Mid tiers is probably better, cause there might be some players there not just grinding, but realizing they need some practice. While the average high tier zombie doesn't even have the basic capacities for selfcriticism ("that 39% is only because my teams are always stupid") and/or will fall into a hysteric tantrum if you point out their errors. Also, it gets more and more difficult, if not impossible, to compensate for useless high tier ships - not so in mid tiers.

Only unlocked the ship yesterday, and sorry, I didn't read the 15 pages. And the ship sicks major duck. Once I'm done with it, I'd like to sell it for credits just to get her out of my sight, but alas, I'm scared of "winning" her again in some SC.

Did you by any chance watch a CC vid, when they were playing that ship (or any other premium) before the general playerbase even knew what it was? Cause that's the most unreliable source of information ever.

I feel the same. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the Freddy, but I had fun in her, sometimes. Izumo though, what a piece of useless hot garbage. Another vote of mine would go to Ibuki as well. Takes citadels from any angle, and it is just soooo boring to play. I found podvoisky to be ok. Thing is, it's tier 5, so you'll be past her quite fast. Also, you need to do like 20k or so to get superunicum stats in her I'd agree with your other picks, if you have freeXP to spare. What's with the hate vs Z46? Don't remember it that well, but I remember it as quite decent, no?

Somewhat debatable terms, "lacking" vs "abundant". I have 300k + coal, cause none of those bs ships interested me. I only have around 10k steel, and I'm doing the eitel missions to go for black, even though I have serious doubts I'll ever take it out once the carriermageddon starts (I already have balansgrad) I have been short on credits for ages, since I bought most of the tier tens the last months (exceptions being shima & carriers), amplified by rebuying ships for the snowflakes. Couldn't really care for doubloons (only have a few k remaining, but didn't need any in ages) or freexp (also not a single ship that interests me) So I went with 1. credits 2. coal 3. XP 4. P2W (still in premium time from SC's) I entered XP for number 3 since it has gotten ridiculously easy to grind entire lines. I heard about a guy getting 4 tier tens in less than 1000 games - granted, he wasn't a newbie, but it is still indicative.

Did you fell on your head a few too many times? You implied that my comment about skipping tiers said more about me than the general playerbase. When I said check my profile, that was not to check my stats, but to check if I have skipped ships, and if so, how many. Which should have been obvious if comprehensive reading was a skill you retained. I only vaguely knew your name before, but it is impressive what impression you have been able to make in just a few posts. Congratulations.

You joking? By "hacking it like the rest of us" you mean only playing tier 8 if necessary (grind/mission) and never ever look back once passed, or, if it is a very decent premium? Maybe you still play some "normal" tier 8s, but a lot of people don't want to bother with the "challenge" of both facing +2 ships AND having to carry your tier ten monkeys in your subpar boat.

Lol at all those ppl making fun of him At +-1500 games he's still quite new, as you know well enough. Tier 8 (and other tiers) matchmaking IS frustrating, there's no denying that, even more so because that is by design. If the OP's answer to that intended frustration is to say goodbye, rather than finding "relief" in one of the payed options to skip those tiers and go straight to tier ten, where he could join all those others who don't belong there, and of course finding a payed option to afford staying there, I'd say good for him.
