is in range... and this can lead to problems...

Dear WG: we want more reliable damaging AP... not more reliable not doing anything to the enemy AP that promotes HE Spam even more... i hope in 2 months after the release of those chagnes to the live server when the Zaos HE spam takes spot 1) in damage before the Yamato WG will see that htere's a problem... on the other hadn having cruisers complain when BBs willalso start spamming HE will be fun

nope... why would i'd like to get closer than XY if RNGesus can still screw me up big time... even more actualyl iwht the combination of miss... Overpen, non pen.. riccoechet and normal pen when the shells should tear the enemy ship apart? had it on 6 to 8 km VS NC and Kutuzow with Tirpitz... misses and overpens all day long... a few penetrations inbetween... RNG therefore ENCOURAGES long range camping because atleast overall you yourself are less likely to be hit and the enemies shells oftne will deal less damage when hit actually no... if all have the same range cruisers will rule... why? because they will hit... if they then spam HE all the time whil ehte bb has to hope on a lucky hit... while the cruiser will outrun the BBs and therefore dictate the battle... -
if you reduce the BB range... reduce the range of ALL Cruisers to be below BBs... why? answer: especially if the visibility of the BB is then higher or around the same as the range a cruiser will be able to rather easily (meaning without much danger to itself) kite down the BB with HE spam if the cruisers range is Higher or the same as the BBs... it will also be able to dictate the battle the whole time isnce in most cases the cruiser is faster... you see the problem? IF NOT:.. face a 10 to 11km cruiser with the Kawachi and see how it kites you down while you cant hit it... then the normalization gets overhauled and from what i've read not for the benefit of AP:.. so... cruisers should have the longest range guns so that they can sit outside and spam BBs to death as they already do from time to time with He? but then BBs cant counter them as they are supposed too... or DDs? But how should cruisers then counter them?... BBs are on average slower than cruiser on their tier (Iowa being an exception) therefore they NEED a big range for their main guns because otherwise cruisers will outrun and outrange them... and then BBs cant bring their guns to bear...
