I don't play lol, but I know of its reputation. I think you are referring to the toxicity of players, right? Couldn't really care about that, especially given my chatban record I have a few hundred battles on NA, and sure, it's even worse, but not by that much. At an average game it seems there is about 2/3 players out of 24 who seem to know what they are doing. Don't see that going to change. At least I rediscovered EU4 lately :D

I have the same identical feeling. In a way I have to agree with the OP, though different enough, and that is, for a few months now, I have the feeling my personal contribution matters for absolutely nothing in most games. What happens is that either I get the [edited] (borderhumping bbs and/or all dds die in 3 minutes and/or bot CV, and/or ...) or the enemy. Anyway, zero personal influence. So my paraphrase of the OP would be: (almost) no influence on wins is killing my love for the game (severely).

While I agree with the fact that T8 gets shafted terribly, it is no point in this specific discussion, because the only stronger specific "radar" is to be found on the z52... Given and still mentioning "radar" and being confronted by stronger "radar" I have serious doubts if the OP is serious.

The same average player who thinks it is worth to spend three captain points of his bb build on the really straightforward "formula" for survivability expert. Yea, thank the lord WG considers their worries first of all.

While this has generated some nice memes, I am wondering how much fun you have on those lovely high tier maps like okinawa, mountain range, fears of the cruisers etc. (not to mention the rare ocean) with that build.

Aside from the rest of the discussion: this is an unfair point. Belfast was for sale long before that season. It's still for sale. You could even argue that not having it for sale at that moment could have created a s*storm because some players (who didn't have it) would feel unfairly treated. Confession: I bought Belfast at that time too, but my reasoning was that I thought that after that season the WG data analysis would magically indicate it to be OP and drawn from store. Little miscalculation there

I've been through the t5/6 french cruisers the last weeks, and I do think they have changed smt to the matchmaking. There was still some +2, but way less than a while ago. At the same time, I've noticed seeing t9 some more with t7. T8 is still utterly broken though.

If you mean games (not only t8+) aren't over - i.e. everyone is back to port - in 6 minutes, sure. But, tbh, for quite some time now, it seems to me that a lot, I'd even say most, games are indeed over in about 6 minutes, where you see one of the teams going to absolutely nonsense positions, and/or not even trying to play the objective. That those games don't really end in 6 minutes is just because a lot of the time has to be spent in chasing the cowards for some extra xp. Makes the games extremely uninteresting.

If your point is that in that match you weren't a dd because not suited for capping, enemy might not have had 2 dds. I have specced my kiew (just bought it) as pure gunboat as well, and I have 7.9 concealment, so I don't cap with it either generally.
