    1. Description AI CV knows where you are at all times 2. Reproduction steps Go go to a CV spawn point with a DD, sit and wait for the escorts to pass and when the CV pops airplanes they go straight for you even you're undetected to begin with and way off their regular flight trajectory. 3. Result AI CV has the "all seeing eye", the other AI ships does not. (This mode is hard enough as it is for people, this needs to be fixed). 4.     Oh one last thing, I forgot last night. AI CV's know where you are at all times even if you're not detected. I was in a Jap DD, max camo value, and I made sure to stay two extra km's outside detection range. I sat there and waited until the regular ships passed me by and then the CV popped some planes and they just bee-lined straight for me and never ever did the sixth sense pop while I sat there still and all the ships including the DDs (because we know their composition now) passed as said 2 km outside detection range. I popped smoke and re-engaged AA, and the planes hovered straight above me so even the DD could should all planes down. I would reckon this is an oversight, and that CVs should not know where you are just like the other ships does not know until they see you.

    Finally done with my 10 wins, pure will got me through. This mode is targeted for new players with entry at account level 8, which made me laugh hard. They're going to jump right in with their tier 5s and then get lol-stomped and never be seen again but there will be a constant flow of them for the short time period this new mode will be live on the servers. Rewards isn't all that. If you changed 4- and 5- star rewards around, 1 premium day for 4-star and then a *15* Skill (not 10) commander it would be worth it for regulars to work their way to the top, as it is now getting 3-stars is enough and regulars will most likely leave it at that as I can't imagine things will be any different match-wise on the live server. The things I've seen during this test... makes me wonder a lot about why people play this game, and I've not only noticed but also gotten confirmed that people just yolo in and expect the rest of the team to carry. This is not something new, but it messes with the whole concept. Path of least resistance, and there's tons and tons of people that takes this route. Spam 10 ships from port, get one win, then spam all ten again until you get the stars you want. It's sad, we see it in Ranked as well. Which then brings us back, for the last time, to the difficulty level. When you're on average is left with a four-man team (because people go 'idgaf', have no clue or real interest) this will not work well. So much has been said about this I will not say it again except one thing: Change the difficulty levels to three different ones, Normal = Easy mode, low rewards, everyone can do it and learn how to. Hard = Like the regular one we have now. Very Hard = Which is what is called complex now. That's it for me, good riddance. I'm out.

    I was hoping today's patch fixed things, but it was just a launcher patch client side and it seems nothing has changed server side. In essence it feels like this part of the forum should be renamed 'Public test venting' as I think all replies goes to /dev/null/ and the only part read is the Bug-section (hopefully...). I mean why are we here? I know some are in it just for the rewards, but personally I want to help out and I think a lot of other people want that too. But if it's just going to be like this we might as well just play the test so they can have telemetry and we get the rewards and then log off as nothing we say will change anything. They've decided that this is how they want it, nothing we can do except sadly watch this fail when it goes live and I am honestly quite sad about that because as so many has said time and time again this mode had (yeah, past tense now) so much potential. And for the mission rewards, it is so messed up. For those going F2P they'll lose 30-70k on a loss, because you need premium consumables, 22.5k camo and flags to have a slight chance at this. Premium users will lose 1000-10000 credits on a loss, on average.

    Just managed an Aegis-win, but it was by the skin of our teeth. I'm just having gigantic laughs, if the patch tomorrow doesn't sort things and this goes live it's going to be a riot, then silence. The AI bots do exactly what humans would do in *PvP', or if we the roles were reversed. They totally ignore the players and focuses on the transport, which makes sense from a strategic perspective but once you have the team compositions that you will have this will not compute at all. People are used to bots as dumb as frogs, and then this enters. looooool. If Co-Op, regular, had this kind of AI that mode would actually be more fun to play as it would all be random but this is scripted to totally overwhelm. Also, the transport ships aren't even going full steam at the last leg there, only going at half speed (see the smoke). It's like every single thing and detail is stacked against the players. Engineer ships that don't repair themselves just others, fleeing ships that are going half speed. You need, seriously, to adjust a heckuva lot on this mode before it is ready for release. Do not aim for next patch, seriously do not. Wait a patch, or two. Iron it all out, make it a stellar item because it deserves it and so does the players that are going to play this.

