    De Grasse in premium shop

I know what I need, and I know what I am going to set her up with, as I said it was a thought experiment on what she could max do with her AA.

    De Grasse in premium shop

Yeah I know, but it's about making the most of what AA she's got and see if that can be something surprising as everyone would expect her to not be decked for it. Just experiment wise, curiosity.

    De Grasse in premium shop

I wonder how this ship performs with a full AA setup, manual targeting, 7.2 km range, flag and AA mod 2. While the AA is weak at base, it would set it at 54 for the 152s and 44 for the 100s and starting at 7.2km it could be fun at least for low/medium tier CVs.

    Bug Reports

    1. Description Sound stutter/lag, echo and pauses on Ultra setting, PvE scenarios mostly. 2. Reproduction steps Play a match, this seems to happen frequently in PvE scenarios. 3. Result It's like listening to a broken record, sounds lag and stutter. Some times the same sound is played side by side, like horns in port, resulting in odd echo effect. 4. Expected result A clean audio like before. This wasn't a problem during the Public Test, something went wrong going live. 5. Technical details EDIT: Tried with a couple of computers, it may (just may) be related to disk speed as 5400 rpm had a lot of stutters and lag while 7200 rpm seems to only have delayed kill sound and the echo-issue.

    Sound

This has happened to me too, and it was never an issue with Ultra in the Public Test. Something went wrong when going live, it seems.

'The Hunt wraps up', stats lol wut WG?

It says so on NA, but not on EU. As I said, I originally thought it could be all servers but that number seems way way too low to me, for an active global server populace.

[ALL][SKIN][MOD] Hunt for Bismarck campaign camo/skin fix

Nice. Mark your topic with [0.6.6.0] and [MOD] in front if you like, so it is easier for people to notice it's a mod and not just a post as people may skip it.

'The Hunt wraps up', stats lol wut WG?

Yeah, well if there's only so "many" active sailors in the world I fear for the future of WoWs imho but it still doesn't compute, I believe there's more active players world wide than this. Needs to be. Yes please, the events. Don't want their premium store bundles though, everything on NA is 9-12% more expensive and bundles have less value/stuff. Some of the cheaper items are up to 20% more expensive over there, low tier stuff. But events, yeah, they rule the waves on those.

'The Hunt wraps up', stats lol wut WG?

At first I thought that, but it seems a bit low for it to be all servers though?
  10. I just noticed this over at the NA forums, Warspite with original white camo from Malta in 1930. I thought it quite nice, and would like to let people know just in case this was something some would like on their ship. http://forum.worldofwarships.com/index.php?/topic/127806-hms-warspite-white-skin-mod-malta-1930/ Screenshots:

    Bismarck Secondary Range not improving

You get manual fire after Advanced Fire Training, normally. You can ofc run like this and get AFT later on as well. Up to you.
  12. Personally, premium tiers 2-4 are for collecting and having the odd low tier game to clear your mind every now and then although that doesn't happen often. Premium tier 5-6 is for the challenge, some of these ships are underdogs and to me that makes them fun to play to see if I can actually get them to perform. Also, you can get some really good games being tier 6 none the less.

How do you force people to do what you want?

Oh ffs, come on. You can not force people to do anything, it is impossible. What you can do is give people incentives to play differently, but they will only do so if that brings them out of their current comfort zone and in to a better comfort zone. You may achieve this by educating people through Youtube, forums, website but then you have to a) reach them and it doesn't seem like WG likes to send out much emails and who knows if anyone ever reads them in the first place, b) have them come to the main website but I've met people in game that asked how to purchase premium time and I wondered how the heck they managed to download the client without looking further at the website... It can be done by adjusting game play parameters, but that always have other consequences. WG tried to make people not camp much by adjusting the economy so you get f-all from being way back and more for being close to the battle, they introduced Epicenter mode to teach players how to do close-range combat, but both essentially failed as people will always want to do whatever they want to do to feel comfortable and also lets not forget the path of least resistance that the majority of the players follow in the first place. In-game behaviour reflects on out-of-game behaviour as well. Camping, people like to stay far away from danger even if it means sacrificing others to be safe even though the people that gets sacrificed may actually be the ones to help you later when the hurt finds you. Lemming train, people don't like to be alone but love to be in groups as they feel safer that way no matter if it is tactical or not. Hiding in smoke and not moving (waiting for torpedoes to gank you...), people don't like to move if they can help it, especially when alone, as it makes them feel more unsafe and preferably want to stay huddled up somewhere and smoke creates that illusion of being safe, that's why you see people rage whenever they get radared/sonared/ganked inside smoke as it doesn't compute. In essence, you can not force people to do anything in a game unless you hard-code it and even then they'll try to find ways around it, and if that does not work then they are pushed out of their comfort zone and they will just quit the game and find some other game where they can be in their zone. Plain and simple.

