Just played Aegis on the NA-server, other than me no one had done it before and even though I tried to tell then what we needed to do... well, ended in a loss. However, it seems that WG has adjusted rewards on a loss now so that you don't go in to negative and you even get regular loss-xp when you do. So for those of you that just stopped doing Scenarios because of this, if there are any, from tomorrow at least you'd don't lose credits on a loss (unless you play really terribad).

^^That. And it was suggested that they expanded on this, making 'Normal', 'Hard' and 'Very Hard'. Normal being easy mode. Not sure if they'll do, but they could. -

Well, they kinda had to as it would be a fast track to depopulation of the mode if they didn't. They've also made Aegis much easier than on test server btw, in the final part of the battle. The latter could've stayed, but I get why they do it. It has to appeal to the regular Co-Op'ers, and as it was introduced they abandoned it pretty fast. For the regulars, once you've done the 5-star there isn't really much incentive to play any more unless you like the mode or want to improve a personal best, but the Co-Op'ers would keep going as that is what they do, play PvE. So, in essence, it was designed for them. -

Anyone else missing their Type 6 Camos rewards for 10 plain wins from Public Test? There was some issue during Part 1 that still had regular Co-Op only count towards the win, I reported it here and thought that's why they fixed it for part 2. Then in part two it was set up for 10 plain wins, no matter the stars, in PvE Scenarios. Both times it triggered and I got 10 Type 6 camos in-game on the test server which means task is complete and you will receive it on the live server. Still, got the email, clicked the link, and none of this so I'm essentially missing 20x Type 6 camos. Wondering how many others have the same issue.

Teamkiller status not reduced after friendly damage free games

I know, lol, I reported the bug. Started to play in NA server a couple of weeks back, and in low tier Co-Op I fired a salvo and while my shells were in flight slow as heck a friendly DD with 70 hp left sailed right where it landed and pop I was pink for a handful of games. -

Display-bug, will be fixed on Thursday. Restarting your game will show updated number after next match. -
Supposed BB overpopulation vs game stats

It feels like when such comments come it's meant for tier 9/10 games. People who don't play top tier games much then thinks 'What are you talking about, BB population is just fine?'. There's a lot of talk going on here that's about top tier exclusively, and it's kind of expected that one should get that but some times it's not as clear and a lot of misunderstandings and whatnot happens in those threads. Makes me wonder if there should be a sub-forum called "Top tier gameplay", both for WoWs and WoT. -

You get 5 of each per part of test They were clearer about this on NA, text description and all, even on the User-bonus link, that it only included flags pre new ones... Ok, so there's no one missing anything? Camos? Only me? First time ever on test that I've not gotten something, wonder if it's because I was extremely vocal about the new mode. *tinfoil* lol. At any rate, next time I'll screenshot and document every time a reward is achieved. -
Of course there are legitimate reasons and situations for using HE. You see people switch from AP to HE and back, depending on. But there are those that fire broadsides of HE consistently and doesn't even angle between shots...

I always smile when I get volleys of HE from tier 7+ BBs as I know that that kill is soon to be mine. Don't tell them about AP, lol.

If you got them on the user-bonus link, it usually shows up in-game. Lucky you. I've pinpointed the time for at least part 2, when I finished it, hoping support or one of the WG admins here can help out. EDIT: Also, maybe important, if people played solo or as a division when you got the 10 regular wins for the Type 6 (This is not about the special flags and division for them, but the error may be connected to it). -

A tier 6 free-xp ship, somewhere between 200-300k free xp I reckon. -
I suggested on the WoT-forums once that public stats would not count nor show until and from tier 6 (or 7 for that matter) and onwards. First of all that would remove the better part of seal-clubbing/stat-padding in one fell swoop, and the only times you'd see experienced players in low-tier matches would be for the nostalgia or for those that just needed a break from other tiers. Secondly, people that are hung-up on stats are usually referencing high-tier games anyway thus the stats you have from tier 6/7 onwards would really be what matters and it would also more accurately represent the current skill-level of people in relevant tiers. WG focuses a lot on the competitive side of their games, "Be the best of the best" and all that, so I don't think we'll ever see any total black-out of stats in either game.

I quite agree. There are some of course that love the epeen, and others that want to feel reassured by having better team-mates on their side but with stat-padding you can never be sure if the stats are really the stats unless you check the profile after (or during the game on the website, but you should be playing rather...). I remember names of people that's played well, and when I see them I am reassured.

It's all just rumours, speculation and wishful thinking at this point as there has been no official statement other than they're working on some sort of incarnation of Musashi. There is so much planned for summer already, I think it is way too early to even expect it coming then and more likely end of year-ish at the earliest. But we'll see. -
lol, yeah, it was just a low level res-spell If we're really resurrecting this, once upon a time when I started after beta I struggled a bit as I had a long break after said beta. And I got the 'your stats suck' comments in game, so I just disabled it. After that, not sure if the pressure or whatnot disappeared, stats began to rise and WR f.ex. is now at 51.34% and rising. I've often thought to myself I could just as well enable it now but part of it is I'm afraid to jinx it and another part is why should I. I don't play this game so people can look at my stats, I play this game so I can enjoy it and better myself. I honestly don't care if people think I'm bad, good or whathavya, those who have divisioned with me or been on my team know what I'm good for and that's enough for me. In some ways, it is an advantage to have them hidden as it's better if people think you're crap and then you end up with kraken, high-caliber and whatnot and suddenly the guy who talked smack ends up in the middle or lower on the scoreboard feels a bit silly indeed. That always bring a silent smile to my face.

This has nothing to do with the kill-message you get, it has to do with when you hear other ships fire and sound effects over range like you would IRL. Sound travels at... and so on.

For guys having stutter problems, silent gaps (does not include the delayed kill message), do you play the game off of a 5400 rpm disk? I noticed, when trying two different computers, that if I ran the game off of a 5400 rpm disk sound stutters and you get the silent gaps before it continues but on 7200 rpm there's only delayed kill message and some times echo (same sound played almost at the same time, creating echo).

All of this is too vague to give a concrete answer. The reason for focusing a particular ship can be many, even if it is out of the way. It could be that people recognize the player as good and primary him so he's out of the way early on in the game, primaried because of ship-type for reasons the team knows, the ship is extremely pop'able and guns out of the game is good, or that for some other reason the guy calling out the focus-command wanted to call out on the ship in front of it but the game registered it as the ship way behind it. At any rate, depending on match, players, composition, situation and so on and so forth there are many different reasons why you would primary/focus on a ship/player not exactly on the front lines. -