    I am honestly concerned that it is more important to WG to realse a "cool mode" than to see the long term effects of it. Doesn't matter if it fails eventually and gets depopulated, as long as they have released it and can have that on their game-resume. As I see it now, if this gets released this will happen in quite short order: 1) Everyone wants to have a go at this, of course (so it will be marked as a success early on by marketing). 2) People get frustrated because seemingly no one does f-all in their games, it will split the base in to two. 3) Player base 1 (Mostly regular PvP'ers) - Organizes channels and set up pre-made teams, this works for the most part and people are having fun for a while. 4) Player base 2 (the regular Co-Op people who are never on the forums and does not know how to create channels, let alone make teams) shrugs and return to regular Co-Op because PvE battles is sadly a waste of their time and credits since you'll lose credits on a loss and especially if you are f2p. 5) Player base 1 have now done this for a while and are bored and returns to PvP. Channels die out, teams are no longer being made. 6) After some time, next to no one plays PvE battles (And we are left with WoWs version of WoT's 'Historical Battles') 7) Some time near Christmas, or early next year, this mode gets a footnote (in font 8) that says it is being disabled for now, possibly will return some time in the future (which means it gets scrapped because no one plays it, but you can't say that out loud because that would be admitting defeat and that you messed up your product). 8) This time next year, no one ever remembers what this was. WG, you have an excellent idea here. Listen to your community, and this mode can be amazing.

    If you get a team of players that have experience from PvP you will at least make the primary goal, but I have yet to see any of the secondaries being made. If you get a regular Co-Op team you're done for. Ah well, I guess that no one listened much to prior input from phase 1 and the most important thing is just to get this mode out there. I said it before, if you rush this mode with the current difficulty set you'll end up with WoWs version of WoT's Historical battles. After a short while, no one plays it. Which will be a gigantic waste since this mode has so much potential. Again, make three difficulty levels. 'Normal, Hard, Very Hard' and let Normal be easy so everyone gets what they need to do and is able to do it. Reduce the rewards for Normal ofc. That way people learn what do do in Normal, and then when they advance to Hard (which is the current default mode) they'll be better set to deal with it.

    Ok, got in. First of all, you need to let the Engineer ships be able to repair themselves as well as project repair-aura to other ships. It's only logical that if it can repair others, it can also repair itself.

    Ok, round two. First of all, make sure you also implement this improved Bot-AI to regular Co-Op missions as well, because those doing only Co-Op earlier need to be schooled in the more advanced behaviour of the PvE battles AI. The PvE Battles AI is superior, or so it seems, in dodging torpedoes f.ex.

    Just get 'Server overloaded' when I try to enter a battle, and there's just 1600 people on the server and that's no different than other tests.

    ^^ This. I got two SCs before the patch, one with 5 mill and one with 50.000 free xp. After the patch I got one of these modules, which I sold for a measly 650.000 silver credits... Haven't seen a SC since, I guess my chances got nerfed because I didn't like it. lol.

    We need more death/explosions animations imho, especially critical ones like the epic crit ammo-rack explosion in WoT where the turret flies off far and fires just erupt sky high out of the tank.

Just sat here thinking about random things, and while I like to buy premium camo for ships that are keepers none-the-less I wonder why has there never been an event-discount on premium camo like in WoT? Painted ships are nice, and I reckon more people would fork up for a set if it was reduced some times. And it's not a WG EU thing, as far as I know, it's in all regions. WoT has it, so why not WoWs? Just a thought...

    WoT has both discount on gold and discount on camo. So some people buy gold on discount, save up and wait for camo-event and buy discounted camo.

    Torp spam and teamkilling

    I knew that saying something would jinx it, almost got torped by the DD 2 km behind me and I just went in a straight line to avoid some islands so either he was blind, aiming for me, or had no clue what so ever. I guess it is past the time of sober gaming and drunk games is not my thing, calling it a night from sailing and returning tomorrow to get some games in before evening when people get drunk yet again.
  25. From the main page's html: So I guess it is a free online multi-player game about battleships by design? I'm fine with that really, can't say that there are more than just the average in any of the games I have.