    [12.6] Krautjaeger's minor graphical modifications

Updated to 0.6.6.0 that's coming tomorrow morning, in case there's some early birds that want to play. Tested on the NA-server, all is fine.

    Hood not worth the cash

Indeed. The only time I've loaded HE on her was in DD heavy games early on, or if a mission required me to do something and HE was the best suited. Always switched to AP as soon as that was done.

Regarding Gold share between WOWS and WOT

A few days ago, can't remember if it was TAP; Rita or TDB, it was a small mention that they've started looking at merging gold/doubloons but it was still a bit time left. At least they've started on it, who knows when it's done.

    Hood not worth the cash

Wonderful ship. That ship alone has made me close to 12 mill credits this weekend alone. It tanks like a champ when you angle her right. I guess it's not for people who go for range, but for those of us who like to fight 15km and below it's really effective, it can kite like no other if you need to and she's fast. Best game so far was 175k dmg. As it is now, it's my favourite ship. Eventually I'll get tired of playing her and play something else, but this is a ship I'll return to over and over again.

PT 0.6.6 Feedback - Operations - General Feedback

@WG From: https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/common/woo-new-game-mode/ "After a battle ends, your ship will need to await an “order”, and will remain unavailable in Operations mode for 30 minutes. Such ships can be used again immediately by paying Doubloons. The amount of doubloons required will be specified later—you can however enter the operation immediately for free with any other ship while your previous ship is in cooldown." There was such an uproar about doubloons for this that you switched to credits, is this a typo? No one will pay doubloons for that.

    PT 0.6.6 Feedback - Operations - Balance

This mode is easy for seasoned pvp players when teamed up. However it enters at account level 8, which means it is targeted at new people and welcomes them in. Also this was to be a further extension of the PvE-environment which are the regular Co-Op players and they are not used to this by a long shot. The times I've won these modes was when we were at least three competent players on a team, I would never ever be able to carry a whole match on my own. 3-4 team-mates got ganked within the first five minutes on a regular basis and it's all touch and go from there and hard to recover if at all. It is important to note that this mode wasn't designed for the best of the best, or even those that are very good, but as said to make PvE more interesting for those that like to play PvE. And they are definitely in for a rude awakening, a lot of them.

    PT 0.6.6 Feedback - Operations - Balance

I guess this news will pop on EU soon, they are going ahead with launching this in 0.6.6. All we can do is hope and pray they have listened to feedback. https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/common/dont-touch-the-sides/

Bots are so realistic these days..

Wait for the PvE-battles/Scenario bots, that AI is a bit upgraded. If they ported that AI to Co-Op... lol.

"GG EZ": do we need cross team chat ?

Cross-team chat isn't really an issue in WoWs, it's like kindergarten compared to what WoT was. Most of the salt that comes in chat is usually people on our own team having a go at each other, and even that isn't often.

    The »It's weekend« Screenshot Thread

I'm playing on NA a bit these days, and to be honest the weekends there are way worse than weekends here. I'm astonished at the difference. Way way more lemming trains, and extreme defensive camping which means if you're not lucky enough to get the aggressive team you're done for. Last night I was in my t6 La Galissonniere and entered a t8 heavy game (lots of t8 BBs) and while I got ganked mid-game with a mere 60k dmg done and 1 kill I was still #1 on the loss having 2x+ more xp than most. It was a sad sight... and it was never ending. So, EU isn't all that bad on weekends after all and I'll remember that next time. Also, side note, NA-peeps has an insane love for their CVs. Over half the games has 2 CVs a side in it, most have at least one.

Battle of Jutland - still a no show in WOWS

Looking back, NA has actually had this flag as part of a bundle as well. So EU could've done the same. https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/common/jutland-hist/

Battle of Jutland - still a no show in WOWS

Haha, yes: https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/premshop/premshop-british-tag-team/ So since it was once bundled here, I guess there would be a minor uproar from players who paid to get it in a bundle. So better stay silent, and possibly no one will notice. They could've just made a different flag for this event though, doesn't have to be the same as on NA/RU.
