  1. Writing this post due to after been playing almost 100 matches with this ship I have come to the conclusion that either the ship is far from as good as it should be or it has a different playstyle from all other german ships, where I perform way better in, maybe some people on this forum might be able to find out why or how come my winrate is so bad with it? :( As some say its a brawling ship that can take much damage and go in close quarter with any battleship in the game and the secondaries to be super good and is pretty much the main guns for the ship, I have maxed the captain and everything to have max range on the secondaries and flags etc but what happens most often: I follow fellow destroyer and cruisers and pushes forward to the enemies but ends up being spotted by something which I cant see and then before I know it 2-3 ships are landing hits on my ship, even though my front is showing towards them just 2-4 hits is enough to remove 50% of the ships HP and set it on fire, and no chance of getting into close quarters. When I do manage to get into close quarters(10km of range) the enemy battleship like new orleans just needs to hit my Bismarck with 3-4 hits and most of my HP is gone, well good armour eh? IF I show broadside and get my secondaries: if Im still alive after some hits my ship will be sunk by the next salvo. In my experience Bismarck is too fragile and sucks damage like a mushroom so best tactic is to stay far back and snipe the enemies and go closer when the enemy side is losing and is low on HP, but then its all about the rest of the team to carry the match, unless I´m top tier and faces lower tier battleships. But in sniper mode and also in close combat I find the guns to perform badly and removes just a little off the enemy ships HP compared to what they do to my ship, so as someone else I play with are doing: Like Bayern one focus on the enemy cruisers as the battleships will kill us pretty fast. I´m fond of realism and find it annoying destroyers can get within 2km and my Bismarck cant bloody see it while they launch torpedo attack after another with impunity -.- When acustic is active the range is slightly better but still hard to find those destroyers and the reload time is forever for it after I used it. In reality battleships showed the broadside to the enemy as the thickest armour is there and to get all guns to bear and the chance of a hit is smaller and harder to get hit by plunging fire, in the game its the opposite: showing the front which isnt as armoured and plunging fire is more likely to hit and your rear guns cant fire but in the game the enemy cant damage your ship as much then,I fail to see how that works xD When Bismarck faced the hood and prince of wales it showed its broadside and so did the brittish, and hood was actually turning to show the strongest armour to the bismarck just as a plunging fire hit hood and the rest is history. Also documentary and books about bismarck shows torpedos had no damage effect to the ships advanced torpedo protection, they damaged the fuel departments and such but the main armour belt that keeps water out wasnt damaged at all, but in the game torpedos are bloody dangerous to the ship. Enough of that: With all my previous german battleships my winrate is over 52% and higher on some but with bismarck its down to 41% :/ 2 of my other friends who I play with who perform well with all other battleships prior to it have like 21% winrate with the Bismarck, trying new tactics and such but nope still losing as mentioned above with it. Some say the Bismarck is a true tanker that is hard to damage and OP and outperform all other ships, my and others experience is the opposite, so what am I and others doing wrong or is the ship just a specific playstyle that only a few can get to work?

Possible to find certain player statistics?

Hi everyone, couldnt find a more fitting place to make this thread, any mod/admin feel free to move it if there is a better place for it. I have looked on my player statistics in the game and also some sites which shows a lot more interesting data on my progress and results but not this: A graph or any statistics where I can see how active I´ve been certain months or years, is that possible to see somewhere? Wargaming do have that data since some world of warships stats pages I visited have that; Shows how many battles I played each month. The closest I got is when I last played on: https://eu.warships.today/ Is there some way to see through my stats for battles and activity through months/years back somehow(intervalls between when I play in months/years etc)? Would be very interesting to see how my activity has been during the soon 2 years I´ve been playing this game.

Ahh thanks, but as you say you cant see that far back or intervalls but its better than what I´ve seen on other sites. In WoT this site exist but havent managed to find out if a wows version exists but there one can see much more about when one played the game: http://wotzilla.com/

Dont get along with Bismarck, finding it very weak to other ships

I´m just so used to ship simulator games where its the opposite: You WANT to show the broadside as the main armour is there and makes the chance of hit less than showing the lenght of your ship, and also you get all firepower towards the enemy, hence the term: Crossing the enemy T: You have the broadside and the enemy has just the front guns to use against you and is an easier target for plunging fire. The bow in reality is the weakest part and an penetration there and you have a big chance of massive magazine explosion. But in WoWs it is the opposite and goes against everything I know about how to use ships xD But getting better but its tempting to get all main guns into fire. Thanks! Will try that tacic now and also avoid getting HE spammed and try to have support. Just a question: when angling and getting closer to a enemy ship: Should one use full speed or 50% engine power to avoid getting too close too fast/ending up facing several enemy ships? Many thanks for that explanation, Will try these out and hope that the enemy battleships wont be able to take out 50% of my HP even when angling. Also more use escape routes in case of facing too strong enemy forces. The key is to get the angling correct it seems and when to push and knowing when to use the escape route or when to slug it out.

Hmm, dunno about that as last time I tried to circle a yamato and try to have the secondaries to sink it and I was at 80% HP just one salvo from yamato to my side was enough to almost kill me, if it is busy shoting at someone else I can imagine it to work. Many thanks to you and all others who taken the time to give those advices, will try to be less agressive at the start and try to adapt to when its time to push forward and get into secondaries range. Hmm so you suggest to try not to get all secondaries to fire but to angle and just have the forward ones to fire until the enemy makes a mistake or is busy with someone else and then use full broadside? Alright. But when you people mention angling, and as bismarck and all battleships turns very slowly and hard to angle the ship towards several enemies: Any diagram or bird view of how one should angle the ship then towards one enemy ship? From my experience pointing the ship towards the enemy have worked the best with previous german ships and bouncing(making hits take minimal damage to my ship), but when I try that with bismarck most battleships go though the armour in the front when facing head on and removes 40-50% of my HP :/ Then not to mention cruisers using HE to set one on fire xD
