I'm not familiar with your particular alphabet, but in the Latin alphabet "d" and "b" are quite different, although I might understand they look similar from an outsider's perspective. And yea, we're aware of the bb flood. Even WG's BS department has recognized it to be a problem more than a year ago. Yup. If anything, lowering the team sizes might do the trick, 7 to 9, isch? Granted, it only happened a few times, but on ranked there were a handful of games where a team came back from what looked/should have been a definite loss, with that comeback not purely based on an enemy throw. Can't recall a recent random game like that. A few days ago I asked @El2aZeRwhen he had a real close game. He couldn't give an answer, nor can I. I'm sure most people can't, even though those games in particular are what makes this game worthwhile...

lol? Anyway, the best silver DD will always be the next one coming out. Besides that, contenders are fletcher, chung mu, gadja, akatsuki Gold probably the kami sisters. Don't have much premium DDs. Lo yang certainly helps with tier 8 ranked () and leningrad is a fun all rounder. Same might be here: best golden DD will be once that premium tier ten DD comes out, cause balance.

I was going to try rank 1 for the first time because I had some real motivation: the steel reward would give me enough for a stalingrad (skipped out of one cb season), or maybe even skip that one if the bourgogne would also be steel I find it a real chore tbh. I thought I would be well over 100 games by now, and stop it, but apparently I'm around 95. R3 now, so it's not impossible I'll continue, but I do find it hard to find to get myself motivated. Also @Leo_Apollo11, until a while ago I too used a matchmaking monitor. I disabled it somewhere before summer. One of the best decisions ever, just saying.

There's a lot of them I truly despise. Agreeing with @Taliesn, anything that puts dispension of disbelief too far out. Roma Beercan is hideous beyond belief, The Wooster eagle BS, the various holiday camo's ( @Aragathor giving a prime example), the Frosty's... Even though I used the frosty's extensively, cause decent bonusses, and I got a few bazillion of them with last Christmas crates (and other things?) Some of the non-realistic ones I like though, primarly the red ones: Valentine and the fire ones. The Pi-day one also is remarkably nice. Though I'd appreciate it much more if all camo's, even the special ones, were based way more on a historical template...

Then this happened Yup, that's three losses straight in a row in a (imho) very strong tier ten ship. All games had multiple tier tens dead in the first minutes. So I'm not gonna play cossack on mongday, not worth it, given it sees about the same matchmaking and the same braindeads. Also, I don't have a captain for it yet

I meant that statement as a defining relative clause. I.e. I mean the specific subset of tier 5 BBs that WG doesn't care about, not "(All) T5 BBs, which WG doesn't care about" Prime example would be New York. And really no offense, but your screenshot doesn't impress me all that much. You had a first place on the losing team because the enemy CV was braindead enough to keep targeting you.

tier 5 cruisers tier 5 DDs for some part tier 5 BBs that WG doesn't care about anymore same for tier 6, although that matchmaker isn't that vicious as 5 and 8, including that tiers (6) DDs who suddenly don't have less firing power, but also lack a module and while I would be one of the last players to complain about BBs being weak, I have absolutely no intention whatsoever to play a tier 8 BB. Or a DD... Even though I won a cossack on @Aschwell 's stream this weekend

Yup, also, that mechanism allows a "special" player who is +2, to dominate a better -2 player, which will give the first one a mental boost and thus extra reasons to keep playing. This is the main annoyance with the +/- system. I am quite ok with +2-2 tiering, but there are multiple tiers where in practice it is just being downtiered mostly. And sure, there is a challenge to that, but the extra "challenge" to carry useless teammates in their ships two tiers higher is too much imho. Wasn't that new gamemode to alleviate tier 8s? Can't say I noticed one bit of difference. I'm quite sure WG could hardcode it in their mm system, that every individual player would have a similar chance of being uptiered when downtiered the previous game, et vice versa, but they don't. Imho that's just to keep their model intact - i.e. drive downtiered players to spend resources to get to the higher tier as fast as possible, as per what El2a explained. I can't believe people take the BS PR that WG spreads about their (e.g.) "concerns for tier 8 mm" seriously. How many times do those people have to spread utter lies? They also had "concerns" about BBs being too prolific and too hard to kill, member? Do you feel the concernation?...

It started a few weeks ago on september first, correlating with september first 1939. I know a lot of you are history buffs, which is why I wanted to spread that info. That, together with the quite amazing fact they did the same for the first world war, starting in 2014 (so the time overlapped exactly hundred years). I wasn't aware of it when it started, but I saw a buttload of them later, and the quality is remarkably excellent, for what in the end is an amateur project. It's extremely recommended, and one of those things that makes the internet truly worthwile.

Amateur often has a negative connotation, which wasn't what I intended. Strictly speaking, it just denotes the opposite of professional. In this context it would mean the people in the project do what they do for a profession and/or a living. Which isn't. The "non-professionalism" has no negative meaning here. Compare it to the vast part of coders involved in the development of the linux kernel. I guess Linus gets payed, but the other hundreds (thousands?) of coders don't, and are amateurs as well.

Now, question, what will he do? - Turn hard right and ram into the mountain? - Turn hard left, hope for miracle RNG and run? - Do something completely braindead?
